Thank you Thiru for a powerful training session yesterday. We looked at DOW. The market did exactly what Thiru had predicted - on the hourly chart it made a lower high before selling off further. I have been training with different mentors over the last 3 years and no one has explained things like Thiru. Thank you so much for a new level of understanding the markets.

Having engaged with Master the Markets (MTM) across several tiers—from their Basecamp to their high-ticket Live Trading (~$9,000) and Vedanta (£25,000+) programs—I am sharing this objective review to help others weigh the significant investment required.

The Positive Side
MTM’s core strength lies in their data-driven approach. They provide years of tracked and recorded performance data, which demonstrates that their systematic, end-of-day strategies have a legitimate statistical edge over the long term for those with the patience to execute them.

Key Considerations

The ROI Reality: While the data is solid, consistency in trading is a slow build. Despite the premium price, you likely won’t see a return on investment (ROI) for several years. It takes significant time to master the execution, and the "quick results" often implied are rarely the reality.

Content and Technical Issues: For a program priced over £25,000, the delivery was underwhelming. The Vedanta member area contained outdated and incorrect videos that were not updated. Furthermore, many of the advanced strategies were merely minor variations of those found in their cheaper "Live" program.

Contractual & Administrative Red Flags: Onboarding was handled entirely over the phone, where they took my credit card details directly—details they still hold in their system. I only ever signed an NDA; I never signed a formal contract, nor did I ever see or accept their Terms and Conditions.

Payment Disputes & Pressure: When I attempted to halt monthly payments because the service was not delivering, MTM treated the education as a "sold good" (like a property) rather than a service. Leadership utilized high-pressure guilt tactics to prevent me from stepping out, insisting the full balance was owed despite the service failing to meet expectations.

Prop Firm Limitations: These strategies are not suited for prop firm challenges. The drawdown profiles often clash with strict daily risk parameters. Unless your account allows for at least a 4% daily loss buffer, the system is difficult to sustain in a funded environment.

Mandatory "Lock-in": The strategies rely on a proprietary indicator with a yearly fee of $500–$700 USD. Without this recurring payment, you lose the ability to use the system you paid thousands to learn.

Recommendations
Resist the Pressure: Do not be swayed by assertive selling or guilt-based retention tactics. Start strictly with the Basecamp package to test the logic before committing significant capital.

Protect Your Information: Be extremely cautious of phone-based billing and ensure you have a clear way to remove your financial details from their system.

Compare Alternatives: MTM is significantly overpriced. For a fraction of the cost, educators like Brian Shannon (AVWAP) provide highly effective strategies and daily market summaries that are much easier to follow.

Bottom Line: While MTM offers a data-backed methodology, the combination of high entry costs, outdated material, and a rigid, high-pressure business model makes it a difficult investment to justify.

Been a trader for 6 years now and never have I come across something as remarkable, impressive, comprehensive, & transparent as what Master the Markets (MTM) has on offer. They really are something special. From their outstanding technical indicators to their exceptional customer service and passionate research team, MTM really stands out from others. In a world full of snake-oil salesmen, if you've stumbled upon MTM consider yourself lucky!

The journey to be a successful trader is not easy. There are plenty of options to learn from and follow others who might know a thing or two. But these guys are far and away the most real about what it really takes to succeed, technically and with your emotions and mindset (they share their entire Excel P&L with all their winners and losers for all their strategies going back years - I challenge you to find anyone else who is that transparent and confident!). If you are serious (which means you are willing to spend at least 6-12 months learning - and most likely unlearning - technical and emotional patterns) about your trading, highly recommend to try out the Trader's Basecamp package along with a few months of 1-on-1 coaching. Will help you with any market, instrument or trading style you ultimately use with a first principles approach to technical trading that I haven't honestly seen anywhere else. Best of luck!
