- From aircraft coming back to chile and dumping fuel cause a failed turbine
- Connection in Sao Paulo, me and my friend stayed there and bags left to Porto Alegre (illegal)
- Making my life hard when my mom went to ICU in Brazil according to the law I was entitled for free or cheap airfare, told this over the phone and transaction was never approved. Ended up paying much more buying from Qantas and same itinerary
- The last one is the battle for a refund since January

La peor experiencia que te he tenido. Mi equipaje el cual fue entregado con retraso en Santiago de Chile y en condiciones inaceptables.
Si bien mi maleta fue finalmente entregada, esta llegó visiblemente dañada y con señales claras de haber sido forzada y manipulada. El candado de seguridad fue roto y el cierre de la maleta quedó inutilizable, lo que evidencia que fue abierta sin autorización.
Además, he constatado la falta de varios objetos personales en su interior, asimismo, algunos productos fueron abiertos y manipulados de forma inapropiada dentro de la maleta.
Esta situación es sumamente grave, ya que implica tanto daño a mi equipaje como la pérdida de pertenencias personales.
Horrible experiencia, espero respondan por los danos ocasionados

I wanted to take a moment to recognize an exceptional experience we had with LATAM Airlines at Boston Logan Airport.
Traveling with 24 checked bags is no small task, and what could have easily been a stressful situation was handled with incredible patience and professionalism by Matthew at check-in. He took his time, guided us through every step, and made the entire process feel smooth, organized, and efficient. His calm demeanor and attention to detail truly stood out.
I also want to acknowledge the head manager on duty (I regret not catching her name), who was equally helpful in stepping in and finding solutions when needed. It was clear that both of them genuinely cared about making things work for us.
Experiences like this make all the difference when traveling. I just wish more people in the industry carried the same level of work ethic and care that Matthew demonstrated.
Thank you for turning what could have been a complicated check-in into such a positive experience.
Scorretti al limite della truffa
Vorrei mettere tutti in guardia sulle pratiche di Latam.
io personalmente non viaggerò mai più con loro.
Il 22 dicembre 2025 faccio un cambio data di un volo Milano-Buenos Aires direttamente dal loro sito pagando una penale di 292.94 euro.
Quando mi accingo a fare il check-in online scopro che il volo non esiste più.
Contatto il servizio clienti e loro mi dicono che io avevo cancellato il volo ottenendo un rimborso di 54.93 euro.
Il fatto Ú che io di questo non mi sono nemmeno reso conto.
Credo (ma non ne sono sicuro) che successivamente al cambio volo si sia aperta una finestra che io probabilmente ho cliccato innescando la richiesta (CON UN CLICK!!!!) di rimborso.
Risultato:
1-ho dovuto comprare un altro biglietto 912,96 euro
2-hanno incassato il costo per il cambio aereo 292,94 meno il "rimborso" di 54,93.
Il modus operandi non Ú casuale.
Non sono improvvisamente impazzito spendendo quasi trecento euro per chiedere un rimborso di 50 euro mezz'ora dopo, perdendo il volo!!!
Oltre il danno e la beffa la cosa che più mi fa arrabbiare Ú che non me ne sono nemmeno accorto.
La procedura di cambio volo Ú stata lunga e complicata il "rimborso" velocissimo tanto che non sono nemmeno sicuro di come sia successo.

Son unos malditos, en unas partes tienen unas politicas de devolucion y en otras dicen algo diferente, siempre acomodado a su convinencia, si compran con esta gente o haganlo en ultimo minuto o compren el 100% de las veces el maldito seguro porque si no pagan la tarifa no les interesa que se haya muerto su propia madre, no le van a devolver la plata.

Una vergÃŒenza.
Son una vergÃŒenza. Me perdieron las valijas por un vuelo que fue reprogramado, cuando avisamos por todos los medios para que no pasara y les mostramos la ubicación de nuestros AirTags. Nadie tiene ganas de trabajar. Tardaron más de 48 horas en rastrearlas porque nadie se querÃa hacer cargo y ocuparse resolver el problema, mientras nosotros sabÃamos en todo momento donde estaban.
Ahora van más de 72 horas y todavÃa no tengo mis valijas porque aún asà NO las envÃan en el primer vuelo disponible. La pérdida de tiempo y mala sangre que estamos pasando desde el dia lunes es inadmisible. Los empleados de LATAM no tienen ganas de trabajar, y deberÃan ser reemplazados por IA directamente ya que lo único que hacen es repetir las cosas cual robots y no empatizan con el cliente que tiene un problema real. Lamentablemente, tampoco les interesa mejorar ya que la aviación es un mal necesario y nos tienen a todos los pasajeros de rehenes.

chf anstelle der Ìblichen ca 40 chf verbucht. Das Personal war inkompetent und unfreundlich. Eine nachtrÀgliche klÀrung - die mir auferlegt wurde ist nicht möglich. Da das IT Tool es nicht zulÀsst und das servic telefon abgeklemt wird.
Absolutes no go.

