Wonderful Jordan itinerary. Listened to our requests to balance culture with hiking and absolutely delivered what we had asked for. High quality guides and permanent driver enabled us to get the most out of the trips whilst making it stress free. Highly recommended!

Millis Potter organised a “highlights of Jordan” tour for us and we were hugely impressed with every element of the trip. They listened to all our requests in tailor-making the perfect trip for us and we were delighted with the final result. From the moment we arrived at Amman airport until we flew home, we were taken care of and nothing was too much trouble. The organisation was faultless. Our designated driver for the trip was incredibly obliging and he went above and beyond, to make sure our time in Jordan was perfect. Our guided tours of Jerash and Petra were fascinating and our night at Memories camp in Wadi Rum was incredible. The camel ride at sunset was a definite highlight. We wouldn’t hesitate to organise another trip with Millis Potter, and recommend them to our friends and family. First class service!

Marcus organised the perfect 13 day holiday for us in Nepal with 7 days trekking in the Annapurna foothills. All the travel and transfer arrangements went without a hitch and the hotels which he recommended were superb.
We found it reassuring to be able to discuss our plans with someone who had actually travelled in the area and who was able to advise us and improve on our original plan including finding flights from Newcastle rather than Edinburgh which were a considerable cost saving.
Basu was an excellent guide in Katmandhu . He had extensive knowledge of the local history and a very good command of English. Basu was able to alter the original plan to suit our request visit the Garden of Dreams.
We stayed in the Inn at Patan which is over 100 years old and has been beautifully restored. It was a haven of peace and the perfect place to recover after our journey from the UK before our 7 day trek in the Annapurna area. We had a suite, (room7) overlooking the courtyard, which was spacious with seating area and a small dining table and chairs. Great food.
While trekking we used the Ker & Downy Lodges which exceeded our expectations. The cheery staff could not have been more helpful. The food was varied and plentiful and at all the lodges the chefs were able to accommodate (with prior notice when we booked) my wife’s intolerance to wheat.
Special thanks to our guide Ruk and porter MB No1 without whom the trek would not have been the most enjoyable holiday we have had. Ruk was a great ambassador for Nepal and the mountains. From our conversations it was clear he had read widely and also had an in depth knowledge of the local area and customs and a dry sense of humour which had us guessing about a couple of the stories which he recounted! MB, the porter, despite his stature was not fazed by what seemed to be a large load. On the third day at Granduk he led us through the woods up a hill behind the lodge in search or rhododendrons and although we were early in the season we did see a few trees in full bloom.
The Temple Tree in Pokhara was ideal for a one night stopover. There was an extensive buffet breakfast and the food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. We both had a trekkers massage in the spa which covered the whole body but on reflection a massage concentrating on the legs would have been sufficient.
The club Himalaya was situated on the top of a ridge with extensive views of the mountains from various terraces and the shower room! The deluxe rooms in the new block were spacious and well-appointed with a balcony overlooking the mountains.
If you have a long stopover in Dubai we would certainly recommend the Dubai International Terminal Hotel, although expensive, it was well worth it.
Advice to those flying out of Kathmandu. – The catering facilities are basic, one café, and non-existent airside.
Flight to Pokhara with Yetti Air: Ask for right hand side going out and left on return to have a view of the mountains.

Excellent trip to South India. Our route was carefully planned, all went without problem, the local representatives were always at hand and keen to do their very best for us, which resulted in a really enjoyable trip to Tamil Nadu and Kerala. We had a great time in a fascinating place. Thank you!!

Marcus was brilliant, he listened to what we wanted, and tailored a program that fulfilled it perfectly (and within budget!). On the ground the staff, accomodation, and organisation were incredible. Our driver was amazing, not only getting us safely to every point on time but also suggesting things to see, that we would otherwise have missed. We were met at the airport and looked after for the entirety of our stay, the help at the airport when we left was especially appreciated. It is rare that I offer anyone 5 stars, it takes a great deal to impress me, but Millis Potter Travel managed to do so and then some.

