I can't thank Oliver enough for helping and guiding me through the process of securing a mortgage and a house.
As a non-British national who resides in England and who's had little to no prior knowledge of buying a home, my experience has been excellent. Oliver guided me from the early stages of viewing properties and understanding mortgages and conveyancing to finalising the process of buying my first home.

Where do I start? Being first time buyers myself and my partner were incredibly apprehensive about the house buying process. I stumbled on major money matter by chance and in all honesty these people where a god send . Oliver was amazing he put our nerves to rest and talked us through every step of the process it was incredibly reassuring! The millions of questions we both had Oliver answered with patience and kindness. We couldn’t have done or even started this process without major money matters and Oliver! You’ve been amazing .

I was put in touch with Billy before my other half and I even started viewing properties. Going into the unknown as first time buyers was very overwhelming. I phoned Billy for a brief chat and from that first phone call, there was no way i was even going to bother with another person/company. The advice and service he/they gave us from start to finish was second to none. Our application went to audit and Nationwide were being absolute pains. He chased them down tirelessly as they delayed the process by about 8/9 weeks. We finally pulled the plug with Nationwide and within 2 days, he had everything wrapped up and signed with Halifax. We exchanged and completed 2 weeks later. Billy, Emma and Major Money are first class and would recommend anybody in the same situation as us to use them. They even put all our insurances in place such as life insurance, income protections and buildings/contents. Emma was also a massive help, keeping us up to date right to the final stages of the process. They definitely made the process as smooth as possible. Great People, Great Company. No need to go anywhere else. We are now home owners and we couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks Again.

I was recommended Billy and the Major Money Matters team from and friend and what a great recommendation it was! The process from start to finish was smooth and clear. Billy is great at communicating, whenever I needed jargon etc explained to me he was happy to help!
