I am so disappointed in the quality lately. I bought a dress that started falling apart at the seams after just two washes. For a premium Finnish brand, this is embarrassing. Customer service was unhelpful and refused a refund, claiming it was 'normal wear.' I expected better
Amazing quality and customer service
Almost all my crockery is from Marimekko and itâs honestly such good quality - the printed plates still look new more than ten years on. I recently smashed a part of a teapot that Iâve had for several years - that was a gift so I couldnât produce any receipts for - - and they went above and beyond to replace it. This is the sort of gesture that really instils brand loyalty! I have a couple of bags from there too and theyâre beautifully designed and made.

Gjorde en order för en produkt, vid checkout så får jag felmeddelande vid betalning och att jag ska prova igen, vilket jag gör. Byter sen betalningsmetod och köpet går igenom, får bokningsbekrÀftelse etc. Får sen ytterligare två bokningsbekrÀftelser med separata ordernummer. Kontaktar kundservice DIREKT och ber dem att det har blivit nåt fel från deras sida och att de extra ordrarna ska avbokas. Morgonen efter får jag leveransbekrÀftelse på alla tre ordrarna... KundtjÀnst vÀgrar se problemet, sÀger att det Àr mitt fel trots att de bekrÀftat att de haft problem med swish-betalningar. Tjafsar med otaliga personer på kundtjÀnst men ingen visar nån som helst förståelse och ingen försöker hitta nån som helst lösning. NÀr paketen redan Àr i Sverige återkallar de till slut paketen men vÀgrar återbetala de felaktiga ordrarna. Jag menar att de behöver betala tillbaka ASAP och inte nÀr de fått tillbaka paketen då det Àr de som gjort fel, inte jag, men de vÀgrar att ens svara nÀr jag påpekar det utan sÀger bara att kundtjÀnst inte kan göra nåt nÀr ordrarna har gått till lagret vilket jag menar Àr bullshit, kan inte de göra nåt så kan de kontakta nån som kan. Och helt plötsligt kunde de ju kontakta kuriren och avbryta leveransen så de ljuger ju om vad de kan/inte kan göra. De ignorerar fortfarande att svara ang återbetalningen dock. Så besviken, hade högre tankar om ett företag som Marimekko. Kommer inte återvÀnda som kund

My parcel was marked âdeliveredâ but went to a random pickup shop and a stranger signed for it. I never chose a pickup point. Customer service checked my details, then pushed me to chase the courier myself. The return portal link they sent didnât work either. When I asked for help, they repeated that it was the courierâs problem. Thatâs not good enough. I bought from the retailer, so the retailer should sort misdelivery with the carrier, investigate, and resolve. No ownership. No proactive support. No solution offered beyond âcontact UPS.â I asked for a refund or a proper replacement. Still waiting for a real fix. Poor process and poorer attitude. Buyer is left doing the legwork while the seller shrugs. Not recommended.

come scritto qualche giorno fa, si tratta di una truffa. Usano il marchio e le foto dell'azienda ufficiale ma Ú evidente che non si tratta di un sito fake. Il mio pacco risulta consegnato ma non Ú mai stato recapitato. E risultano irraggingibili al servizio clienti.

Ich liebe Marimekko als Marke, ich habe viele verschiedene Produkte zuhause und kann diese prinzipiell jedem empfehlen.
Der Kundenservice ist allerdings unterirdisch!
Bei meiner letzten Bestellung vor 1 Monat habe ich u.a. Servietten in 2 verschiedenen GröÃen bestellt. Die kleinere GröÃe wurde in einer falschen Farbe geliefert, also habe ich den Kundenservice kontaktiert. Nachdem lÀnger keine Antwort kam, wollte ich die RÃŒcksendezeit nicht verpassen und habe das Produkt retourniert. Das hat auch problemlos geklappt.
Da ich aber immer noch gerne das eigentlich bestellte Produkt haben wollte, habe ich wieder eine Mail geschrieben, dann 2 Wochen spÀter wieder eine. Keine Reaktion. Heute habe ich den englischen Service angerufen und dort hieà es dann, dass keinerlei Mail bei ihnen eingegangen seien, ich hÀtte also nichts geschrieben.
Als einzige Lösung hatte die Dame nur den Vorschlag parat, dass ich eine neue Bestellung machen soll, natÌrlich ohne den Rabatt und mit Versandkosten. Ich hÀtte das falsche Produkt nicht retournieren dÌrfen, sondern zuerst den Kundenservice kontaktieren sollen! Kann man sich nicht ausdenken.
Dann meinte sie 2x wÀhrend des Telefonats, dass sie davon Ìberzeugt ist, dass sie das richtige Produkt gesendet haben und es nur anders aussah als auf dem Bildschirm und ich das nicht richtig gesehen hÀtte und das falsche bestellt hÀtte. Das ist richtig unverschÀmt, zumal ich ein Foto des Etiketts mit der falschen Farbbezeichnung habe. Interessierte sie aber nicht.
Fazit: Die Produkte sind super, der Kundenservice ist unterirdisch.

The Marimekko backpack (âEverythingâ) was delivered on time, and the design looks nice (with the exception of the oversized and somewhat tacky Marimekko label on the keychain).
However, the laptop doesnât fit properly in the "laptop compartment", the magnetic closures donât hold securelyâso you risk losing itemsâand the mechanism for opening and tightening the bag is stiff and difficult to use.
When the backpack is filled, the top flap doesnât fully cover the opening, and the straps donât hold the weight properlyâthey loosen completely under load. Also the shoulder straps are made of a slippery material, which causes them to slide off your shoulders easily.
You also canât fully pack the backpack, because if you do, it becomes impossible to closeâthe top flap is simply too small.
While the backpack looks stylish, it seems clear that it hasnât been properly tested in real use.

I wish, wish, wish I had read the Trustpilot reviews prior to my online purchase from Marimekko. As the company has a relatively high profile for its designs and is so well-known, I did not do so, more fool me. As so many others have said, the problem is with customer service, which is about as poor as it could be. I needed to return the dress Iâd ordered; I followed the instructions on the website and received an email saying I would receive a return label âwithin a few daysâ. These few days stretched to a week, during which time I phoned twice and emailed. The agents I spoke to on the phone were either utterly clueless or being given very clear instructions to be as unhelpful as possible. Nobody could explain why a website, in 2025, could not produce a return label almost instantaneously as so many other companies do. Additionally, DHL, Marimekkoâs delivery partner, sent both a QR code that didnât work and had a website failure. Possibly not Marimekkoâs fault, but it added to the frustration as I then had to wait in for a parcel collection. I do acknowledge that the return was quickly processed but the experience was such that I will never, ever order again from this company, however lovely their clothes might be. I have also promised myself that I will read Trustpilotâs reviews whenever I want to buy from a company I have not previously used!
