We paid £22,500 for a Maserati, put down a £2500 deposit, and received an absolute nightmare of a vehicle and shocking customer service. We work two jobs each and saved hard for this, only to be left completely heartbroken.The Delivery & Vehicle Faults:The vehicle was delivered by a driver who was in such a rush to leave for another drop-off that we were given zero time to inspect the car. Within just three days, a catalogue of dangerous and unacceptable faults appeared:Safety Hazard: While driving on the motorway, the plastic trim on the windscreen came completely loose, slapping the side of the car and scratching the paintwork.Illegal/Worn Parts: The windscreen wiper rubber was hanging off, the rear reflector was completely smashed, and the tyres had 1mm left ("on the brim").Structural Red Flags: The bonnet did not line up correctly, strongly suggesting the car had been involved in an unrecorded accident.Defective Windows: The left-side windows failed to close properly, creating a deafening noise while driving.The Lies Regarding History & MOT:We were explicitly promised a full service history and a fresh MOT. This was a lie. The car has no service history recorded for years. Whoever passed this vehicle for a fresh MOT needs investigatingâit was completely unroadworthy.Shocking Customer Service:When we raised these issues, we were rudely told that a dangerous motorway trim failure and bald tyres on a £22,500 car after two days was just "wear and tear." We called every single day for several days to reject the car. Not once did they return our calls.The Refund Battle:Getting our money back was exhausting. The dealership refused to cooperate, forcing us to go through our finance company to get our deposit back. To top off the absolute cheek and hassle they caused us, they still deducted £250 from our refund just to come and collect their own defective vehicle.This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and sells dangerous vehicles. I had an issue initially regarding a reservation deposit, however I was contacted directly by the dealershipâs director who handled the situation in a very professional and understanding manner.
The matter was taken seriously and resolved promptly, and I can confirm that a full refund of my deposit has now been received as promised.
I appreciate the way this was handled at management level and the effort made to resolve things fairly.

I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews but my experience was very positive. Bought a BMW 1 series. Put a deposit down and picked it up on the agreed date. Staff were friendly and no complaints from me.

Bought a car from these clowns within 6 months the gearbox went faulty, emailed them, sent letters, called them and they are ignorant, they told me not to call anymore and just email, yet they donât reply. Starting legal proceedings. Donât buy a car from these cowboys stay well clear

Extremely poor communication, very difficult to obtain refund
We placed a £100 deposit on a vehicle after being told it would be ready to view on a specific date and that we would receive confirmation and a video tour that morning. No confirmation was ever provided.
Despite calling twice on the agreed viewing day and being told someone would call us back, we received no response. We then emailed to request a refund of the deposit. That email also went unanswered, as did subsequent follow-up emails from us.
Several days later, we were told over the phone that the refund had already been authorised and would be received by Monday. This did not happen.
It was only after we sent a formal Letter Before Action that the dealership responded within minutes and processed the refund shortly afterwards.
The contrast between eight days of silence and a 30-minute turnaround once legal action was threatened speaks for itself.
Based on our experience, we would not have confidence in this dealership to handle a transaction properly and would not recommend them.

Negative post-sale experience
We had a very disappointing experience with Magna Motors.
We purchased a car from them which unfortunately developed a fault shortly afterwards and had to be returned. While we understand that issues can sometimes happen, what followed was extremely frustrating.
We were left waiting 5 weeks for a full refund. During that time we had to make numerous phone calls, send multiple emails, visit in person, submit formal complaints, and even issue a formal letter giving Magna Motors 7 days to make payment before we would begin court action. The stress and time involved were completely unacceptable.
In the end, we only received the refund on the final day of that deadline â and only after turning up at Magna Motors in person again.
I do want to acknowledge that Joe from Magna Motors, who took over my refund case in January, was the only person who consistently replied to me and actively chased the matter on my behalf. Without his involvement, Iâm not convinced this would have been resolved when it was.
Overall, a very poor post-sale experience that has left us with zero confidence in recommending Magna Motors

