I honestly couldn't recommend More Than…
I honestly couldn't recommend More Than Accounts highly enough. From the very beginning, they were incredibly knowledgeable, proactive, and always happy to answer my questions. They gave me excellent advice throughout the process and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, without ever making me feel like I should already know the answers.
I've used several traditional accountancy firms in the past, but my experience with More Than Accounts has been on a completely different level. Their communication is excellent, they're quick to respond, and they genuinely seem to care about helping their clients rather than just processing paperwork.

Reliable, Transparent and Professional Accountancy Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (my top recommendation)
We have been using More Than Accountants since 2018, and our experience has been consistently positive.
One of the main reasons we chose them was their transparent pricing structure. Their fees are agreed in advance using a clear formula based on the number of transactions in the business account, so there are no unexpected surprises.
The package includes access to the Xero bookkeeping platform, together with a receipt management system. They initially provided Receipt Bank and have since transitioned to their own platform, both of which have made bookkeeping much easier.
Their payroll service has been excellent. Despite me often submitting payroll information very close to the end of the month, the calculations and payslips are usually completed and returned on the same day, which has been extremely helpful.
I would particularly like to thank **Eiman Hamid**, who has looked after our payroll over the last few years and recently prepared our year-end accounts. The process was efficient and well organised, and she was always happy to explain any questions during our Zoom meeting, making the accounts straightforward to understand and approve.
Communication has also been very good. Emails are generally answered within a couple of working days, and when you telephone, you are usually able to speak to a member of the team rather than navigating lengthy automated systems.
Overall, we have had, and continue to have, a very satisfactory experience with More Than Accountants, and I would be happy to recommend them to small businesses looking for transparent pricing, reliable payroll, and responsive accountancy support.

MoreThanAccounts…outstanding service
So I have been using MoreThanAccounts for a few years now. The payrol team, specifically Muhammad Zeeshan has been very helpful explaining steps and payments to HMRC through the year to maintain the correct balance on account with step by step procedures- if you need a full accountancy (specifically Hasrat Zaman) and payroll service (Muhammad Zeeshan) I would thoroughly recommend them.

I honestly can’t recommend More Than Accountants highly enough. From day one, the service has been professional, clear, and incredibly supportive.

His knowledge of business accounting is next to none, and he has an amazing ability to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. He has practical advice that genuinely helps us make better decisions in our business.

I'm really happy with these guys
I'm really happy with these guys. I've used quite a few accountants in the past. I've found sort of local ones, and each time it starts well and just deteriorates. This time I went with what I'd consider more of a sort of chain. I was a little bit nervous about it, but so far it's been absolutely fantastic. Whenever I email them, I get a really quick reply. If I've got a problem, when I've got HMRC sending me ridiculous letters (which happens way too often), they deal with it. They fill in forms for me, go well above and beyond.

A company who is trust worthy
ERSS Ltd has been operational for over seven years. We have engaged with two previous accountants, both of whom significantly failed our organisation.
The first was exceptionally poor, and the second failed to meet the necessary requirements for VAT and general accounting.
These instances were particularly concerning, as the second accountant forgot to charge us for accounting services for over 12 months. Our practice manager brought this oversight to our attention. After reporting this issue to the Accountant, they issued a 12-month invoice, which they expected us to settle.
This situation raised significant concerns, prompting our practice to seek alternatives within three months.
Following extensive due diligence- more rigorous than that applied previously- we selected More Than Accountants (MTA).
MTA meticulously reviewed all records and identified discrepancies that the previous accountants had either overlooked or failed to report over a 7 year period.
This included missed invoices with outstanding VAT amounts (7 invoices in 2025).
Currently, as our company faces the economic decline in the UK, similar to many others experiencing reduced profits and have deregister from VAT, it has come to light that the company owes over £9,000 due to the incompetence of the former accountant.
I cannot sufficiently express our appreciation for More Than Accountants, who have diligently rectified issues that predecessors (who were more in fees) failed to detect or report.
Although these issues represent a high cost and loss to the business, it is preferable to discover them now rather than during an HMRC audit.
We have complete confidence in More Than Accountants, and in an era where trust is hard to earn,

Firstly, we are incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in us. We understand how difficult it can be to regain confidence in an accountant after experiencing issues with previous providers, so your comments mean a great deal to the entire team.
When businesses join us, our goal is not simply to maintain compliance but to thoroughly review their affairs, identify any risks, and ensure they have a clear understanding of their financial position. While it is never pleasant to uncover historic issues, particularly when they result in unexpected liabilities, we firmly believe it is far better to address them proactively than for them to come to light during an HMRC enquiry or audit.
We are pleased that our Launchpad review process was able to identify the discrepancies and provide clarity on the position. Whilst the outcome was not the one anyone would have hoped for, it has allowed the business to move forward with confidence, knowing that matters have been properly addressed.
