Avoid at all costs! Dealt with an agent at the Dartford branch who accepted my offer, congratulated me, encouraged me to move forward with submitting my mortgage application (which involves a brokers fee) and sourcing solicitors, only to tell me the next day that a slightly higher offer is now being considered. He played me, wasted my time and almost wasted my money with no remorse! He didn't even bother to call me to stop the process, but casually informed me of this new consideration when I called. Also, the property is still being advertised with no notice of the two offers - contrary to regulation. Worst experience ever.

Horrendous. Couldn’t care less about their tenants in urgent situations like damp in the property after leaks with children under 3 in the property. Communication is non existent after politely requesting to be kept updated. Never felt so uncared for.

Mann Estate agents in Beckenham are second to none. Antony and Liam are both diligent and friendly. They turned my rental offer around within days. This was the smoothest rental process I have ever experienced; after all, I'm a well-seasoned rental tenant.

During a recent bathroom leak on my rented property listed with Mann Countrywide in Canterbury, Hayley and her colleagues followed through every step of the procedure with myself (landlady) and with the tenant. At all times courteous and helpful, she went above and beyond her duties to assist me, keeping in close contact by phone, text and e-mail. I am delighted with the company chosen to do the refurbishing, and with whose work I am very happy. I recommend Mann Countrywide as a reliable, thorough and competent company to assist with all instances concerning renting a property.

Laura and the team at the Locks Heath branch were amazing from start to finish of our purchase. They kept in close contact throughout the whole process of purchasing, moving house is always a stressful process but the team eased that pressure.

The tenancy did not go through. You unlawfully kept my deposit and I want my money back please.

Terrible agent. Accepted an offer from us and played us along. Utterly misleading and dishonest. Avoid. Would never get involved with them again on any property.

Just plain incompetent it seems…we put out home on the market with Mann, Paul Goldsmith to be precise, who came across as a genuine and upfront guy… Then the fun started which immediately made us feel uneasy…the photographs done were ok, but the layout drawings were wrong (from supposedly an architect moonlighting when work was slack, doing pictures for estate agents!). The write-up they did was poor to say the least, so I wrote one and insisted it was put out in place of theirs… Initially they said they had people lining up to view property in our road, but it was almost two weeks before the first viewing…which they insisted doing as ‘that was best’…and asked if we could vacate the property whilst they did the viewings… we had three viewings, and invariably Anne Underwood. who was managing the viewings, was late… we had potential buyers parked outside, us waiting to leave in our car, and all waiting on Anne Underwood…!! She handled two viewings, neither of which made an offer, and Paul Goldsmith handled the first viewing, with the same result… I handled the fourth viewing myself, as I was told by Anne Underwood that she had someone in the area who would like to view, but simply could not handle it…!! So I handled it myself, and guess what, yes I sold my own home… Since this time, having decided to go with Mann’s own ‘Conveyancing Direct’ legal service to handle both the sale and our purchase, it’s been a disaster… almost zero contact, except for an occasional email from the ‘legal team’…not being able to get through in the phone, after being redirected by ‘customer service’, the phone just rings and rings or you are cut off… Having had such poor service I asked Mann at their Rochester office for updates, thinking I was paying them almost 6k for a service, but hardly ever heard from them…so the upshot of that was they simply did not answer emails, or when phoning, they were all so incredibly busy, no one was available to talk to you…except for Ben…who I must admit was always polite in the phone…I was advised (warned) by another estate agent that Mann’s were poor, but just took this as professional rivalry…I now wish I had listened to him… I WOUOD NOT RECOMMEND MANN COUNTRYWIDE TO ANYONE, EITHER FOR SELLING YOUR PROPERTY (OR BUYING INLESS THEY ARE THE SOLE AGENTS AND ITS THE HOME FOR YOU)…AND DO NOT USE CONVEYANCING DIRECT, WHICH IS THE ‘COUNTRYWIDE’ GROUPS IN-HOUSE l PROPERTY CONVEYANCERS…THEY ARE, HOW CAN I SAY IT, JUST PLAIN USELESS…AND ALMOST COMPLETELY NON-CONTACTABLE, AND DO NOT RETURN CALLS OR CALL YOU EVEN WHEN THEY SAY THEY NEED TO SPEAK TO YOU, SO BEWARNED…!!

Might be worst possible viewing experience I’ve ever had, was told to come an hour early and then had to wait outside for 40 mins while someone from the office called Charlie called me to tell me the person carrying out the viewing was still going to be late and was so unprofessional on the phone “because it’s not poor Ben’s fault he was late”.
