Watch out with their 2-day shipping.
Here’s my story: I placed an order with 2-day shipping. After 2 days not receiving the item, I checked on the order status and to my surprise, it says shipping date is 10 days from the order date. WTH? So I called the store to see what gives!?
The lady explained that Moosejaw will place the order to the manufacturer and once they receive the item, it will be 2-day shipping...
WT F@$k?
I’ve never heard of this. So, I said that’s not how I understood and asked if there’s anything they can do. The lady’s response!?
“Do you still want the item?”
Bravo to the customer service and false promise.
Very disappointed to say the least as I choose Moosejaw deliberately over Amazon, which had a very similar price!
I’ll never go back to shop there.

Awful company, order a cardigan they sent wrong item. They have very sarcastic workers, will buy from them again, beyond rude.

If ordering from Moosejaw, be careful about shipping to a different address than your billing address. They have a very convoluted and time consuming process to verify that you have indeed purchased from their store, requiring multiple calls to their customer support to complete verification. The tedious verification process that I have to undergo with every order has completely turned me off to their service in favor of Backcountry.

I placed an item in my basket last night and then got busy and didn't get to finish order. Today is Cyber Monday and every other Company in America is doing major promotions. Not this Company. I went in to finish order this morning and the price has increased! Will not be ordering.

Love the sarcasm! Super Fast delivery! Got what I ordered! The only thing I got my panties in a bunch over was I didn't receive an email confirmation. And when I checked the order status, it said it didn't exist. So, I assumed the order didn't go through. To my surprise, it was delivered today 👍🏽Will rock the sticker on my car

Lightning fast shipping. The item we ordered (Obermeyer Coat) came in superb condition. I received an order confirmation and a tracking email shortly after I ordered. The emails they sent were humorous but professional. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

Ordered a northface hoodie and came in the 4-5 days as promised nothing wrong with item very satisfied

Placed an order (Order#125022735) with Moosejaw Wednesday and paid extra to ship 2-day.
Did not a receive a single shipping notification.
Contacted Moosejaw Wednesday and Thursday and was assurred it would arrive on time.
Contacted Moosejaw Friday and was told it hadn't shipped and there is nothing I can do about it.
Terrible service. NO notifications. Many other options out there: Backcountry, REI, etc.

Did not stand behind 30% reward offer, why make an offer if you don’t want to give it. The item company was not an exclusion, online person verified that. Online chat person blamed my Apple system and did not fix my order. Customer service was defensive blaming everything else instead of giving me the darn sale they offered. I expect good businesses to be straight forward, clear and stand behind what they say, instead of making up excuses. Just frustrated. Never had people keep trying to blame me for their mistakes. and no where did I read that 10% would be applied on code now and then you can trust that after it ships another 20% MAY be applied.

Horrible customer service highly recommend not ordering from them. Got two harnesses which I was told I should have read the fine print, but they are non refundable and no size charting was even listed so how are yo supposed to know if it fits? Awful company DO NOT ORDER from them use REI!

Much like others with same "in stock" experience. When I ordered a name brand jacket, website stated 4 in stock. 4 days after my order, I received an order update, which stated it would be delayed another week due to having to special order item from Arcteryx. 8 days, I receive item shipped email. Then when I checked tracking number for several days, the delivery date kept changing, 3 times! But always said label created, no other tracking history. I went online chat, and their sarcastic humor about item lost was not funny to me. After much discussion, nowhere I might add, I told them I would be patient. 10 days pass with no further update, so I call this time. " We refunded you". I didn't ask for refund, I wanted the item. During chat I was told they would special order item but Arcteryx was out of that size and color, which was true, I checked. But when I called, I had just checked Arcteryx site for availability, they had it. But I was told by Moosejaw that they now couldn't special order item. They were happy to give me the sale price "if" they ever got item back in stock. So I went online to Sunny Sports and ordered the same size and color for $19 cheaper. 35% off. This is in no way a complaint about Arcteryx. Very high quality, and I own many, many of their clothing items. Moosejaw's humor is welcomed in this day and time, but when they screw up, it's time to get serious. I didn't ask for anything extra, and I also told them I would gladly wait. No apology for their mistake, and no jacket.

This company was amazing to deal with. I got a Marmot tent shipped internationally when no other provider would do this. Furthermore some how they stuffed up my order and sent me two exactly the same Marmot Limelights valued at $300USD. Expensive mistake on their part but makes for a very happy customer. Dealing with the staff was super easy through the online chat service. I contacted them at once when I saw the reviews online, to be sure they were shipping my product.

