Thanks, John, for making the "Perfect TOEFL Speaking" document freely available. It contain analysis of other people's speaking and how they improved their scores. In your website, I read the story of a pharmacist who have taken TOEFL several times (i think fore times) and always scoring 24 instead of the 26 he required. You were able to diagnose the problem and found out he spoke too slowly (speech rate). I saw myself in this person (I am also a foreign pharmacist) and began practicing speaking faster (but not too detrimentally fast) and did same in my 5th TOEFL. I also used your template and the strategy for question #2 where you link information in the passage with those in the conversation. I believed these two strategies helped me achieve the score of 26 I have been yearning for for several years. I was at 22, 24, 22. I used your strategy, then got to 25 and then 26 in my next attempt. Even though I did not utilize the "My Speaking Score", I believe it works and I encourage others to use it as it analyzes aspects you need to work and focus on. For me, the areas I focused on was speaking faster but clearly, using a template for all the four questions, only stating one reason in question 1 and developing it more, and connecting the passage and conversation in question 2. This website is excellent, helped me so much to find my weakness and how to get more scores on my Toefl exam. Also, this morning I had the opportunity to attended zoom meeting with John, Jonathan and other students. John was very informative and helpful, moreover he explained how easy find a reasons for speaking quastion number one. This is a game changer!!!! For 2 weeks using this website I Boosted my speaking from 25 to 28 and it’s amazing!!!! It helped me to figured out my personal issues and focused on them!!! I strongly recommend this website to everyone who has problems with getting through the speaking section. Myspeakingscore.com offers an invaluable tool for TOEFL speaking tasks. It's basically the same as the "TOEFL speech rater". I know many people who are wasting so much time and money by constantly taking the real TOEFL exam because they are stuck with the speaking task. That's how I heard about John Healy and his website. A Turkish pharmacist friend of mine took TOEFL at least 12 times. Because she could not get more than 24, and all she needed was 26. I know there are many more people like this. Actually, I recently met a pharmacist from South Africa, and he told me the same story, He told me he takes TOEFL every other 2 weeks until he passes it, because he cannot get 26 and more from speaking tasks. He's currently working as a pharmacy technician. Getting paid much less than a pharmacist.
