I'd have to say firstly that I've always to date been really happy with my purchases from maison du monde. Their styles fit my home perfectly.
However I recently bought some of their Greta kitchen modules. Again super happy with the appearance but really upset about the stone worktops. Kitchen was fitted in July 2022 and already the worktop is a disaster. It marks with everything and now looks really terrible. I got in touch with with their customer service team. They requested photos and their conclusion was that it's normal wear and tear. Well not acceptable! I've had many different types of worktops over the years and have never seen anything like this. The stone has obviously not been sealed correctly . Their only advice being to reseal it. Not what I would expect from a kitchen of this price!I hope that you can offer me a better resolution.

Cabinet I ordered arrived faulty but there is no way to contact Maisons du Monde - no email address on their website and none of their phone lines are open when I call, despite this being during their advertised opening hours. I am confused how to proceed with my refund/replacement.

Item arrived damaged and you can only contact them by phone, but when you call during their opening hours they say they're closed! Can't get in touch with them and no email provided on the website. Total scam, I'm down £350. I'll be chasing this with my bank to reverse the charge and I'll be reporting them to the ombudsman. What a joke of a company.

Looks fab in the website pictures, but the item is poorly made, with the wood being unfinished and heavily marked. The base of the wood draws is so thin, that it arrived cracked in places. The draw catcher, is at the top, and it's a hazard, as it's sharp and catches your hand. I wouldn't buy from them again. I would have returned, but it's such a mission.

Bought the 'Provence' Extendible 6/14 Seater Dining Table on Castors L 125/325 for £1,515, and it arrived severely damaged. A big chunk of the wood from the top of the table had somehow been snapped upwards, which was dangerous, and completely ruined the table as it wasn't hidden underneath or anything.

It was a beautiful table but very disappointed that it was damaged and I had to return it after waiting 8-10 weeks for it to be delivered in the first place. It also then took a long time for them to collect the item and provide a refund, so I just had a huge broken table sitting in my dining room.

My beautiful chairs arrived right on time to complete my new kitchen , they are very good quality and even look better than in pictures. The delivery company was super helpful and polite as nd helped to bring the boxes to the kitchen as I was by me self . Great service

After redecorating I wanted something different other than a photograph. This wall hanging was perfect. Love it.

Have bought many things from this company. I’ve been really pleased with most things, those not suitable were returned easily at no cost and refunded. Good experience.

I thought buying from this French furniture company and importing to the UK would involve extra customs or some snags due to Brexit ( as have been my experience with some other companies) but delivery was smooth and communication was exceptional. I like the piece and have my eye on some other things now too.

I ordered a cabinet from Maisons du Monde. After 3 weeks it had failed to arrive. I received no communication from the company. On tracking on line it gave a broad sate range. No hours were received. My email to customer service went unanswered. I called and spoke to someone who said there had been a problem with transportation and they would re-order! After 3 weeks! Unfortunately too late for my purpose, but guess what? Refunds take 14 days to process apparently, after having my money already for 3 weeks. Very disappointed with this poor service from MdM.

Ordered from this company on 3rd January, duly paid and was given estimated delivery date between Monday 16 and Tuesday 24/01 by PANTHER GROUP.
In anticipation I called yesterday 23rd Jan as I had not received any contact from Panther confirming my delivery. I was told to wait until tomorrow 24th, and if no email to call back. So today comes without any email so I call back. It was only at this point that the customer service rep finally checks my order and informs me that mine was one of the many orders not received by Panther and the only option is to reorder. Now considering that they have had my money since the 3rd Jan, and the fact that this was due to an issue on their side, I was expecting an expedited delivery, express or something, but no, the response was well we can’t do much about this and you will just have to wait for between 8-14 days until the replacement order arrives. At this my comment was, I can send a parcel to the US in two days so can’t this be delivered sooner, but she kept to the script and informed me nothing more can be done. I asked for the complaints process and was told she would email it, what did I get instead, an email saying we are sorry your order was incomplete no mention of complaints procedures. Anyway, needless to say this was, and will be, my first and last order to this company, not impressed at all!!

If I could give this company any lower than 1 star I would. Took £700 and never delivered a thing. When I asked for a refund they tried to refund the products only and not the £30 delivery. Clearly a business model set up to make money from interest on payments held over a few months and to try and keep delivery payments. Visa my next step.

Do not use this company. I purchased a Goa 4 poster bed, through their Italian site as I'm in Italy. The first bed arrived with no screw's or fittings. They subsequently sent a replacement bed which just arrived. Again, no screw's or fittings . So it's completely useless. For over €600 . I've already wasted nearly 1 month waiting. Not sure what to do now as I have no confidence in this company.

The tableware that I ordered arrived with the majority of the order broken. Maison du Monde agreed to send out replacements, however those also arrived with a lot of the items broken. The delivery company they used was atrocious as they were rude on arrival and accidentally left a 4 minute voicemail of the two drivers complaining about the company. It was then a nightmare to arrange the return as they kept treating these as two separate orders and I have yet to receive a full refund despite submitting multiple photos of damaged items (the company requires 4 photos per order as proof). Avoid this company at all costs as they are completely incompetent!

I was disappointed with the experience. Firstly unit was missing two vital parts to allow the desk to fall down, the holes for handles are wonky and part of it was bashed. It’s not like it’s cheap furniture.

Their solution was to go to a diy store to get missing bits and offered me a store voucher - how does that work? So I pay money to another store out of my own pocket because you’ve not given me money to buy this? Then if I buy something else from you with this voucher I have to pay more because I would have to get it delivered? The other solution was to replace the unit…but I’d already waited ages for it and like normal people do had constructed the thing and saw it was the last bits that were missing. But offered to replace it might I add. Not a return and refund. Bad service from an expensive store.

The baubles were beautiful, arrived within the timescale quotes, well packaged and I damaged.

Very high quality product. I love it. My only gripe is that it was delivered whilst I was quite ill. I live alone and it’s very large and heavy. Unpacking the piece alone whilst ill was quite challenging as was getting rid of the packaging. It would have been nice to have the option for help unpack and remove the packaging.

Great product, reasonably priced, thinking of buying another! Also great customer service, even though item was delayed and then i missed a delivery, the team we're more than happy to help, would def recommend this company.

I love the purchase - I would like to order one more to complete my set.
