Exceptional Service and Support from Magicdoor

Magicdoor truly stands out as a company that values both innovation and customer care. The BEST simple and intuitive property management platform

I’m fairly new to property management and currently manage four rental units, and this software has made the whole process way easier than I expected. The platform is very user-friendly and intuitive, even if you don’t have a lot of experience going in.

One of my favorite features is the auto-generated AI responses for tenant maintenance requests. They save me a ton of time and still sound professional and helpful, which is huge when you’re juggling multiple tenants. I also really liked how easy it was to create and post rental listings — I was able to set them up quickly and have them posted across multiple online sites without any hassle.

Setting up rent payments was also straightforward and stress-free. Everything is organized in one place, which helps me stay_phoneline organized and on top of things. And honestly, the fact that this service is free makes it even better.

Overall, this has been a great tool for someone just getting started in property management. It’s simple, efficient, and packed with useful features without feeling overwhelming. I’d definitely recommend it to other small landlords or new property managers.

This is a 3 1/2 star listing and getting better. My only complaint would be the time it took to make the changes either just onto my platform or across the board for all of your customers. I worked on boarding directly with Will Talku. In March 2025. At that time, your company did not have much experience with commercial properties and the nuances from residential. With my 25 years in both areas, coupled with my straightforward nothing held back demeanor. I provided several major suggestions and explanations why. Will the on boarding agent agreed yet this took several months to take affect. Just yesterday I sent out an announcement and I for sure noticed the difference on how just two months ago you were able to mistakenly send out an invoice without finishing the context just by hitting enter. I providing much feedback and how there should be two or multiple steps to send out a message as well as spellcheck suggestion, but I don’t know if that was in place.
I see that you took my or other people suggestions of being able to create an invoice. This has served me well with one time bills which is another issue since one time or recurring is not an option one way or the other. I worked with Haley multiple times in the past few months. I’m trying to get invoices for rent recurring charges and I have three charges per tenant so there wasn’t a way to send an invoice. I’ve been having to do my invoice in Google sheets for each unit, which kind of defeats what I was trying to do with an online platform. I will follow up with my rep directly to see if we can do this.

David knows Magic Door software but also knows how to listen and provide exceptionally pointed and easy to comprehend solutions.

If it were not for his skillsets and personality, I may have not made the effort to be a client of Magic Door.

amazing support

Their support is very helpful and prompt. The system is very straightforward and customizable. One of the few services that accepts zelle payments aswell. So far my experience with onboarding and use of the platform have been a very positive experience.

I’ve been using MagicDoor for a few


I’ve been using MagicDoor for a few months now. The team recently rolled out major accounting updates, and they were needed. The new general ledger improvements make a noticeable difference in day to day reporting and clarity.

Being able to choose between cash and accrual accounting is a big win. It makes the platform flexible depending on how you run your books, and it aligns better with real world property management workflows.

The software is still growing, but updates roll out quickly and issues get addressed faster than I’ve seen with more established systems. Support is responsive and easy to work with.

If you want a platform that listens, improves fast, and keeps modern accounting needs in mind, MagicDoor is worth a look.

So much improvement is needed. Hate to write this review, but honestly, this software is not ready, and you should avoid it unless you're a simple 1 to 2-unit self-managing landlord. They regularly push out updates without testing, and it breaks other aspects of the software. For example, this month they launched a new "Accounting Back-End', it broke the owner portal income reports so they show other investors' numbers, broke the management fee collections, and they have no fix. I love the software and where it's heading, but honestly, they are at least one to two years out before I could recommend them to anybody.

I started to manage properties with MagicDoor, and I am happy with its feacturs and customer support

I started to manage properties with Excel sheet, then soon i realized that i need software for it, as i did not feeling comfortable to give my personal number and bank information to tenants. i tried some softwares, like Avil, Stessa, Doorloop, they were good, but not enough, i wanted something more easy to work with. I started using MagicDoor since last April, as Beta client, so far, i am pretty happy with MagicDoor's feactures and customer support, very easy to learn and work with. One thing i really like is that the multi language communicate on MagicDoor, which allows me easily communicate with tenants who don't speak English, which helps a lot to improve Tenants' happiness and properties' occupacy.
