Just had dealings with Mr Carmody and staff, and I was entirely satisfied with the service we received (Enduring powers of attorney and a will). Mr Carmody is a gentleman, friendly and professional. His staff are excellent and thoughtful. My appointment was arranged on short notice to help accommodate my schedule as my sister and I are from interstate and had convened in Young to sort out family issues. We left the premises having everything sorted and completed, and then the bill. It was very reasonable. It was a nice surprise. I highly recommend this business, as they are small-town-friendly and caring, with warmth and compassion. Thanks, KP Carmody, we appreciate you very much.

Hello to anyone that reads this, that may be needing someone to handle a deceased estate.
My advice, for your own wellbeing, do not engage with KP Carmody and co, of Young, NSW company by any means.
The lack of care and professionalism is not something I have ever experienced with any other law firm. They don't act in a timely manner, put you in a low priority pile (waiting up to 6 months just to submit a simple letter) and when you call or email for clarity on how things are progressing, they hang up and ignore you. Honestly, the worst business I have ever dealt with.
Save yourself a lot of heartache and grief, find a different lawyer. How we have been treated is beyond appalling. I wouldn't wish it on anyone to have an estate dragged out for nearly 3 years, with a lawyer that you pay good money to, that couldn't care less.
