Very bad support account got hacked and they said suspended for life

I signed up for a two year subscription, and most of the IPs are unusable. Either blocked for being VPN endpoints, or unbearably slow. There is no checking on the users they allow to offer their connection to the service on. I'm sick of getting 1 megabit. So I tell them I want to cancel and don't renew it. They send back a huge reply asking to detail why, what went wrong, what I liked and didn't like, why i want to cancel, what problems I had. I tell them im not going to answer all that just cancel it. They don't. I tell them again, in writing, do NOT auto-renew the service ... again, a list of 20 question they want answering before they'll cancel it. I again say im not jumping through all these hoops, they can't continue to charge me and auto-renew when i've told them twice in writing that I want to cancel ...... they've not stopped the auto-renewal. I've now reported them to my local business standards group, and the US better business group. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, THEY WONT LET YOU CANCEL.

Very disappointing experience with MysteriumVPN.

I contacted their live chat support and have been waiting for more than 12 hours. My message appears to have been seen, but I still haven't received a response.

I also contacted their support by email regarding the same issue, and more than 12 hours later, there is still no reply there either.

At this point, I want to cancel the service and get a refund. The most frustrating part is: if support doesn't even respond, how is a customer supposed to request or receive a refund?

I shouldn't have to chase a company across multiple support channels just to get a basic response, especially when money and a refund are involved.

I have now formally requested my refund and I'm documenting the date and time of my request. I will update this review if MysteriumVPN responds and resolves the issue.

For now, based on my experience, 1 star for extremely poor customer support.

residential IP feature solves a huge problem, where most of other VPN providers have only datacenter IPs which is exposable for firewall and eventually your request will be blocked.

Excellent VPN service with great customer support.
I used MysteriumVPN for several months and had a very positive experience. The connection was stable, fast, and I didn't encounter any technical issues during my subscription.
I recently cancelled my subscription simply because I don't need a VPN at the moment, not because of the service itself. The support team responded very quickly and disabled my auto-renewal without any hassle.
I highly recommend MysteriumVPN, and I'm sure I'll be back in the future when I need a VPN again.

They dont do refunds even tho it says they do

Everything is great but i cant see my devices so thats why i cant give u 5 star but vpn is so good and easy to use and fast response from support team really great but i cant control my vpn rn and i feel so bad about it

I've been using them for more than a year now. I gave 5star because they have home residential IPs too, in case you don't want the regular VPN with a datacenter. It's cost effective for me to getting a proxy.

I would not use them. I signed up for a subscription while in Europe in January 2026 and requested to cancel in February. I was still getting charged as of June and had to get my credit card company to reject the charge. Even after emailing them multiple times I still receive bills as of late June, which they claimed I never told them why I wanted to cancel when I requested the cancellation multiple times. Can’t trust them. It will cost you more time with your credit card company and new cards than they are worth.

Horrible cancelling process you have to chat with a customer service chatbot for 1 hour + because they reply so slow

The only negative points I see are with the subscription; it charged me but didn't renew the plan, and I had to pay again. I requested a refund, which I received, so that resolved the issue. However, I'm only giving it 4 stars for that reason, but the VPN itself deserves 5
