I have found my experience with my provider extremely helpful and supportive in this menopause journey!

I want to share how grateful I am for the team at Modern Menopause. Advocating for myself to access menopause hormone therapy(MHT) was one of the hardest parts of my healthcare journey. I started researching it at 58, and despite my efforts here in Canada, I often felt dismissed and was sometimes steered toward antidepressants, even though I knew depression wasn't what I was experiencing. I finally began MHT just before turning 59, and after connecting with Modern Menopause about a year ago, the change in my symptoms and my overall quality of life has been profound. Being truly heard and supported after such a long journey has meant more than I can say. It has changed my life for the better, and I'm so thankful.

I reached out to Modern Menopause on the advice of my 2 sisters in England; all 3 of us in our late sixties and part of the cohort who missed out on prescribed HRT because of the misunderstanding of the WHI study. My sisters had been able to access a related clinic in England and strongly advised me to do the same. Both had been prescribed HRT and finding benefits. Although I am older than the recommended age for Modern Menopause I connected with an NP who was open to considering HRT for me. I have significant osteoporosis so there was a clear indication. We considered the pros and cons of treatment and came to a joint decision to proceed. I have yet to have a follow up Dexa scan to follow up the osteoporosis but immediately I benefited from improved sleep. I have had 3 monthly follow up with blood work. The virtual appointments have worked well; I have felt well supported and confident in my care.

My Nurse Practitioner is amazing. They take the time to listen to you and they understand the process of menopause and the challenges it brings. I felt like myself again after starting treatment thanks to my Practitioner.

I think all women should have access to this type of care and there own nurse practitioner they understand much more about women! Cheers Patricia

I can't recommend this service enough. The platform is easy to navigate, and my provider, Karen Cox, is friendly, helpful, and has exactly the depth of knowledge I'd been looking for in menopause support. She takes the time to answer all of my questions, and I never feel rushed or dismissed. I'm finally on an HRT plan that works, and I feel so much better. Highly recommend.

This is the first time, after having visited several doctors and specialists, that I feel heard and understood without minimizing my symptoms or not even acknowledge them. The treatment is very kind and comprehensive.

First time in a long time someone listens, cares and understands. Katie is amazing and the whole process has been informative and easy.

Easier to access then through your GP, waiting years for relief.
Always on time for appointments, respectful, asks the right questions and easy to navigate through the whole process.
Highly recommend if youre suffering and willing to pay to take your health into your own hands.

My initial assessment was wonderful. For the first time I could describe all of the strange, seemingly unrelated symptoms I'd been having without feeling judged or rushed, and she helped them actually make sense. Her approach was balanced and thoughtful — she started me on progesterone and scheduled our follow-up three months out to give it time to work, rather than booking an appointment just for sake of it. I only wish I'd reached out years ago when my perimenopause symptoms first started. Thank you.

I found Modern on a Monday and had a video appointment with Stefanie, NP two days later. She was friendly, easy to talk to, never made me feel rushed. The whole process was organised from the start — the intake questionnaire actually helped me pull my history together before we met, and the appointment ran on time and lasted a full 40 minutes. Within two hours I had a written summary of everything we discussed, including my recommended treatment plan, and the team quickly helped redirect my prescription to my local pharmacy so I could pick it up the next day. It's the best money I've ever spent on myself, and its a real bonus that they're a Canadian, fully clinician-owned menopause clinic. Highly recommend.

J'ai été très déçue avec Modern Menopause. C'est difficile de s'orienter quand vient le temps de choisir une hormonothérapeute à qui faire confiance. Les services au privé sont franchement élevés et on s'attend, en échange à ces frais à un service professionnel et rigoureux. J'avais fais mes recherches au préalable pour travailler avec une hormonothérapeute formée par Mme Sylvie Demers et c'est pour cette raison que j'avais choisi Mme Annie Kim Dupuis.
J'ai eu mon premier rendez vous le 8 juin 2026. Bien qu'un peu éparpillée dans son discours, elle était très sympatique et m'a vite mise à l'aide. Cependant, puisque j'avais eu un LEED au col de l'utérus, elle devait s'informer pour savoir quel traitement me donner. Déjà, je trouvais cela bizarre car ce type de procédure au col de l'utérus est assez commun et comme elle me disait avoir une dizaine d'années d'expérience en hormonothérapie je trouvais ça un peu surprenant. Elle devait me revenir avec les infos et des directives sur la prise de pression et une demande de prises de sang. Elle ne m'a JAMAIS envoyé les documents, AUCUNE nouvelle pendant plus d'un mois !!. Avec Modern Menopause, il n'y a pas de moyen de contacter votre infirmière, vous devez attendre qu'elle vous contacte ou prendre un nouveau rdv à 170$. Je me suis dit qu'elle était peut-être malade, qu'elle était en vacances et avait oublié de me le dire.... Je lui ai remis quand même des documents sur le portail mais je suis encore restées sans nouvelles. (elle est avisée quand des documents sont envoyés via le portail: aucune réponse encore).
Vendredi, j'ai laissé un message chez Modern menopause pour parler à quelqu'un. Après un 2ième message laissé mardi le 13 juillet, quelqu'un m'a rappelé pour me demandé ce qui se passait. J'ai trouvé ça assez ordinaire qu'on me recontacte seulement mardi après un 2ième message... C'est une clinique privée à 170$ la rencontre. J'ai expliqué que je suis sans nouvelle de Mme Dupuis depuis plus d'un mois, sans aucun suivi et que je souhaitais un remboursement, qui m'a été fait.
La personne à qui j'ai parlé m'a dit que j'étais la 2ième cliente qui avait été oubliée par la même infirmière. Je leur ai demandé comment ils gérait leurs infirmières et comment il se faisait qu'il n'y ait pas de meilleur encadrement, que dans le fond, ils ne sont pas au courant des pratiques de leurs infirmières... Ça me semble être une clinique Fast-food qui manque de rigueur et de sérieux.

“My experience with Modern Menopause was very disappointing. Before the appointment, I was asked to complete a lengthy and very personal questionnaire, which I took the time to fill out thoroughly. However, the clinician arrived almost 15 minutes late to the scheduled call.
During the appointment, much of the time was spent going back over the same questionnaire answers, including sensitive personal information, which felt repetitive and not a good use of the session.
What was most frustrating was that the focus of the consultation did not align with why I booked the appointment. I was seeking support for perimenopause and was specifically interested in discussing hormone replacement therapy. Instead, the clinician suggested alternative diagnoses such as endometriosis and depression, and recommended SSRI medication—even after I clearly explained that I had previously tried SSRIs and had a negative experience and was not open to that option.
I also raised concerns about my current family doctor not supporting perimenopause care. Despite this, I was advised to work with the same doctor and seek a referral through them, which I had already explained was not a realistic option for me.
For a service that cost over $300, I left the appointment feeling unheard and without any meaningful support or next steps related to my original concern.
Overall, this was a frustrating experience and not a good value for the cost.”
