Confusing. âŠ
None of the packets represent a certain section of the lighting build, ie packet one for the boosters, packet two for the tower etc, all the wires and connectors are mixed throughout all of the packets, making it very confusing. There are two wires missing too, which should be for the docking bay.
Secondly, there is no instruction manual with the kit. so it has to be done online through a computer. The online instructions are some what vague too and not very easy to understand.
Lastly I have the version 2 of the lighting kit, whilst the instructions are for version 1. This needs updating asap. I hope when itâs finished it is worthwhile, as itâs been quite stressful.

Great product
Having received my items 1x new style 1x old style wiring you can see that they care about what you are getting and want to make sure that it's future proof and also that it doesnt have any asteticly negative impacts on your sets especialy the new kits which have super thin wires so they fit between your bricks. The clear to use instructions are also fantastic to see.

Order: UK20806, Complaint email sent 11/12/24 9.16PM. Customer service told me they couldnât credit my refund back to my wifeâs card. Iâve since given them alternative details itâs been 2 weeks and they still havenât given me my money back!

Best option out there
Definitely would recommend, have had zero regrets choosing Light My Bricks. Have had a few issues where the actual connection point from the LMB 1.0 lights to the expansion board has broken cause of how it designed. Yet to try LMB 2.0 but I think this Christmas could be different.

Poor customer service
Within 24 hours of placing an order (Sat) the kit was reduced in price (Sun). Naturally (as sure most would do) I wished to cancel the unfulfilled order (Sun) and re-order at the reduced price. But the website offers no online ability to cancel an unfulfilled order, appears the only way is to email customer service. They took 3 days to respond but as item shipped on day 2 customer service said they could do nothing, which is disappointing.

LMB 2.0 system works very well
The new LMB 2.0 system works very well, no more trying to hide the mini special effect circuit boards. Its great that the company has created a new set even though the Lego Dungeons and Dragons set already had a set using the old system. The cost of the set and components supplied verses covering all aspects of the set is a tricky one, and in the case of the Dungeons and Dragons set I think they should have added a few more components given its designed to be used during the game rather than a static set on display, but that obviously increases the price - perhaps there should have been an expansion set to allow people to buy at different costs. However, on enquiring about getting more components, the staff were very helpful and gave information about the extra components I was after, and explained that they wern't currently available to buy, but they were going to extending the website to cover more stuff. Sure enough, in under a week, the components appeared on their website - can't ask more really - order placed - thanks.
