I have been teaching Spanish at Listen and Learn for some time now and it has been an absolute pleasure. The students I work with are fantastic, classes are fun and the support I receive from Florencia and the other course coordinators is brilliant.

Success at last!It took a little while to get started but I've been teaching for a year now and am having proper conversations with my student, as opposed to phrases for tourists! Not too much paperwork for a self-employed person, you can fit it around another job and they aren't stuffy about how recent your teaching experience was as long as you can do your job, so it suits young graduates as well as those of us returning after a "break".

I am working as a freelance Portuguese teacher through the Listen & Learn UK.

I have been taking Korean classes with Listen and Learn for a number of months, my teacher Hyerim is so helpful, patient and friendly. She makes every class challenging and interesting tailoring the lessons to my needs. I never enjoyed learning languages before but I always look forward to my Korean class and always finish knowing loads more than when I started!

Listen & Learn is such a great company for any language teacher. I have the opportunity to work from home while connecting with nice, kind, and interesting people from around the world, or I can travel and still continue working. Another thing I would like to highlight is the support Listen and Learn provides the teachers. The staff are always very responsive and respectful.

As a native Bengali speaker, I always had the desire to help others learn my beautiful mother-tongue. I wanted to start out teaching Bengali online but unfortunately through my online search, I found out that none of the companies that offer language courses to students had Bengali courses listed as part of their offerings. That is why when I found Listen and Learn online and saw that they do offer Bengali language courses, I was motivated to apply as an online Bengali teacher right away. Now, I get to teach Bengali online to some highly motivated students and I am very much satisfied with the overall work experience. I have been a teacher with Listen and Learn since February 2020. The administrative team, especially Agostina Arce, and Mariana Serb, the Academic Coordinator, are readily available to answer questions and very responsive when it comes to technical difficulties, if any. The payment is on time and the platform for teachers on their page is easy to navigate. In terms of the teaching itself, we are also given plenty of materials to use with our on-line students.

Just what I needed to get back into teaching. Lovely school, very professional and student oriented. I love their feedback requests, both from the teacher and the students, making sure that everybody enjoys the lessons and achieves their goals. The courses kept going despite the pandemic, and I am really looking forward to my online classes. They made my quarantine time enjoyable :))

I have been learning Hebrew with Shai from listen & Learn for a few months now and I cannot say enough amazing things about this service or my teacher. I didn’t mesh well with my first tutor and they immediately assigned me someone different. You get a “tester” session with your new teacher to ensure you are a good fit. The price is also amazing, especially if you buy a package. Considering it’s a private tutor, it’s well worth it and I have learned so much. They can match you very quickly with excellent and professional teachers. Taster lessons are free. Why don't you try and start your taster lesson? Please trust me it is the best choice if you would like to learn a foreign language very fast.

Currently teaching 3 courses for this company. They are well organized and responsive. They provided me student's expectations, background and level in advance so I was able to prepare properly for the 1st class. They paid my salary on time. Nothing negative to say for now, just hoping to get more students.

I'm really happy with my experience at Listen and Learn. My online French teacher, David Hoarau, is amazing and super patient. His classes are very structured and he makes sure you get to work on all your skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) during each class. He always gives useful feedback on homework or assignments, and he's great at explaining those tricky grammar topics that can make the language learning process a bit frustrating.

Instructors create inspired presentations, which are good at transmitting information, but not necessarily good at maintaining or increasing student’s interest in the subject. There is no space for the student to be active or creative. The only role for the student is that of a sponge. Making sure the student remains interested in the material requires different strategies on the part of the instructor, underlying all of which is the recognition of certain psychological and intellectual needs of the students. The teachers at Listen & Learn make sure all of their students become competent learners, self-directed and experientially involved in their learning. Students want learning to be life-centered and applicable.

My goal, as an instructor for Listen & Learn is to generate a situation in which students attempt to sort out the issues and relate them to their own experience, solve the problems involved, and convince one another of their own views. In short, allow the students’ to search out the answers for themselves, and create self-reliance in dealing with the problems of material.
