Mesmerizing Lake District
The train ran late, but our Mountain Goat tour driver kindly held the tour for us.Drove 20 minutes through gorgeous nature to Windermere. Since Hill Top House is closed on Fridays, we visited the World of Beatrix Potterâa once-in-a-lifetime experience I recommend for every kid! Took a beautiful 30-minute cruise on Lake Windermere, visited an old castle with mesmerizing views, and viewed three stunning lakes during the drive. Finished with a peaceful Afternoon Tea at Lindeth Howe.

John and his explanations and descriptions all along the visit. For us (Argentinians) his pronuciation allow us undestood perfectlly well everything.

Fantastic tour!
It was a fantastic tour to the Lake District made even more memorable by our driver Lee, who was a wealth of knowledge. His wonderful sense of humour had us laughing throughout the entire tour. It felt like a private tour as there were only four of us and Lee treated us to a bonus by taking us to a scenic spot overlooking Tarn Hows. We would have liked to spend a little more time in Hawkshead rather than the train ride however we thoroughly enjoyed the day.

A very enjoyable tour to Muncaster Castle
We participated in the tour to Muncaster castle (4 adults in the age of 60 - 70). the driver guide was Mark. He was very professional, a very good driver - in the narrow roads of the mountains, picked us up from our hotel, everything was exactly on time. Mark has a very good knowledge about the area. We highly recommand "mountain goat tours". Please notice that there is a need for USB sockets in the bus; and maybe a pocket in front of each person for personal items.

Wonderful day out for scenic sightseeing

Vacances Lakes district
Nous sommes en vacances dans la région de Windermere pendant une dizaine de jours.
Comme nous nâavons pas de véhicule, nous voyageons toujours en transport en commun sur les lieux que nous visitons.
Mais parfois,pour sortir des sentiers battus,nous apprécions lâune ou lâautre excursion organisée
Cette fois,nous avions opté pour la visite des 6 lacs.
Cette excursion se fait avec un nombre réduit de personnes ce qui est un point positif.
Par contre,les commentaires se font uniquement en anglais, le chauffeur ne parlant pas un seul mot en français et sâexprimait trÚs rapidement, malgré que nous lui avions demandé dâessayer de
parler un peu plus lentement afin de nous permettre de comprendre.
Même les japonais qui étaient dans le bus ont eu droit à quelques mots dans leur langue.
Nous aurions aussi apprécié dâarrêter quelques minutes le temps de prendre une photo à des endroits remarquables.
Pourquoi ne pas avoir dâaudio-guide ou au minimum des explications sur un fascicule dans les langues les plus parlées en dehors de lâanglais.
Cela permettait à un plus grand nombre de profiter à fond de cette expérience
