Many interesting items with high prices. One item bought and broke within weeks, despite its high price. Manufactum refused to contemplate refund or replacement until they received photos of the fault... ãã£ãšèŠã

This firm no longer choses to deal with customers in the UK who, prior to Brexit, spent a good deal of money with them, and yet they export to the remotest countries in the world. Perhaps they might reconsider exporting items to the UK?
Part of adress missing, poor packaging, damage and unhelpful Customer Service
Part of adress missing for delivery so 100km to DHL depot...No proper packaging around the porcelaine base lamps ( 3 orderered, 1 broken) and no sealed bag for screws plus( jumping in their corner holed box, some were missing)....Paper around the globes, fortunately... After sending pictures of broken item, pictures of its reference, of its box etc in a very first email to Customer service, waiting for answers etc .., I'm asked for the 3rd time to send reference of "the damaged or missing" etc to Manufactum..Just exhausted by the 3 weeks unsorted venture! I will not order any more. Other eshops send their products. The Manufactum Customer attention is a mirage!

Sheep's Wool Frost Protection Fleece
This product is an expensive waste of resources. And my money. I think the wrapping said it would last 5 years. I have draped it over some borderline hardy plants. It's under no stress, not being pulled or stretched, and it has ripped in several places. I'll be surprised if it lasts 5 weeks. If I'd been foolish enough to put pegs through it or cut holes to allow plants to grow through, thus weakening it further, as shown in the pictures ...

I bought 3 sweaters in two separate orders from Manufactum. Both orders arrived promptly, with tracking, and were well packaged. I sent two of the sweaters back, separately to their UK returns PO Box.
They were both refunded the full amount. One of the refunds took a little longer than expected, and when I queried this by email, the response did take a couple of weeks, so I rang in the meantime and was politely informed the refund was processing. I think that their team is possibly just utterly swamped given the current crisis and is taking a while to get back to email queries.

I ordered 2 amber glass bottles. When they arrived, there was no protective packaging in the parcel, so the items were broken in transit.
I have phoned this company several times and left numerous emails asking for a refund or a replacement. They have ignored all emails and calls. Absolutely horrendous service. You will be much better buying your product from somewhere else.
This company is way beyond incompetent
This company is way beyond totally incompetent. They do not respond to emails and phoning them is a waste of time because either they do not answer or if they do their responses are totally inadequate. I ordered 3 articles, 2 of the pieces I ordered were to get the order above a certain minimum amount required for any order. They delivered the two articles I ordered merely to get the item I wanted, but that piece they did not send? Did I mention that tracking numbers they e-mailed did not work?
Unsatisfactory
I have ordered expensive dining chairs from this company about two months ago, and still awaiting delivery. I am becoming increasingly concerned that I am now receiving no replies to my emails either.
Excellent service and no complaints
I ordered a large garden planter from Manufactum on Monday and received it this morning - dispatched and delivered from Germany to London in under 4 days! This is my second positive experience so Iâm hoping the company is back to near-normal after lockdown impacts. Such interesting high quality goods and I could not be happier with my garden pot and the excellent service. Thanks to the team at Manufactum.

Ordered an item on 6/7/20. No response to phone calls - phone appears to be disconnected.No response to emails. Tried email again today but bounced back as being undeliverable.
Refunded and cancelled without telling me
Ordered an item, they took the money after 2 weeks of ordering, then refunded it 2 more weeks later. No emails other then my order confirmation, tried to contact them on email with no reply. Tried to phone them on both their numbers, one which just doesnt ring and the other is to leave a message but noone ever gets back to you.

Order 2 items but returned 1 via recorderd post. Not had any response or refund and it's been more than 2 weeks. Tried to call them, emailed several times, no complaints department email available. Terrible company unfortunately, despite the website being quite nice.
MANUFACTUM'S customer service is terrible
Manufactum's store in Cologne is truly wonderful, but their website and their customer service is shockingly bad, or should I correctly say there is NO customer service at all. After emailing Manufactum's customer service 4 times over a period of 3 weeks I received no response. So I then called their customer service phone number in Germany. I got a recorded message that stated please call back during the hours when we are open, but please leave a message now and we will return your call. So I left 2 messages over a week. Still I received no response. I live in the USA so I am 9 hours behind Germany and since Manufactum's customer service opens at 10am in Germany that is 1am in the morning for me. So I set my alarm for 1am and called Customer service during their "open hours". Still, nobody answered the phone and I got a different recorded message telling me to leave another message, so I did. Still no response. So then I called the store in Cologne, Germany. Now it was 1:30 in the morning for me. I spoke with a sales clerk in the store, she asked for my phone number and promised me that someone would definitely call me back within the next 1 to 2 hours. So, I stayed awake until 3:30 in the morning waiting for Manufactum's call. Guess what, there was no phone call. Still no email and no phone call, nothing at all. Manufactum the store is incredible. It is filled with an imaginative, carefully curated collection of unusual beautifully crafted items. Manufactum the website is a disaster. Don't order from them, you will be bitterly disappointed.
Stay Away
I have two outstanding orders and I am not getting any response to either email or voice mail. Their customer service telephone line no longer works so I can only assume this business has ceased trading. My recommendation is to look elsewhere.

One message stated it would be shipped on the 23rd April.
It did not arrive as promised (and paid for).
TWO emails sent to manufactum were IGNORED.
Goods finally arrived today, 20th May 2020, long after the job it was bought for was finished.
I will NEVER use this company again and suggest you do not bother either!

No customer service. Actually, no service whatsoever. They donât reply to emails, they donât answer the phone. And they donât deliver what has been paid for.

For a company that likes to take the high ground when describing products and product benefits, I am totally shocked at their lack of any kind of customer service! Don't respond, don't answer the phone, nothing at all. So now I am only left with legal channels to get an answer as to where my order is. I do know where my money has gone, however!!!!!!!!!!!!
