We are sorry to read your review and would like to clarify that for Norway & Switzerland deliveries, all prices displayed on our website are excluding VAT. Local import fees and customs taxes will need to be paid locally in accordance with your standard import tax rules. This information is mentioned several times on the website including our terms and conditions (accepted upon purchase), to avoid any possible confusion and therefore we cannot accept responsibility for missed details keeping into consideration that this information is also available on your govenment's website and therefore is not related in any way to our sales service.

We always recommend conducting the necessary research and inquiries before placing an order to avoid confusion.

Customer support also provided you with this information and kept you informed of the order's progress from the start. If you do not wish to receive the order, you may reject it when the courier tries to deliver it and we will deduct the corresponding fees in accordance with our terms and conditions and return's policy.

We are sorry to read your review and for any inconvenience.

Your order was placed for three lamps, two of which are in stock and the remaining one had to be manufactured to order, the time frame for this is approximately 12-16 weeks (this is not final delivery date, as we do not guarantee delivery dates since this depends on the courier after the order is shipped from our facilities). We would also like to clarify that there is no refund request for this order as it's been more than 14 days from the moment it was placed, therefore, as mentioned in our terms and conditions, we are unable to cancel it.

During December, factories stop working on orders, additionally, during the period of February to March, the suppliers go on holiday.
If you had a deadline, we alway recommend ordering only the products in stock. As we do not do partial shipments we are able to offer the most cost effective options, however, it is also important to note that we have not charged you for the storage of the products that have been available in our facilities since the order was placed, and most companies and stores charge a fee for this service.

Back on February, customer support contacted you to explain the situation on the Red Sea which is affecting the shipping industry globally and they offered a commercial gesture for the pending product, even though we are not being compensated in any way due to this Force Majeure. Unfortunately, you didn't reply to that email. We recommend you check your spam folder in case you missed the communication.

We are sorry to read your review and would like to clarify that it is essential for every customer to thoroughly inspect their products upon delivery to ensure there has been no damage during transit. We kindly requested your cooperation in this matter 3 years ago before the order was shipped and reminded you of this after it was delivered, to avoid any future inconvenience. Please note this is also included in the Terms and Conditions available on the webpage.

The product you ordered: Eames Style Office Chair EA219 Leather Black was ordered and delivered back in 2023. We have examined the pictures you provided, which shows an incidence with parts of the product (that under normal use and circumstances would not occur), and forwarded it to the relevant department and supplier. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the fault you reported for this item was not caused by faulty production or damage during transit. If this were the case, the issue would have been present from the start (and you would have reported it back in 2023). Instead, it is the result of the use given to the chair. Please keep in mind that products do not break on their own and misuse or wear and tear are never covered by any warranty, not even the ones for the original products.

Kindly note that shipping and collecting products can be costly, therefore, we assure you that we would not have sold an item that is not in good condition, only to receive complaints later. We are ​always happy to assist and provide solutions in accordance with our terms and conditions.

We are surprised to see this review, keeping in consideration that our customer support team has actively contacted you to provide updates for your order. Additionally, you only called us today, outside business hours, but customer support replied to your request for information already. In addition, please note that the order was placed by the end of July; you have the confirmation of this not only with the email you received when the order was placed but also from February 4th, when you contacted us through chat to request an update after receiving the shipping confirmation email.

We recommend once again that you follow the progress of the order directly with the tracking details provided, as the order is in transit to you, and kindly remind you that we have assisted you accordingly from the start. In the previous communications we had with you, we received your complaints about the standard lead time for manufacture for previous orders as well when they were delivered before the lead time was met in a timely manner.

Please also note that if what is being mentioned in this review were true, you wouldn't have placed more orders with us, and we have been receiving orders from you since 2022.

Update: Thank you for updating your review after receiving the product. We are glad to know the delivery was successful and that you are satisfied with the Swan Chair
Wool - Without piping - Light Pebble Grey and hope you enjoy it for many years to come.

We are sorry you felt the necessity to leave this review and would like to clarify that part of your order had to be manufactured to order (usually 12-16 weeks) and you received them before this time frame including a partial refund of the amount paid for the product which was offered as a commercial gesture. We have several emails from our updates team that confirm you received timely updates about the status of your order and were assisted by our customer support team. It is also strange that you decided to complain about the estimated lead time 2 years after the order was delivered.
Regarding the condition of your items, it is essential for customers to inspect products upon delivery to ensure there is no transit damage, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions as well as in the shipping and delivery updates you received. Since these chairs were delivered two years ago and have been in use since then, any manufacturing or transit defects would have been apparent at the time of delivery.

As for the Cesca B32 Side Chair - Ash, we have not received any other complaints for this. We have examined the pictures you provided, and forwarded it to the relevant department and supplier. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the fault you reported for the items was not caused by faulty production or damage during transit. If this were the case, the issue would have been present from the start (and you would have reported it as soon as they were delivered). Instead, it appears to be consistent with wear and tear over the past years.

Kindly note that shipping and collecting products can be costly, therefore, we assure you that we would not have sold an item that is not in good condition, only to receive complaints later. We are more than happy to assist and provide solutions in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Please be assured we will do everything we can to help if there is a problem and we always recommend contacting us directly before posting a review, as we don't have a previous contact attempt or an order with the details provided. We kindly remind you as well that if you are unsatisfied with the order as you mentioned here, you could have rejected it when the courier tried to deliver it or return it.

Update: We have tried to obtain information that helps us identify the order you are referring to, however, you didn't respond nor contact us as requested. Since there is no order linked to the information you provided and our attempts to obtain further details from you were unsuccessful, and this Trustpilot account seems to have been created only to post this review, we consider this review to be false and not based in a genuine experience. Orders do not take 10 months as you mentioned, the estimate for manufacture is 12-16 weeks. If you had received the same products in different colors, you would have contacted us directly to report this or request a return.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

We only sell inspired-by items, kindly note that original products would be much more expensive.

According to the information we have on the system, the time frame of 14 weeks was an estimate for manufacture and the order was delivered back in September, after the courier's local delivery partner finalized the import procedure in your country. A delivery date can only be provided by the courier after the order is shipped from our facilities and it arrives at its destination.

We have only received one email from you on November 4th, with questions about the local fees for Switzerland, there was no mention of what you state in this review. We kindly remind you that in the event that something is out of the ordinary with the product, the same must be reported through email with supporting evidence within the time frame the suppliers and couriers allow for it, (from the moment the order is delivered, you received several updates with the corresponding information including time frames allowed for this). Additionally, if you are unsatisfied with the products, you had the option to return them in line with our returns' policy.

As for the the local fees, please keep in mind that this is not related to our sales service, this is a fee the government in your country charges, it is also clearly displayed in our website: Checkout, FAQ, and Terms and Conditions that for Switzerland and Norway, the recipient will have to pay the local fees. We recommend you check directly with your government to avoid future confusion.
