It look me a few years after learning about Landmark before I decided to do the first course. I felt that recruiting had been a bit aggressive, and I avoided people that felt like they were selling something. Fast forward many years and many courses later, I loved the education and confronted so many fears I had in life affected my confidence and limited me in being fully myself. I was already quite successful in life before taking the Forum, by most standards, having received a PHD in Engineering, receiving a full ride soccer scholarship for college, and having great friends. However, I was divorced by the age of 29 and had a lot of confidence issues after my wife left me. I was also driven more to prove myself which lead to an excessive work ethic and a lot of stress because I always took on too much because I was such an over achiever. After the first course, I realized a lot of things. I chose to keep participating and loved every course, but it also isn’t a cake walk. It is confronting in a lot of ways, but moving through what normally stops you is why people have such huge breakthroughs, and I did. My stress levels went way down from debilitating at times to almost non existent. I ended up starting my own company which I later sold to Apple. I have a wife and a lovely daughter and am truly happy. Im still driven, but it no longer comes from a place of trying to prove myself, so I have a much better handle on how to balance life towards the things that are important to me. Landmark isn’t perfect and there are a lot of people that get excited about the education Because of the profound difference it has made in their lives. They can come across aggressive because they want others to experience the kind of breakthroughs they had; and most people I took courses with had those type of huge breskthrouhs. However, you do have to participate and push past your comfort zone, which some don’t do and don’t report the same level of effectiveness. It works if you are willing to try it on. I’ve seen such profound breakthroughs in the courses I took,
People would hardly believe it, but it’s true. Look past what you might feel is a sales pitch and consider that the people really are that excited about what they got.

Landmark is a powerful tool that changed my life in a positive way. I recommend this to all of my friends. Change takes change.

Landmark has made a tremendous difference in my life, one of the most impactful things I’ve ever done. Landmark helped me with breakthroughs in areas of my life where I was looking for a breakthrough AND I had breakthroughs in other areas of my life that I did not see coming! From a richer family life to making more money to really living a created life….I’m giving Landmark a lot of the credit.

Landmark’s training has hands down been the most powerful personal development experience I’ve ever had—and it just keeps getting better. I did the Forum over a decade ago and have since taken the Advanced Course, SELP, seminars, and both levels of the Communication Courses. The higher-level programs go deeper and continue to expand your capacity for transformation. Over time, you begin to see how Landmark underpins nearly every serious self-improvement program out there. Honestly, if a coach hasn’t done Landmark, they’re probably missing key foundations of transformational work.

It’s a path to the next level of your life—one that can shift what’s possible for you to achieve. It has the power to change your trajectory. And it costs a fraction of most other programs.

So when someone comes to me with drama, a challenge, or a relationship in crisis—if they can handle the directness—I urge them to go to Landmark. It gives you the tools to have the kinds of conversations that can truly transform your life.

Landmark was my first stop on the “personal development train” when I turned 30. My biggest regret was not finding them 10 years sooner. I was so disenchanted with life before doing the Landmark Forum and it all opened up after that. I did most of their programs over the course of the next few years (and decades) and felt like a much healthier, happier person as a result. I see that some people here understandably think it’s a cult, but as someone who did programs with NXIVM, a real cult, I can assure you Landmark is safe. As with any Large Group Awareness Training, it’s a lot of energy & can be confronting at times, but you’re always free to leave, it’s fairly inexpensive, and no one is telling you to stop talking to your family members. I highly recommend it.

Ie done a lot of personal development over the last 30 years in a wide variety of domains, yet Landmark Education is THE experience I recommend most often and strongly to my clients, family, friends and yes even “strangers”!

Just today I told a client, “Once you finally go do the Forum, you’re going to be mad at me for not having you do it sooner.”

My father told me about it and I trusted him. I skipped the intro and registered. I did have resistance to so many things, the cost, sitting in a room for a weekend, listening to other people w their problems, etc. but I quickly (well, it actually took me 2.5 days for it to really kick in before I would really let it in so many joy so quickly), I was touched by my experiences there.