I am extremely disappointed with LATAM Airlines and the misleading information provided by their call center.
I contacted LATAMâs call center to get assistance purchasing a round-trip ticket for my minor daughter from Bogotá, Colombia to Sydney, Australia, and back to Bogotá. My main concern was the return flight. I explained clearly that there was a possibility that my daughter might remain with me in Australia depending on visa circumstances, and I wanted to purchase the ticket in a way that would allow me to recover most of the money if the return flight was not used.
The LATAM call center agent advised me to purchase the outbound ticket with the Light fare (the cheapest option) and the return ticket with the Full fare, explaining that if the return flight was not used I would be able to request a partial refund of the unused ticket. Trusting this professional advice, I proceeded to purchase the tickets exactly as recommended.
Later, we used the flight from Bogotá to Sydney. Fortunately, thanks to a decision by the Australian government, my daughter was able to stay in Australia and did not need to use the return ticket to Colombia.
I then contacted LATAM again to ask how to request the refund for the unused return flight. To my surprise, the agent told me that the only amount that could be refunded were the airport taxes, approximately $200, even though the ticket had cost more than $2000.
This was extremely frustrating because it was completely different from the information given when I bought the ticket, especially considering that I paid a more expensive Full fare specifically to have refund flexibility.
Even so, I submitted the refund request through their website hoping they would review the situation properly, since the ticket had been purchased under the Full fare conditions. Unfortunately, the result was exactly the same: LATAM only refunded the airport taxes.
When I complained through their customer service page, their response was that I should have requested the refund before using the first flight of the ticket, which was never explained to me when I purchased it.
This situation shows very poor customer advice, lack of clarity, and inconsistent information from their staff. I ended up paying a higher fare based on guidance from their own call center, but that extra cost turned out to be completely useless.
I feel misled and very disappointed by this experience. Because of this, I cannot recommend LATAM Airlines and I will not use their services again.

LATAM isnât worth the money
LATAM is the only airline with direct flights from LA to Lima. They are the most expensive, worst customer service airline around. Iâve used them for more than 10 flights over the past 5 years. And still I get treated like scum. They used to allow 2 checked bags for plus fares, now itâs only one but price has gone up. They do not cater to foreigners or passengers who are non Spanish speaking. Some Announcements arenât translated in airports, or in flight. The quality of food & beverage is horrible. Meals on long haul flights consist of a 1 course entree. The attendants arenât very friendly nor accommodating. The pricing is top tier of all South American Airlines. Contacting customer service will take forever. So donât try to make changes after you purchase a ticket. Also the LATAM pass program is a joke. They donât value long time patrons, very hard to get upgrades. Miles arenât worth much & be careful they expire often.
Worst customer service and website
They have the worst customer service. I changed my flight (same day but different time) and they had removed all my luggage benefits that I'd paid for at the time of booking.
Customer service wasn't helpful so I have had to buy the baggage again.
I understand there's a fee to change flights but it should be made apparent that the changed flight might not be the same class and the option to include all baggage in the flight.
There website constantly gives error so it's quite difficult to navigate.

Además, se niegan a cargar el WAIVER de salud en mi reserva JTIGNV, bloqueando el reembolso que la agencia eDreams debe procesar. Exijo una solución inmediata antes de avanzar con la denuncia penal por violación a la Ley de Defensa del Consumidor 24.240."
Very disappointing experience withâŠ
Very disappointing experience with LATAM Airlines.
Even though we had already paid for checked baggage, at the airport we were told it was not included and were forced to pay again. The situation became even worse when I collected my backpack and found that the protective luggage cover I had securely placed on it was missing, something that cannot come off by accident as it was fully closed and secured with a zipper. On my very next connecting flight, I was required to pay to have my backpack wrapped for protection â something that obviously would not have been necessary if my original cover had not been removed.
I tried to resolve the issue through their WhatsApp support system, but it was completely unhelpful and I never received a fair solution. Overall, very frustrating experience. I definitely expected much better.
