complete rubbish site, profiles unreal and some disappear even when you are in contact, plus they always try to get more money from you when you have subscribed, what for? to boost my profile, im a member thats all it should be! Unfortunately signed up for six months! No way again.

Match has really disappointed me, I reported a member who was harassing me and they didn’t remove him from the system. He was very violent and I reported that. I reported in customer service this:
“A member from match is harassing me, we went on a first date, everything was going ok. In a restaurant, then we started walking and he got my phone number and forced me to delete my match account, I did but it didn’t show that was deleted. Then he got very angry at me, force me to pay him some money from what he paid in our date in the restaurant. I gave him $50 cash, I got home and from then, he’s been bombarding me with so many text very offensives saying that he’s going to create a fake Facebook account saying that bad things about me, and that I have so many disease. I didn’t respond so he was calling me leaving the same insulting messages. I blocked him, then he started calling me from a non-caller ID. Leaving me insulting messages. So I reported all of this and guess what customer service told me? They told me that it will be escalated, and what they sent me was a safety protocol list. Something that I already know. Then I responded, saying that if they don’t do anything about it, like removing from match since he’s a dangerous for the rest of the female there, I will write a bad review so others members will be aware of of how match handles a harassment report, they sent me again the same thing, is going to escalate and if I need something else let them know. They are horrible, with no ethics or take things serious. I don’t recommend this site at all

bad web site. too good to be truth u cant find a match at all. there isnot any matches avail and very few people there. they just push you to subscribe and you cannot find any matches there. waste of money !!

Extremely difficult to navigate this site despite me asking for instructions off their customer services. I get daily notifications of named people looking at my profile and even after clicking on the link provided they don't exist or if they do, they haven't looked at my profile. I also cancelled my membership as soon as I joined nad realised how pathetic it was as a dating site, they withdrew money from my bank account. I fully expect to be ignored in my efforts to get a refund. It's par for the course with Match.com. Useless and a rip off !!

I have had 5 scammers - this site is terrible! I have tried to contact the company about the fakers, but I have received no response. Not one. DO NOT USE THIS SITE.

Horrible customer service. They blame me for their lack of competent billing personnel as I clearly cancelled at the end of my agreement. Thy tried to sneak it in on my credit card, when it was caught and brought up the immediately banned me...be very careful if you use them

Last evening I tried match.com and downloaded app and paid 36$+tax thru credit card...Wishing few minutes inter acting with people....it start asking me buy more points paying large amount. Looks like this match is a scam & some users work for it & start conversations which takes us no where. Dissapointed & deleted my profile after may be 15 minutes. Very bad experience.

I have been a paid Premium member for over eight years. Now they are taking away key services and want me to pay for a "Platinum Membership" to get them back. I already pay $74.99 for three months. They want $26.99 PER WEEK for a Platinum member ship. I am canceling.

I began creating the account. Walked away from my screen, came back and the screen had timed-out and I was logged off. I tried to log in and was blocked.

I reached out to customer services, was told to appeal. The process was ridiculous. They eventually replied denying my appeal and claiming I violated their Terms and Conditions and their Community Guidelines.

I asked them what I specifically did and they replied saying "We consider this matter closed and will not respond to further replies."

I believe this is discrimination because their promotiomal visuals include every ethnicity of women, except mine.

I found the way out of my subscription and contract. While searching I noticed the number of profiles with only one photo and very limited info in profile. I also noticed the same profiles all had no children.
I did reverse image searches using google lens and found lots of these profiles had multiple social media hits using different names.
I reported these to the admin team and followed up with an email using ‘help’ section of settings. I got the usual ignorant apologies, but I kept at them and started sending screenshots of fake profiles as replies to the admin email. I made several complaints about my safety and the company’s crap screening procedures.
After 5 emails I requested to have my profile cancelled and all future subscriptions stopped. Today I got an email saying that as a gesture of goodwill all future subscriptions stopped have been removed. Checked with my bank and they confirmed.
I’M FREE FROM MATCH

Match.com is a total rip off, a scam, a criminal activity. There is no customer service. You have to write to them and they say they will get back to you in 48 hours. I’ve written twice weeks ago and I’ve never heard back. I get emails from them telling me someone is interested and when I go to click on the link to see who is interested, there is nothing. They should be prosecuted for running a scam. Do not waste your time or money on this criminal Enterprise.

Complete trash girls ain't trying to DM me on the site so damn picky never had this issue with any other site honestly it's just as bad as hinge and oddly enough I had better luck on OkCupid where I could actually meet people I might have to travel like to New York or something but people respond they're willing to meet is totally different experience also you can talk to girls on passport mode they're all quick to respond

Det værste skrammel.. på alle punkter.. Søgefunktionen er elendig.. til gængæld kommer der masser af profiler op fra Sverige, efter de har "opgraderet" siden, er det overvejende profiler fra Tyskland som kommer op..

Pure scam, paid account and still could not see matches, extremely unsafe, hard to navigate, not able to delete initial ly uploaded pictures. Force for upgrade for 12 months every turn, terrible site.

Since Jan 1, 2026 it seems like 95+% of the profiles on Match are fake. Easy to spot as they typically have 2 pictures and are all 2:4" tall with no profile info filled out. I reverse image searched a lot of them and reported to Match. Match is clearly allowing this since they do not enforce the minimum character limit for essays for any of these profiles.

In short, stay well clear of this site. Been remodelled in past weeks and its horrendous. Most importantly, try and unsubscribe or just leave, as you cant. We live in a sad world where dating sites have become normal. Most are scams from the outset, but Match supposed to be a trusted leader. Don't be fooled at your cost !

Couldn't access my account. Kept getting an error message saying "please contact our care team". Contact their care team, explain the issue. They ask what the issue is. I explain the issue again. They respond by...asking me what the issue is. I explain again. They respond by asking me....what the issue is...
Back and forth like this, over 10 times.

Still can't log in to my account. Still getting notifications. Can't stop it, can't delete my account. This is one of the worst scam sites I've ever experienced.

I can't cancel my policy, they keep taking money. Do not use this site, its a scam

The % of bogus profiles is huge. People who contact you with the sole purpose of obtaining your info to continue communicating off the Match app. For what reason? Money. Try asking them for a link to their Facebook profile or LinkedIn profile and they’re gone. Or ask for a video call - W-H-O-O-S-H! My best guess is as high as 95% of profiles - catfish. No exaggeration
