I had a bad review on the platform because of activity not related to me, and I couldn't advertise on Facebook because of this. The WoT team contacted me and helped me with this.

User: GURBL seems to be causing several reviewers issues.

This company don’t seem to be able to maintain their own platform, allowing fraudulent reviews to be posted by what appears to be a bot.

I will be seeking legal advice. I would suggest others to do the same and get this site taken down.

An update to my previous review:
The WOT customer service team was very helpful in resolving the issue. The unsafe warning has now been removed from my website. I'm only giving four stars because I still don't know why WOT's algorithm rated my site as unsafe.

Great support.I still miss to see the reasons for so much hate over them but, so far, I am very pleased.There is no perfect platform on the entire internet.

WOT is a flawed system that penalizes small businesses and makes it extremely difficult for them to advertise on Facebook, since Facebook's algorithm factors in WOT ratings.

WOT es una Extension de confiabilidad totalmente eficiente y confiable, la recomiendo totalmente. La uso desde el año 2011 en Firefox y la verdad que siempre me dio buenos Resultados. Si tienen alguna duda al respecto, no lo duden, es una de las Extensiones de Firefox más antiguas y populares que existen, respecto al Soporte via E-Mail, funciona perfectamente y responden en tan solo unos minutos u horas.

Web of Trust is a great addon extension for your browser. The purpose of the extension is for the community to help others determine which websites are safe and which are spams / have explicit content. Some sites have inaccurate reviews that have nothing to do with the website safety which is why I rated it 4 stars. The website is not user-friendly at all either.

Marks down sites that are legitimate because users don't like them or because they have a paywall.

I thought I could share my findings and ask WOT a question in their Forum - Apparently NOT (read below)

1000's of domains are accused SAME DAY: Feb 27, 2015

NO, I'm not in the infamous Pill Peddling business so NO skin off my nose - I'm selling Information Products :)

I only care about How WE Can Trust WOT...???

When WOT Can NOT or Will NOT police their own contributors

WOT is letting DOWN their 6 million users who TRUST WOT is helping them stay safe

Great site. I use it in conjunction with Trustpilot.

I believe there should be multiple trustworthy sources of information about websites and services. Web of Trust and Trustpilot are pretty much the top 2.

bad rating for commercial site for who-knows reason, "nice support"

Review cartel extorting money to remove negative reviews even when false.

Might not be as fancy as Trustpilot, but the reviews seems a lot more genuie and not as Trustpilot, plagued by fake reviews

I have a free site with Wix that advertises my services. I have no dodgy links or offer anything that scams customers yet I have a bad rep on my site. How is this possible? Seems to me that this system is highly flawed

WOT does have an interesting concept, similar to TrustPilot actually, but the review ranking system seems to be largely dependent on external items instead of the user reviews and the filter is extremely strict.

And I don’t like how they jump to the conclusion “Safe” based on the rating system. I think WOT needs more transparency into the system. Otherwise, it’s okay.

I love the idea of WOT, which is (or so I thought) to protect you from opening up websites that have malware or are otherwise harmful. But that is not the case. For one thing, most of the spiritual or metaphysical websites that I enjoy have bad ratings. Ditto for anything left-leaning. That is because if someone doesn't agree with your tenets or politics they can and will give it a bad rating. When I come across unfair WOT ratings and want to offer my own two cents, or even if I want to give a good rating, or leave feedback, I cannot leave a comment, even though I am a subscriber of WOT! I finally got a response from WOT, and the response is "WOT does not support the Safari browser anymore". Oh, great. Well, Safari is what I use, so goodbye Web of Trust!

Оставил плохой отзыв на сайт etc.solopool и через 2 часа отзыв как ветром сдуло. Впервые с таким сталкиваюсь с этим плагином. Раз так, то накатаю на плагин, а что делать, когда рот затыкают))
Кстати, интересно, через сколько удалят мой новый отзыв.
