Perfect service. I had been in a few showroom looking for a new bigger TV and prices varied greatly but no-one gave me a explanation on why the prices varied from £1,000 to £8,000. When I spoke to Tony At McMichaels he went through the difference between them all answering all my pernickety questions

Went to McMichaels in Alloa to buy a much needed new Samsung Microwave Combi Oven which was on deal. Staff were approachable and knowledgeable even after my purchase as I was looking at other potential items for a later purchase ideas.

They were tireless in their efforts to get it to me as soon as possible - the manufacturer was not particularly easy to deal with !

First class service as always. Recently purchased a TV and received the best advice in store. The staff advised us exactly what we needed for fitment for the tv to be wall mounted. The staff in store are so friendly and knowledgeable.

The tv got fitted today and the engineers were absolutely fantastic, again so knowledgeable and very respectful entering our home. They did a wonderful job and are so tidy too. We would highly recommend this company.

I came in to buy a TV. There wasn't any salespeople available but one of their staff helped me look at options, and was very knowledgeable and helpful looking at the different options and we agreed the best fit. They helped load the TV into my car, it took a bit of time to get the space clear but never felt they saw it as an issue. They were also great giving me pointers on the setup since I was happy to do so myself. Once I had got it home and had opened the packaging I was worried that I could damage it by lifting it as it was larger than I realised. On calling them, even though they were booked up in service dept for over a week for install, they popped over to do a basic install (I paid of course) that afternoon. Top star customer support and flexibility from the staff. Would use again.

My wife and I recently visited McMichaels' Sony Centre, Alloa with a view to buying a new Sony television.
The service we received from Tony and his colleague Philip was second to none. Their knowledge of the products on display was incredible. Their approach and patience without ever being 'pushy' was second to none.
After viewing a number of televisions we made our decision to purchase.
Arrangements were then made for installers Ian and James to call and install the TV at a time convenient to my wife and I.
Ian and James arrived on time on the prearranged date and quietly and without any fuss installed the TV and set up the 'settings'.
They then departed, taking with them the small amount of fragments from the installation and all the cardboard box packaging and polystyrene .
Over the years we have purchased a number of televisions and white goods from McMichaels'.
Their prices are always very competitive and service is always first class.
As a package we would highly recommend McMichaels' and their staff for top quality products and excellent personal service.

Absolutely lovely team - placed an order online from London and the team rang me shortly afterwards to check the details of my delivery to make sure it all went smoothly. Great service.

I was looking for a soundbar to compliment my 6-month-old TV. I happened to see one on eBay, however it was for repair or spares. I am not that skilled in electrical repairs. So commenced looking for a new or used example. I discovered as part of the process that the model I was seeking had been discontinued, so thought that my opportunity to secure an unused model was going to be a difficult.

However, an hour looking through a number of sites I found a new model at a very competitive price.
I placed my order, 90 minutes later I had a call and email from Customer Services at McMichael’s. They informed me that the soundbar, was a display model and not a new boxed item. They highlighted there was a small scratch on the subwoofer, which they thought happened during cleaning, they offered to see if they could polish it out before sending. In addition, McMichael’s would offer me and additional warranty and they offered delivery in 48 hours at no additional cost. That clinched the deal for me.

The following day, Thursday, I had a confirmation despatch email from McMichael’s, later the same day the courier company verified they had the parcel and would deliver the next day, some 270 miles away and that they would confirm an hour window for delivery when it was out for delivery.

I did not receive confirmation from the couriers by 11am the next day, checked on the courier’s website to discover the parcel was delayed (This was at the peak incidence of the Omicron variant), I emailed McMichael’s Customer Services to state the parcel had been delayed and as it was Friday, I was not hopeful of a weekend delivery.

The Saturday morning, I received a text from the couriers stating they would deliver that morning. In the afternoon received a call from Customer Services to check that I had received the Soundbar and all was satisfactory. Such great service.

On unwrapping the protective film, I found a pristine box and on opening found it all complete, looking like new. I registered the product with the Manufacturer and the same day had confirmation of the additional warranty.

Overall, it was a very positive personalised experience, despite the delay from the couriers, which was not in the control of McMichael’s. It is clear that they care about their customers.

Despite the distance, McMichael’s will now be my first port of call for TV, Audio & Home Appliances.

Amazing experience, ordered at 2pm on a Friday delivered to my house a couple of hours later in Dundee personally by the shop staff.
So polite and helpful and love my new Sony Bravia Oled TV , can’t believe the difference to my old tv.

I just wanted to express my thanks to the sales man (sorry, I don’t know his name) who helped me the other day when I called looking to see if they had in stock speakers for our Bose soundbar that has proven very difficult to source (even out of stock on the Bose website).

Initially, he didn’t think they had any in stock however he quickly called back to advise that they had some in their Tillicoultry store and helped to facilitate the sale!

We wanted these as a joint birthday present to complete our home cinema set up and we are very pleased with our purchase.

Yet again the staff provided excellent customer service. I didn't read the website properly when ordering my dishwasher, a quick call to the shop the next day and Phil sorted it out over the telephone and didn't treat me like a dizzy blonde 😂.
Installation was a couple of days later and the next morning I discovered a small issue. A phone call to the shop and someone was out within the hour to fix it. The service from all staff is far superior to their bigger competitors. Would highly recommend them.

Fantastic service , called yesterday morning as my washing machine was I repairable had a new machine delivered yesterday afternoon.

Credit where credit is due

I bought a Sony camera about 10 years ago and I have the best pictures I've ever had. Would recommend a Sony to anyone but also buy a telephoto lens for the far away pic's

Purchased a 75” Sony TV from McMichaels and required to have it mounted on lounge wall. In addition 2 other TVs had to be moved around the house. All the moving and setting up was done by Terry and Tony, who were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great job.

A big thank you to the team at McMichaels, in particular Marlyn, who were able to help me with my numerous questions and requests after a couple of other suppliers had let me down when it came to the items I was after.

Their approach to customer support was second to none and I'd not hesitate in recommending or buying from them again the future.

My wife had purchased a Sony camera last year and was delighted with it. In January, we went on a three centre holiday to Victoria Falls in Zambia, Pumba Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape and Cape Town. We returned with 1200 images and have still to put them in to albums! We so enjoyed our holiday, that we have booked again for January 2019. My wife thought that a telephoto lens would be a good idea, so I Googled Sony Scotland and found the Sony Centre in Alloa. I rang and spoke to Jim McMichael and he was very impressive. Having told him what we wanted and the reasons for the telephoto, he told me to leave it with him and he would get back to me.

Fifteen minutes later, he rang me back with three options. I asked him which he would recommend and he told me. That was good enough for me and I also ordered a Sony camera bag. We had a slight delay in processing the order to delivery, because my wife and I were off to Portugal. We agreed a delivery date and two minutes in to the one hour window given by UK Mail, our parcel arrived today. Fantastic service. We had been kept up to speed by Marlyn Jamieson who provides the admin support to Jim and both of them were extremely professional and delightful to deal with.

My wife is thrilled with both camera bag and telephoto lens, so well done Sony, Jim and Marlyn!
