Absolutely 5 Star customer service from Lucy!
I contacted Korniche on their website enquiry form and explained the problem. Lucy replied straight away. She asked for a picture of the fault (a split in the seal on the runners of the bifolds) She immediately responded with what was needed. Posted out and received the very next day!
Exceptional response! I wish all companies had ‘a Lucy’ in their Customer Service Department!

Customer service at Made for trade is really great! My builders made a hash of fitting a large Korniche lantern and it has had to be removed , which has lead to some cosmetic damage on the trim and gaskets - Korniche have dispatched the parts FOC and have offered plenty of support and advice. I Feel well supported by Made for Trade at this stressful time - and look forward to the re-installation of the lantern!

Handle broke on door thats over 4 years old. Got in touch to ask if i could buy one and they sent me one for free. Couldn't ask for more really.

This review is based solely on aftercare. Bifold handle snapped and as I'm in the trade i got in contact directly, but would be exactly the same if you go through an installer, and a new handle is organised and due for delivery in 48. Can't really ask for more than that. Lucy Stuart was extremely helpful and her service reaffirms why mft are great company to buy from.

I have used your lantern windows on a number of projects and marveled at both the quality of manufacture and ease of installation until this last project. The client ordered directly on my recommendation. So I was unaware of the changes to the design. It no longer has an overhang to prevent water ingress around and the upstand, and fixings onto the upstand are no longer within 50mm upstand width. So we had fixing issues and leaks. In my opinion this is a retrograde step and makes what was a simple installation into a potential problem. I cannot recommend this product again in its current form.

We recently had some bifold doors fitted and our builder managed to lose one of the Shootbolt keys.
I went around all the locksmiths in town and no one could make a new one. I made a call to Made for Trade to see if I could purchase a replacement and to my surprise they sent me one 2 days later. I was impressed with their customer service and willingness to help, these days such qualities are hard to find. Well done to the team, I will fully recommend them to anyone who asks where we got our fabulous doors from. Thank you Made for Trade.

Any issues - of which there are very few - are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

As a company we have been using the Korniche lantern for a few years now, and have fitted in excess of 500. The ease of ordering, quick delivery both on standard and non standard colours and the simplicity of the fitting means this is one of the best products we have found.
Highly recommended.

It’s quite easy in our industry to let the attitude to quality fall into category of “doing just enough to get by” and making sure you’re just a bit better than your nearest competitor but it’s obvious to us, from what we saw during a recent visit to MFT's factory, that there is a huge motivation to get into a position where there are very few failures which we as customers would be exposed to. It’s impossible in a manufacturing setting to prevent every mishap but from what we’ve seen, we know that whatever the issue is it hasn’t got as far as us through a lack of care or attention. That type of environment should be applauded and is a benchmark we’d all like to achieve.

Sales team were very helpful in supporting process id first sale and advising on how to measure correctly and order. The system is set up very well to pick all the right options quote and order and easy enough to adjust and redo.
Once ordered the sales and delivery teams were helpful to keep informed about deliveries via texts and calls, a minor misunderstanding if the delivery date was easily resolved.
Delivery went smoothly and the driver was helpful in helping to unload, however there were delays on the delivery time meaning we had to arrange for others to support delivery when it eventually arrived. The driver apologized and helped.

My only feedback it would be good if a specific delivery time 1-3hr could be arranged more ahead of time than the day before or on the morning. Allowing one to ensure support is available for unloading as it is not always possible to have people available to support and the costs are more.

I forgot to add they also do windows if you ask and the sake team can support with that. This was also smooth. I'm still awaiting delivery of these and bifolds and look forward to a good experience.

Fitters found then well packaged and easy to fit.

Update re bifolds and windows - delivered 2/12/25

Excellent service and delivery. Was informed by email and texts at all stages in advance a week, then day before, and on day. Was able to speak to delivery team got more details on eta. The delivery driver called 45min or so before they were going to deliver. Was a few delays again with my scheduled slot changing to nearer 230/330pm but was kept informed given I called a few times.
Delivery was really smooth, and the driver was really helpful and advised how best to unload and keep the bifolds and large window seat windows. He was careful with everything especially the glass.

You definitely need to have people atleast 2 for windows and 3 for large 3m bifolds available as this is very heavy and not something that can be done by two people.

Was a minor issue when fitting as x2 glass security clamps were missing. However I contacted Lindsay at MFT and they were sent out 1st class. These are just waiting to be fitted now. Hopefully sorted on Monday as couldn't get them done sooner due to fitter availability around Xmas.

All in all very pleased and the windows and bifolds. The customer service is excellent and always friendly.

Everything was very well packaged.

We have used MFT for a couple of years now & products are 99% of the time faultless, very fitter friendly products which is a huge plus for me as a business owner. if we do have any slight issues they are resolved quicky & efficiently to keep the flow of business moving swiftly. particular mention to Lucy Stuart today for sorting a locking cylinder issue out very promptly.

Had an issue with a component for a roof lantern that was fitted 4 years ago. I emailed the company, Jon from customer service could not have been more helpful, excellent customer service. Original order found and size confirmed, new component being sent out, all within a day and a few emails. Thanks