My relationships got better, I pursued, achieved and enjoyed more of what I wanted. I was more authentic with myself and others and just lived a fuller happier life. When times did get tough, I handled those hurdles with greater presence, intention and ease. I found myself at peace even when circumstances should have throw me for a loop, stopped me or triggered me.

I first did the Landmark Education Forum in 1998, but I’ve actually done it half a dozen times since then to refresh and see how it has changed. I’ve done other Landmark courses as well and even volunteered to staff at times. Start with the Forum, but I have to say do NOT miss the Wisdom Unlimited Course. I did that 10 month-long course 6 times in 16 years - I LOVED IT!

Oh AND I’ve met some of my best friends in the world, not to mention my husband through doing Landmark too!

I recommended Landmark wholeheartedly.

I’ve completed the Landmark Forum, the Advanced Course, several seminars, and even did the SELP twice—and I can honestly say each experience has been deeply transformative.

What stood out most was the profound impact it had on how I relate to the people closest to me. My personal relationships—especially with family and loved ones—have become more open, honest, and deeply fulfilling. I’ve learned to listen differently, communicate with clarity, and let go of old baggage that used to hold me back.

Landmark didn’t just teach me tools—it helped me see life through a completely new lens. I now approach challenges with a sense of possibility, and I’m far more present and intentional in all areas of my life.

If you’re looking for a breakthrough in how you experience life and relationships, I highly recommend doing the Forum and continuing with the programs. It’s not always easy, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Landmark Education is a life altering personal development program. My life and the possibilities that became available to me went from a 10 out of 100 to 1000 out of 100 through this work.

The various programs I've taken over the years from the Forum to the Partnership Course completed altered my career trajectory from something I felt I should be doing to make money to something I'm deeply inspired to do with the lifetime I have to live.

My marriage would have simply not been possible without both me and my wife participating in this work. We went from a mess to a "model" marriage - not to say we don't have friction and tough times... but we have to tools to turn upset into upleveling.

As Landmark says - anything is possible for yourself and your life through participating in its programs. I can wholeheartedly confirm that this is the case.

I first attended Landmark in 2000. It changed my life.

They say how you show up in one area of life is how you show up in all areas and I found that to be true. Once I saw my blind spots and started addressing them, the ripple effect touched everything.

Landmark offers a program that has transformed our family into one that collaborates, communicates and gets along beautifully through thick and thin. We have been involved in Landmark for decades and the skills acquired through this program has continued to deliver great results to three generations of our immediate and extended family group of over 25+ individuals. I don’t know what we would have done without it. One of our 5 sons completed the forum his Junior year in high school and said, “This program should be in every high school in the country!”

I had poor experience. Wasted time by trusting their organization. Integrity is not in their system.

I recently heard some awful reuses of landmark forum and wanted to add my own first hand experience a few years ago.
I did a weekend Landmark Forum in August of 2018 after hearing such great reviews of how it transformed thinking/lives/relationships.

They use military style brainwashing to tear you down before biting you back up.
They shout in your face while towering over people. It’s intense bullying of the worst kind.
At the end of the course I wanted to leave without signing up for the next course. I had literally had enough of what I had seen & heard. I was prevented from leaving and so I & another woman decided to fake going to the toilet. They actually monitored us going to the washrooms. Once the coast was clear we ran out of that place telling the person on the doors we were going for a cigaret (neither of us smoked). We ran like hell.
The lady I escaped with said she felt the same as me and wouldn’t be going back. We stayed in touch and a few months later she said she was going back but with her husband at that point I cut ties.
One very clear requirement if attendance is that you must not be taking any antidepressants etc. there were attendees who openly said they were taking antidepressants. They were not questioned about it or challenged in anyway in fact they were signalled out for more “attention”.

I wrote to landmark & asked for a refund. I was told they don’t do refunds. I threatened to go to the police about how they openly exploited vulnerable people. I was then contacted by a “Registration fulfilment manager” wanting to speak to me about my experience. I explained about the awful way their speaker treated attendees and they basically try to brainwash people using military style tactics that I would report to the police. Eventually he agreed to give me a full refund but not until he tried to get me to go back again!!
They really are a cult like organisation I advise anyone thinking of attending any of their courses to use your money more wisely elsewhere.
