Not impressed with this company, already had a card with them, they offered me a credit limit increase which I tried to accept, I had to go through a request for the increase to which they did a hard credit check on my credit! I am already with them, what are you checking my credit again and dropping my score??

I'll be paying them off the amount I owe them and canceling my card, this company is a clown show, shouldn't be surprised being a TD card.

Never shipped me my card, cannot pay off card due too them never sending me card, contacted many times and told it shipped but never received

I tried and finally succeeded to reported fraudulent charges. It was a nightmare just getting to the fraud helpline. NOT very helpful, then I had to deal with a person named Kenneth whose "English" was very hard to understand. When I told him he was hard to understand he shouted at me that his English was perfect. Why do companies hire people that can't speak understandable English. Kenneth was insulted and hung up on me.
Customer service in this instance was pathetic.

Never use it free interest charge plan. It is a cheat. Ver complicated calculation for the amount due which includes you daily purchase and the so called "FREE Intterest Loan". Horrible experience with them!!!!

Don't sign up with this card or company. They claim that they do balance transfers, but what really happens is they give the balance transfer once to get you to sign up then don't offer it ever again and give u a run around. Don't waist your time.

Awful process obtaining the card in first place, then then wanted to confirm my info again (twice) then i could not activate the card then they wanted to put card on hold and I had not even used it.
Pathetic company really. I will use my AMEX instead.

I had a very difficult experience in dealing and trying to resolve a fraudulent charge on my card which is still going on up until now. The customer service is not the most helpful and contacting the fraud department is a nightmare. I gave one star because there was no option for zero. Never will use any MBNA cards again.

Their interest rate policies are vague and poorly communicated — there’s no proactive notice when you’re slipping into a revolving interest situation. It feels like they count on customers missing fine print rather than helping them stay in control of their finances.

Customer support is equally frustrating. There’s no email address to reach out, no live chat, and no call-back option. Your only choice is to wait on hold forever on a single phone line, and when you finally speak to someone, it’s rarely productive. Even for something that should be simple, you end up going in circles.

They intentionally make paying as difficult & inaccessible as possible to scam money from you.

The free Amazon gift card seems like a great idea, but its not worth the hassle.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. Horrible company that likely knows full well what they are doing.

J'ai eu un compte avec eux, quelques difficultés à faire mes paiements, ils ont envoyé mon compte en recouvrement sans même m'avoir informé par écrit, courriel ou téléphone alors qu'ils avaient toutes ces informations!! Aucune classe et en plus, ils envoient ça a un collecteur qui répond même pas quand on les appelle

MBNA Canada does not support it's client base. It is only concerned with profits. I had a fraud case, provided and fill out the required forms, added documentation, Invoice, Photos of damages. Spoke to claims officer. They simply denied my claim. They stated that photos are not proof of damage and that I had to get a 3rd party expert.. WTF? CS is garbage, Esculated Managers are the same. Zero respect. All they care is their profit margins and closing cases without resolution. I am cancelling my credit card. YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME. EXTREMELY HIGH INTEREST RATES FOR PROFIT MARGINS OFF THE BACKS OF CONSUMERS WITH ZERO PROTECTION.

Bad communication bad service not recommended any more big cheating groups

They’ve locked my card for no apparent reason and I am unable to contact customer service, perpetually on hold

They don't care about customers who have fraud committed against them, especially the elderly. If you know anyone with MBNA credit card, tell them to cancel as soon as possible.

They closed my husbands account without even telling him. His card expired and he didn’t receive his new one in the mail. When he called to inquire, they said the account was closed by MBNA even though all payments were made on time. They couldn’t re-activate the account and told him to re-apply. Screw that …. Bye bye MBNA.

I have been with MBNA for many years and have always paid off my account every month. Last fall, I had a fraud case involving my card for a lot of money and after submitting a fraud claim, MBNA refused me, asking for more information. I have no more information other that my statements that show where the money went and the person we talked to on the phone claimed to be someone else. This is FRAUD and we should be insured for this by MBNA. It'll be time to look for a new credit card company if they treat their customers this way, leaving us on the hook for the money.

They are very slow processing everything, it take about 5 days to see your payment affected your account, the costumer service is -0 not understanda and sometimes rude.
