I bought my first property with Manning Stainton in Headingley with Hannah Lund acting as the sales negotiator. My experience was quite straightforward and Hannah was always pleasant to deal with. As the sale progressed through the latter stages, we communicated fairly regularly to ensure that we were both up to date on the situation. I dealt with other staff in the office on occasion who were pleasant to deal with and helpful.

I had dealings with Manning Stainton in relation to a property previously and found them to be helpful then so I was happy when the property I have now bought came up for sale with Manning Stainton.

Hannah kept in touch with me regularly throughout the sale period and liaised well between myself and the buyer. Her manner always friendly, cheerful and professional. No snags along the way and the whole selling process has felt smooth and efficient.

Overall the experience of using Manning Stainton as an estate agent was positive. During the buying/selling process the level of knowledge and detail staff had about the houses was very variable - some were very attentive, others seemed a bit clueless. The solicitors recommended by Manning Stainton were awful. However, Charlotte Poutney as the Move Manager was wonderful and did a great job of managing the chain and keeping everyone calm and in communication with each other. She was excellent.

I bought my first home with Manning Stainton and although it was a long process (no fault of the estate agents) my move manager Charlotte Poutney was helpful, reassuring and proactive. Charlotte helped explain things about the house buying process I didn’t understand and kept strong communication with myself throughout the process. When people in the chain dropped out Charlotte was reassuring and helped to insure all issues were resolved as quickly as possible. If I ever move again I will be calling Charlotte right away !
