Incompetent and ignorant .. how stupid were we to trust this company (Rochester/Strood) to act as our selling agent. They did not have the knowledge to market our property because it is unusual. They have cost us tens of thousands of pounds. We have a buyer through another agent but are getting far below the market value because of this terrible agent. Don’t touch, they don’t deserve your business.

Literally have never ever experienced service like this before. Avoid like the plague - incompetent, rude, unprofessional and probably illegal some of the ways they practice. AVOID!!!!

Terrible management from The Chatham branch of Mann Countrywide lettings. Could not get any response from them for over a year of moving into the property and eventually had to write to the landlord directly. Luckily we have a great landlord and he also agreed the management from this company was awful. Unsure as to why they are charging the landlord a management fee when they do not manage the property at all and are taking the money from the landlord to basically receive rent from us each month. Terrible customer service and have again been waiting almost 2 weeks for a call back regarding maintenance issues reported.
As a property manager myself I understand the job fully and there is no excuse for this terrible service. Would not recommend this company to any landlords/tenants.

Canterbury branch of Mann is hopeless. I used them as a landlord and their full management service was shambolic. Their checkout process failed to point out problems which my new tenant spotted immediately and needed me to pay to fix as the deposit had already been released. Worse yet, their rent and legal protection insurance failed to pay out rent arrears when my tenant stopped paying rent as they changed the contract during the tenancy to wriggle out of it.

I lost so much money using these guys and recommend you avoid them if you’re a landlord.

Crooked or incompetent, it’s hard to say, and maybe both. Just don’t.

If I could give them no stars I would. They are a terrible company. I have been living in a rental flat with mould growing that was proven to be due to the lack of heating in the property yet they have offered no apology and didn’t care that we were freezing during the winter months

I raised a complaint with there property manager Susan. Provided everything they requested with the complaint and she come back with an abusive email to myself. Better yet we approached the tenants the morning for a THIRD TIME regarding the issue and they refused to speak to us as they had been forwarded on my email from Susan when I made the complaint. That email had my phone number and my email address on it which I never gave permission for them to hand out. Let’s hope when connells fully take control and combine the companies they get rid of staff members like this.

Greedy dishonest people. Couldn’t sell my property for a year. But after canceling my contract and selling privately they send me a bill saying that I’m liable to pay there fee as I sold too quickly after therefore must have negotiated whilst still in contract. Beware! Complained to property ombudsman

Absolutely shocking. Moved into a property during covid which was a rental. Wasn't able to view prior and told that all was newly decorated in line with video and photos provided. Turned up to what I can only describe as a squat. Hadn't been cleaned, marks on all the walls, wasn't the same as the pictures or video. We were not happy moving in as we had been misled and they tried to charge us 800 pound to re advertise (using the same misleading adverts) and changed their mind when we threatened to share the actual photos of the property. Still owe us £184. Would rather sleep rough than pay these low lives money

I have been impressed with the professional service I have received

Dreadful service, cancelled a viewing 10 minutes before the time! They had been told 2 days before that the owner was going elsewhere and I don't blame him as the floorplan was incorrect and made up a utility room that was actually a garden. They also lied and said he had rented the property out when in fact he had left them for a better estate agents. Will never use again.

Avoid at all costs, if I had not had the foresight to check the boiler before I turned it on in the property I had just moved in to. There would be 3 dead people. The staff are awful with little knowledge and simply bump you from department to department

I phoned today to book a viewing, I spoke to a girl named Amelia and was outraged by her tone and general lack of knowledge. If they can’t even check that their staff can speak correct English then I have no confidence in this company.

Brilliant service from the Gillingham branch, we put our house on the market in March 2020 and we sold with the first viewing.

Richard took us through processes accurately, he is a great communicator and constantly chased up with our solicitors for responses, he is lovely to talk to and will get a job done.

During the last final 2 months of our move Denice assisted us, she is absolutely lovely, very informative and chased our solicitors for us constantly,I felt really at ease with her.

Honestly if you want a nice trusted agent go to Mann and Co Gillingham

The whole process from the sales pitch, to the final sale was smooth , stress free and all at MANN & CO Ashford Kent were excellent, catered to my every need and was always there for support and advice, if I ever move again I would not hesitate to use MANN, well done Maria , Mia and Brandon... Credit to the industry

Mann & Co, Gosport - Awful Experience
Purchase aborted due to rear garden boundary dispute, of which the neighbouring houses have moved the boundary of 23 Sunbeam Way, Gosport.
Back door keys missing on viewings, so unable to see boundary problem until financially committed, underhanded transaction!
Mann & Co extremely unhelpful.

Do not ask your property for letting in Woolwich arsenal branch. I choose this company the reason why my property is very near by. However this company's especially, Local branch's service is not unacceptable. I feel like most of Woolwich staffs are arrogant, irresponsible, unpleasant.
This company is quite big and has multiple departments looking after task so that's why I tired to contact every department , I had to contact numerous times.
moreover, The person in charge changed several time without any taken over, so I had to explain whenever the staff changed.
I has got lots of frustration to contact them, when I emailed or called, they response few days later or nothing.
Now I ended up with this company, finally!!
Anyway, I put on a STAR but if there are minus star, I would put more than I could do.
Do not consider Mann countrywide Woolwich Arsenal branch.

I have just exchanged on my property purchased through Mann and Co Gosport. I have been extremely impressed with the service received, brilliant communication especially from Sian the Sales Progressor, always going above and beyond unlike the other Agents within the chain. Very impressed and would strongly recommend

Please do not even consider using Mann Countrywide for your property. Mine was completely trashed by a tenant with Mann Countrywide supposedly acting as my managing agents. Even worse, I found that the guarantor, accepted by Mann was an Irish citizen, so I can’t sue for repairs. They are without doubt the most ineffective, uncaring and unprofessional company I’ve ever had the misfortune to work with. Stay clear!

The sale price was below my instructions and I was told the purchaser was a cash buyer. This was used as a negotiating ploy against me. I was told the buyer was applying for a mortgage by another Estate Agency. Mann admitted this was the case.Be careful of fast talking salepersons.
