Manualslib レビュー

This site is full of pop ups ,very misleading, you think you are paying a penny fee to download your manual but in actual fact you end up subscribing to a 1p free trial and then £29 per month thereafter.

Clicked on Download PDF to download a PDF of a manual and it downloaded a .exe file. Deleted it immediately!

Went to this site looking for a washing machine service manual. I was immediately confronted with pop-ups and the site refused to close. Rebooted the PC and ran Malware Bytes. There were no problems, but the site felt very unsafe. Will not return.

Full of malware. Just spent 30 minutes trying to get a "Your computer has been attacked" message off. This company knows what it is doing and what kind of links it is either selling or operating. Stay away.

Bonjour.

Since a few years i look for my manuals here and almost always find one. Never had any problems browsing (using an adblocker) or downloading on their website. The manuals are complete and correct.

It said I had malware on my computer and it locked my screen. Remember yall, Microsoft would NEVER block out your computers. I managed to get it closed but it freaked me out. I checked my computer and nothing was on it. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

PHISHING SCAM!
Stay far away from this website. I was trying to access a manual for my Singer machine, when this website froze my computer and popped up an intrusive message saying that my computer was infected by a virus. It told me I needed to call Windows Defender. They provided a number that is not Windows Defender. Through Task Manager, I was able to shut Chrome down and ran a scan with McAfee.
Be careful- the message looks like a real Windows message, but it is not. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER. It will "likely redirect you to a scam call center where an agent will either try to infect your computer with malware, steal your personal information, or demand you pay money for fake services." (source: cybernews.com)

I just had a phishing experience on here as well. As we all do not have the same model of machines likely; it seems the phishing links are widespread across the site. Has anyone else reported this to the webmaster for the site? I just did, but I don't expect an answer. Just curious to see if I am the first or if the webmaster knows this is an issue and is simply complicit.

Used this site on and off over the years and unlike other manual sites the downloads are free and always available and correct. Not sure why others warn you about this site but I have never had issues.

This is a useful Site "If" Your VERY CAREFUL!!. Don't be too quick to choose!! There are trick links and I also clicked on a Trojan type link but it was hairless. Makes me wonder "who is monitoring the site for safety" Seems to be unmanned. I clicked some links that don't apply or redirect to an advertiser! But it will say "AD". Somewhere is grayscale.. over all a good resource if you are very careful!!!!!!

I clicked on a link to their site, and I lost control of my keyboard. There was a audible message that told me my computer was infected. I immediately shut down my computer, rebooted, and now I'm running a full scan.

SCAM -- fake virus scam. I don't think it's actually harmful as long as you don't follow the instructions

Went to look for lawnmower manual. After just a few seconds got a popup that said computer was infected, call this number. Did not trigger antivirus program. It's just a scam to try to get you to call the listed number. too bad because this used to be a decent site.

Buyers Beware!! SCAM!!

I was just about to pay £1.49 for a manual for an old Singer sewing machine, which seemed reasonable. Luckily I read their T&Cs, which made me sign up to a £24.70 each month!!

Unless you need manuals regularly for your work, this webpage is a scam. If they were an honest business they would alert you to the £24.70 monthly subscription and not try and fool you with £1.49 for 72 hours!

I found the manual I was searching for free from the manufacturers website a few moments later.

Great platform for searching information about loads of items, from motorcycles to in-car stereo systems etc. Membership is easy and free! Download and save manuals to your own computer, mobile or tablet for use offline anytime anywhere!