I am sure that this review will never make it onto the site, but these guys are clowns. If they spent half as much time on customer service as the juvenile gags that fill their business then I probably would have had my gear 3 weeks sooner. They failed to indicate that the product they sold me was not in stock - despite indicating that if I chose to they could express ship. It wasn't urgent so I opted for 6-10 day shipping, thinking they could be that slow - how wrong I was! On May 12, I ordered an identical item from a competitor, who had it delivered for free in 3 days at exactly the same price, these guys had to order in from the supplier (unbeknownst to me), then after 2 phone calls and one chat session it was finally
dispatched, to arrive Jun 8 - almost 4 weeks later!
I wish I had read some independent web reviews of them, and I would have spent my $$$ elsewhere: I realised why the rate all 5 stars or 1 stars - staff write the former and customers write the latter.

I bought a jacket they sent it I received it. Price was very low. $80 instead of $180. I love the sticker inside the box it makes me feel in the 90s. They have a great logo too. I love you Moosejaw.

Please do not do business with this company. I spent over $250 on items that I needed for vacation. I paid for expedited/rushed shipping to ensure they would arrive in enough time for my cruise. Long and behold, my package gets lost/stolen. I contact customer service and receive a very unprofessional email response tha sounds childish and like a prank. I then proceeded to call and spoke to a rep. I was told a claim would be started. I wait about a week and receive a call from Sarah. By far the rudest human I've ever dealt with. Told me I needed to contact UPS not them because there's nothing they could do. I contact UPS and three way Sarah on the call so she could confirm that I indeed spoke with UPS and told them I NEVER received my package. I go on vacation for a week and come back and decide to email them again and get another unprofessional email giving me a "virtual high five", like how immature is that? I spent almost $300 for items I didn't receive and all they do is make jokes and give high fives... I then get a response saying I confirmed with UPS that I got my package which is far from true. Sarah was on the call and she heard herself. Not only that, but they told me they can't give me my money back (: I even spoke with UPS and they said they never spoke to the Merchant (moosejaw) about the claim. So yeah, please save your money. The customer service is a nightmare and unless you're 12 years old and want to giggle at virtual high fives, please spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

expect to pay an additional 30% for customs and don't expect any help or friendliness. I expected to pay customs/ duty in fairness as I wanted a particular item but soon found that my parcel wasn't being delivered as the driver was asking for payment from my office. when I spoke to moosejaw they literally said it's your responsibility and the courier will destroy the item if they can't deliver it. I eventually got it out of them that the courier was ups who I then rang up to sort it out and pay the duties over the phone but NO THANKS TO MOOSEJAW who clearly do not care once they have their $$$ in fact they are downright rude. When buying such an expensive jacket I would expect a little common decency.

I used to head right to Moosejaw online store every time I needed to buy any outdoor clothing (coats, vests, sporting equiptment) for myself, my husband or my children. Their prices were great, they had good brands, and I loved the funny sense of humor. I *just recently* bought another winter jacket for my daughter online. It was listed "in stock" on their website. I got an email after the purchase it was actually out of stock in her size, and would be shipped from Patagonia to their warehouse. No problem. It would only be another few days and they would expedite shipping at no cost to me. Over two weeks later, with no communication from their end, and multiple "chats" initiated by me, this item has STILL NOT SHIPPED and (although it is in their warehouse) I do not have a ship date or any other information. By the time I get this, it will be Spring. Needless to say, I will no longer be shopping with Moosejaw in the future!

I ordered a North Face Parka and a North Face fleece-lined jacket. On sale, their prices are less expensive than other websites. I had to exchange my parka for a different style and had no problems doing it (never worn, tags attached, etc.) BUT I happened to do it in person while visiting Ann Arbor (didn't realize they have actual bricks-and-mortar store until I was planning my trip). From my interactions calling the company and in-person at the store, I am surprised that the negative experience others have had. If you are patient enough to wait for frequently offered deals and discounts, you will get the best pricing.

I had a package that was lost, and after contacting Moosejaw I figured it was something that I'd have to accept as money lost. They not only emailed me back but they called me and were soo understanding and so easy to work with. GREAT customer service - really really appreciated!!!

They lie cheat and steal. Buyer beware. You will get goods weeks after ordering. They won't cancel order, then you get the wrong item. Place must be run by criminals.
