I had a very negative experience with MerlinCasino.

I deposited money, claimed their Friday/Saturday bonus and played normally, not exceeding max bet per terms and conditions.
After completing the wagering and winning, I requested a withdrawal of 750eur.

Instead of processing the withdrawal, MerlinCasino cancelled my winnings and only returned my deposit. Their justification was that I allegedly violated bonus terms (Section 11.1) because I did not deposit and wager at least €50 during the week without a bonus.

This requirement was not clearly presented as a mandatory condition for claiming weekend bonuses. I simply used the bonus that was offered and played according to the standard rules.

In their email they even described my activity as “irregular gameplay”, which is a very vague and subjective explanation rather than a clear rule violation.

It seems that the casino allows players to deposit and play, but when a player wins they search for technical interpretations of bonus terms to avoid paying out winnings.

I strongly advise other players to be extremely careful with bonuses on this site.

After raising disputes regarding withheld winnings, my accounts across this casino network were suddenly closed.
The status is now shown as “self-excluded”, despite the fact that I never requested self-exclusion.
At the same time, in direct communication, the casino has accused me of “fraudulent behaviour” and “chargebacks”, but has refused to provide any solid ground explanation or evidence.

The issue for me is that:

The bonus terms state that restricted games are automatically blocked

The restriction was applied only after a withdrawal was requested

I contacted support and asked for clarification and escalation, but after an initial reply, communication stopped.

KYC had already been completed previously and I had withdrawn successfully before, so this experience was disappointing. I would advise other players to be very cautious when using bonuses here and not assume that a playable game will necessarily be accepted later.