In March, Millis Potter provided us with one of the most enjoyable travel experiences ever. Marcus should be congratulated on providing to none service. Our visits to Dehli, Agra, Jaipur and the Maldives were marked with superior accommodations, spectacular sights and representatives who stopped at nothing to see that our needs were met. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Our recent experience exceeded our expectations. We found a suitable tour of Kerala with Millis Potter on line and contacted Marcus who arranged everything to create a specific itinerary to suit us. He also organised our flights and visas effortlessly. The service we received was efficient and professional and this continued throughout the tour. Everyone we encountered, tour guides, drivers, hospitality staff etc. were exceptional.

Wonderful itinerary put together, that met all our requests. We wanted to travel and experience Kerala but wanted a pace that felt relaxing and unrushed. Our Driver, Shaiju, was great, he made us feel welcome, looked after, and safe. Standard of the hotels was excellent and all excursions arranged as part of the itinerary were fantastic. Would recommend MillisPotter and travel with them again.

We had the most amazing trip to Kerala & The Maldives organised by Marcus at Millis Potter - everything was perfect from the hotels, activities, transfers and lovely drivers in India, I would definitely book through them again! Thank you!

The service from Millis Potter was excellent. From planning our holiday to supporting us while we were away the attention to detail was superb. The staff in India were polite, courteous and knowledgeable. We would certainly recommend them!

Millie Potter arranged our trip to Sri Lanka perfectly, paying close attention to our brief. The selection of accommodation in small, atmospheric hotels with highly personalised service was great. The driver-guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. We especially enjoyed the seaplane flight from a reservoir in the tea district down to the coast and a guided cycle ride round the countryside round Galle. We’ll certainly book our next trip through Millis Potter.

Marcus arranged a great tour for us and put up with all our changes before we arrived at the final version.
He introduced us to Story Trails in Chennai and Pondicherry who were amazing guides and story tellers and in Calcutta he ensured that my husband got an immersive East India Company experience.
Our drivers were excellent. In South India we kept the same driver who was always on time and looked after us well.

Great service and depth of knowledge lead to a fantastic trip. I couldn’t fault anything and will definitely use the company again for more travel.

Warmly met by highly knowledgeable & courteous MillisPotter staff both during our brief stop-over in New Delhi, and at each stage of our adventure up to the Himalayan foothills, really set this break apart for my wife and I.

Our first stop in Leh to acclimatise allowed a mere glimpse of the local culture and most outstanding landscapes we would see & experience over the next week – initial trepidation quickly turned to sheer exhilaration as we drove across the Kardong-La, 'highest motor-able road in the world', in the safest hands towards the stunning Nubra Valley. Double-humped camel riding, ancient monastery exploring & traditional Ladakhi tea ceremonies with the locals followed over the next few days, before euphoric mountain biking all the way down from the peak of the Warila Pass through beautiful villages to Thiksey Monastery, & our final night staying at the wonderful Stok Palace.

Dinner with the King of Stok in his beautiful residence wrapped up & truly made this trip our most memorable holiday, none of which would have been possible without advice, introductions and all-round exemplary tailoring from Millis Potter. We cannot thank Marcus enough!

It was our first visit to India and we went to Kerala; the accomodation was very good in each resort; the staff very helpful and courteous and we enjoyed the food and culture. We had a lovely driver, Pravels, who was attentive and helpful. Marcus completed our e-visa for us because the process is quite daunting. A very memorable experience of India

Having taken several holidays in India , I wanted something a bit different. Many of the itineraries offered by travel agents on line were formulaic and same-y.
As a result of deep knowledge of the area, Millis Potter came up with wonderful suggestions including the The Kumbh Mela Festival, the largest religious festival on earth.
My husband and I had a fantastic holiday organised by Marcus.
Everything worked out brilliantly and I would recommend

A wonderful tour....great driver ..felt safe always.

Dewalokum is fantastic home stay.....

However November is not a good time to visit Munnar.
Accommodation great but it rained all one day.

Tayliar cottage was a wonderful place.
Staff excellent...Food excellent....did a great vegetable
dish for us.
Could do with some outside seating e.g sunloungers
or hammocks/ deck chairs to sit in the sun.,
However staff kindly carried some chairs from inside for us.
Very helpful

Will return again hopefully
