After buying a pair of Merrell walking shoes, I decided to exchange them. Before I wore them, I went back to the store, where Lucy and Phil were incredibly helpful and guided me in picking out a different pair. The Hastings branch is lucky to have such friendly and professional staff. Thank you, team Hastings!

I went into Millets to find my partner some hiking boots. Phil quickly came over to assist. He was very knowledgeable and talked me through lots of different options that would be ideal for my partner. I was in awe of his genuine passion, kindness and extensive product knowledge. I really trusted and valued his opinion. I got the perfect boots and even some socks too. Phil made my experience in Millets easy and enjoyable. Phil provided excellent customer service and is very knowledeable about hiking boots. Thank you very much! The Brasher pair I got are perfect! They feel very comfy and we went through muddy terrain on the weekend in the forest. My feet stayed nice and warm. Also the socks he recommended are great too! If you need advice - ask Phil!

I can truly say that we had an amazing shopping experience today at the Hastings branch. Ethan was truly awesome! He was our main point of contact but We were also assisted by Richard and Sophie.
Ethan asked about what we had planned (Norway in January) and then gave advice that totally made sense.
At no point did we feel rushed or upsold.
This team are why we decided to get everything we needed from the retail outlet and the one item not available there was ordered from the Millets website.
I hope the team see this review so they get the recognition they deserve as true assets to Millets.

Went to buy walking boots for my mother. We were served by Phil who couldn’t have been more helpful and knowledgeable in advising us which boots would be the best choice for her.

Phil’s knowledge was first class and he understood my correct sizing and style of walking boot. The recommendation to try the boot at home for an hour worked as I needed to go back due to my foot expanding at home. Merrels are a great brand for wide feet, great old school service that went a long way.

Always receive a friendly greeting when we enter. The staff are always polite, helpful and have knowledge of the products they sell. The shop floor is tidy and clean.