I would strongly advise people to stay away from Magna Motors based on our experience.
We purchased a vehicle that became faulty within a day of driving it. The car was sent back for repair, but when it was returned to us it still had the exact same fault. Because of this, we rejected the vehicle within 30 days of purchase and followed all the correct procedures to return it.
Despite doing everything required on our part, we then had to wait 5 weeks to receive our refund, all while continuously chasing them for updates. The process was extremely frustrating and far more stressful than it should have been.
The only positive part of this experience was Joe, who genuinely seemed to want to help us get our refund. He went out of his way to communicate with us throughout the process, and we appreciate his efforts.
Unfortunately, overall our experience was very disappointing, and we would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Magna Motors

Dangerous vehicles sold here , avoid these cowboys like a virus
I viewed a vehicle and agreed a price . They guaranteed a mot and service that were later found NOT to have been done .They also tried to force a grossly inflated warranty which can be had for half the price elsewhere .
Within 24 hrs the car electrics failed and it wouldnât start . They sent two â cowboysâ to fix it but they brought â no toolsâ asking if we had any .?!?! Incredulous .
They got it started by bump starting it and âguessedâ it could be at least 14 things but âcouldnât be sureâ . The car was returned and they had it for no less than six weeks and it still wasnât repaired . Their offer was â you take it in the non roadworthy and Mot failure state itâs in , you get it fixed and if we agree on the price of the repair we might pay for itâ !!!
The car was not accepted back , and under the credit consumer act 2015 we demanded a full refund . The refund was denied breaching legislation and so legal counsel was engaged .
They put the car back on auto trader which again under legislation is illegal as they have not issued a refund and so the car was not legally there to sell.
They literally are the very definition of the poor reputation second hand car dealers have .
Auto trader were informed of their illegal behaviour and removed the advert under fraudulent behaviour .
We are assured by ojr solicitor we most certainly will get the money back and then we will be taking âfurthers legal stepsâ against them . This is not over until we are satisfied !!
Word of advice STAY CLEAR , STAY AWAY .AVOID AVOID AVOID this dodgy car dealers and donât be impressed by a website , there is no substance to this shabby outfit selling vehicles that are not fit for purpose . I would not buy a car from this car dealership as they are cow boys and donât check the cars over before they sell their cars as had lots off problems with the car as only had it 3 months and there was missing parts from the engaine and wiring that had been fitted in the engaine properly and the turbo needs replacing and had oil leaks which they said did not have Iâve been to proper dealership that told me this information as they would not cover any costs to repair the issue or give me refund I would stay well clear off this company

Huge WASTE of time and massively unprofessional. I gave a phone call regarding one of their vehicles and made it known to them a mechanic is going to be checking the vehicle the next day. Next day comes and they tell the mechanic that this vehicle doesnât exist and isnât on the site my mechanic then called me and told me thereâs no vehicle here and made me look like a fool despite me informing them yesterday. VERY DODGY in the sense of vehicle was due to be checked and now has vanished from site. Clearly they didnât want the vehicle to be checked by a professional. Not only that but I wasted my money paying the mechanic and coming down. At first they denied any knowledge of the vehicle even existing and then after a few phone calls they confirmed it exists but no longer on site for reasons they didnât know. How do you not know where your cars are? The guy on the phone told me what do you want me to do about the vehicle if itâs not here, I canât do anything when I was told it was there ready for a test drive now that I informed them a mechanic is coming down itâs no longer there, doesnât make sense. I will warn anyone thinking of buying a vehicle from here, donât fall for it, itâs a TRAP and a very dodgy COMPANY.

Avoid this company like the plague, purchased a mercedes GLC,finance company paid out but when came to delivery date the car didn't turn up,when asked where it is I was told the car has a gear box fault, but will be delivered the following Tuesday.
Checked in on Monday was told rudely it's not happening then no further communication.
