Popped into Millets Middlesbrough I needed a Pac A Mac
Two male members of staff were alerted to a group of shoplifters that were about - but tho they were keeping their eyes peeled regarding the security they sorted me out -

Called in today with my son who needed things for his upcoming Duke of Edinburgh expedition. Jonny served us and his customer service skills were second to none. He was extremely helpful in helping us choose everything from the list provided by school, and he is obviously very knowledgeable, assisting in helping us decide on the important things needed for the trip. We left the shop happy and with everything we needed. Thank you Jonny! 5 stars 😊

Called in today (22/6/23) to buy a replacement peaked cap for my walking. Was served by both Jonny and Sam. I found both staff members to be very polite, professional and helpful. On top of that the product I bought was of great quality and came at an affordable price. Thank you.

When going in to the millets shop in Middlesbrough i was greeted with friendly staff (Jonny) that really helped me get exactly what i was looking for and also given me advice on other things that i was looking for all in all better than shopping on line

Was greeted at the door with a smile by Joe. Excellent service no fault could be found. Joe helped me with all my questions about gift cards.

Attended the store for a tent upgrade and few bits, staff were approachable and friendly. I was able to get the right products at the right price, delivery within a few days for one bundle and the next day for another.

Yesterday evening we went to Karak Chai in Middlesbrough, we've heard all the hype about it lately so ofcourse we also had to go and check it out..

Okay so there's hype, with very good reason. 👏
Let's start with the exterior, this new restaurant is where the banana leaf used to be at the bottom of Linthrope Road, it looks absolutely stunning outside and definitely stands out amongst the other buildings on the road.

Immediately upon entering, we were acknowledged and welcomed in with a friendly and warm smile. We chose to sit right next to their cascading water display which is very spectacular to watch whilst dining. The whole decor is beautiful and modern and elegant!

'Maz' approached our table immediately and provided us with menus and made sure we knew where he was should we have any questions regarding the menu etc, he gave us the right amount of time to decide and was very helpful in answering our questions with regards to recommendations. The whole time he displayed a smile with very professional and friendly manners that we were very happy to be in his presence as new customers.

We decided to get 'Karachi Biryani' which is a colourful spicy chicken and rice dish and we also got 'Chasi Karahi' which is a lightly spiced chicken curry with roti. We also tried the Chicken Tikka and Lamb Parata Rolls (but ate them before we took a picture lol).

The food tasted as beautiful as it looked!! It arrived hot and was very aromatic and arrived in really good time, we thoroughly enjoyed it!! Maz ensured we were well attended to and didn't leave a stone unturned. His service was outstanding.

We finished the food and a gentleman called Mohsin came over to ask if he could take the empty plates away and if we needed anything, to our suprise this was the brand owner of all 4 sites! He was super professional and super friendly, he had the most beautiful approach to his customers and even gave us his time in explaining his story to success and the story behind Karak Chai. We really appreciated this and appreciated his efforts with us as it was a very refreshing experience to be able to speak to the man behind the big brand himself!

Overall 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back, the service was outstanding from all of the team and the food is definitely worth coming back for!

Served by James this afternoon. Very friendly attitude and provided helpful advice, without being pushy. Didn't feel pressured into buying something I didn't need.

In the shop 10 minutes- knew what I wanted in walking boots. Bought Merrell MOAB3 - Gore-Tex boots - great price (less expensive than Amazon) - staff were very helpful. Served by Joe. Would certainly shop at Millets again. Thanks, and the boots are great.

Always receive excellent service from the staff in this branch. Special mention to James who was extremely helpful on this visit.

Lovely staff, great shop which is well laid out.

My youngest is very small for his age he is a cub soon to be Scout. We have had real trouble finding a backpack to fit his needs but also be usable due to his small height. Jack was very patient and took time to explain to him about the different backpacks. When we settled on a suitable one he then showed us how to set the backpack to fit him the best. He left a very happy cub.

Excellent service as always. Friendly staff always happy to advise and no pressure. A happy customer.
