Excellent quality

A well thought out kit and clear installation instructions. The kit worked well with the LEGO build and were surprisingly bright. My only slight negative was that for the Artemis kit I would have liked more lights running up the launch tower.

Fantastic accessory to a great LEGO® Sherlock Holmes Book Nook set

LEGO® Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook #10351 DIY Light Bundle! was a fantastic accessory with the USB Power Bank (no visible cables now) to this set. It adds a new dimension when lit up on my shelf at night. I'll definitely consider purchasing other DIY Light Bundles in future. Very easy to assemble when you follow the YouTube videos that are very informative and easy to follow.

Incredible service

You pay a premium for the product but the quality of the kit and attention to detail with instructions etc. is second to none. Aftersales is amazing too - one of my LEDs wasn't working and a replacement was sent within a few days

This is a good product but it can be fiddly to install. Try not to bend the wires to much. I made the mistake of making a corner to tight and the wire broke so I had to order a new one. Overall affect is great but take your time.

I purchased the Fantasy Starter set

I purchased the Fantasy Starter set. Everything I needed an more to light up my Lego Minecraft scene. The components are easy to plug in and the wires are amazingly strong yet fit into the non existent spaces between and under bricks. Amazing. I particularly liked the videos on your site. Informative and humourous... Like LightMyBricks for Dummies (like me!)

Its a great kit, expensive but great

Its a great kit, its made the logo model really stand out!, the whole things great, but it is quite expensive and some bits that i thought were a given to kight up...dont, a fire pit cooking?.... nope, the light from a locked cell?...nope.... just a few "niggles" i guess, and it could do with a bit more flicker on the lower levels, maybe two lights one to go off now and again to give the impression of embers?.... i dunno...but it is well made, packaged, and its great.... id use em again!

Great, but fiddly!

Bought the 1.0 lighting kit for 10300 Time Machine.

It seemed expensive at first, but the attention to detail and thought that's gone into the design really is next level and the end result is fantastic.

And I kinda feel like I've had more enjoyment out of the original lego set, having taken it apart and put it together a couple of times. And it probably took almost as long to install the lighting as it did to build the thing in the first place, so I feel like I've got my money's worth.

That said, this set was hella fiddly... Such small components... I had to put my old lady reading glasses on and use a ring lamp to be able to see in sufficient detail...and I was lucky to have longer nails when assembling it.

When you can barely see what you're putting together, it feels like assembly is a little hit and miss.

It would really help if the instructions were changed to put power systems in place first... So that from the first light you install, you're able to verify that the plugs are in the right way up, all of the connections are secure etc.

I had to go back and debug a bunch of connections when power was added, which was a tedious process...when the plugs are so small and fiddly you want to plug/unplug them as little as possible!

By the second half of the set I'd got the hang of it, and am confident that I'd get through subsequent builds with much less pain... but I wonder how many people rage quit before they get that far!
