I had a very disappointing experience. I came in to get a simple trim and they butchered my hair I was extremely unhappy with the results. I also felt that I was treated differently because of my race, which made the experience even more upsetting. The owner was not very friendly or welcoming, and the overall interaction left me feeling disrespected. I was also concerned about the cleanliness of the environment. I expected a professional, respectful, and sanitary experience, but unfortunately that was not what I received. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. I hope the owner takes customer concerns seriously and works to improve the experience for future clients!!!!!

I am mortified at the services at this salon. Yes... I am a dumb white girl. Sadly I just moved to town a few months ago & am young so I haven't had much experience with salons. Curly (the owner) took complete advantage of this. Her salon seems to be for ethnic hair only. You would think, as a professional, she would of told me this and politely suggested another salon for me... Instead she claims she can do my hair no problem, as if she’s had plenty of practice with all hair types. I asked to go blonde. She said it wouldn't only be bleach, that I'd have to do a color correction and sounded very experienced so I trusted her. She quoted me at $266 for the process and I agreed. First, she caked bleach on my head... focused on the roots & used much more bleach than necessary. Then a second bleach round. Then I was left with yellow roots, blue & pink remanence in my hair... I looked like a crackhead. Curly looked pleased with doing this to me. As if she was retaliating for a white girl coming in her shop. I told her I was unhappy and she said " I think your hair is strong enough for another round" Then for the THIRD BLEACH she put me in foils & under a dryer until my hair felt like actual lava and was FALLING OUT OF MY HEAD. My long hair, halfway down my back that was healthy and thick is now ugly. It looks fried, like I have a crappy wig on and I've lost well over 8 inches of my hair. I am furious. To make matters worse, Curly then upcharged me another $130... I was speechless and didn't know what to do. With my hair falling out, she goes " you need protein for that" Then recommended a product with an outrageous price. I left very upset. After seeing another stylist and talking about what happened I found out she was completely wrong and did malpractice. She did no test strands, no color wash, nothing was done right. No treatments or oils to protect my hair. Curly wanted to harm me. She also left chemical burns on my scalp that I saw a doctor for and received two ointments for. Because of this... I left a review on facebook which Curly immediately retaliated with by going on fake profiles and harassing me (saying the exact same wording that she had messaged me personally from her official number too ). She started harassing my online shop for handcrafted jewelry that she has never purchased from in attempt to ruin my name. Then she even did background checks on me to publicly disclose my name, past court situations... Completely disgusting behavior from a grown woman who has owned a shop for 20 years. I do not recommend going here. She is a horrible stylist, horrible person, and overall I am in terrible regret that I trusted this disrespectful unprofessional person to touch my hair. I wish I had the money to sue her, but I couldn't afford it after how much I had to pay to get my hair to stop falling out of my head because of her malicious service. And to top it off, it has been literal months since this happened… Last night I received a phone call from some voice that was obviously modified stating that my enemy had paid for them to call me and they started saying weird things. I tried to record it, but they hung up. I know for a fact, it has to be her considering all of the other stuff she has done to me online ever since messing up my hair and getting mad at me for exposing her for what she does. I don’t have any other enemies or people that are currently mad at me. I’ve never had anybody. Send me weird calls. If the harassment continues, I will eventually make a police report. Speaking of police reports, the exact same day that the stylist did my hair, she contacted the police and trespassed me from her shop so I wouldn’t be able to come there and confront her about all the hair that fell out of my head once I came home. I saw it falling out at the salon, but it was so much more worse than I could’ve anticipated. And then had to pay close to $1000 to have a completely different stylist over an hour of a drive away do a bunch of treatments to make my hair stop falling out. I also had to go to the doctor to get ointment for the chemical burns on my scalp. Don’t go to this malicious salon. She only cares about money. She doesn’t even care about her own reputation because look at what she does publicly… I’m disgusted.

I do not recommend going to this salon. The owner is very rude and yanks your hair. She doesn't care about client comfort and she changes the price discussed last minute! Things are over priced and she's not even using good products. The products are cheap and she is just scamming people. After reading other reviews, it seems like her hurting clients is a regularly occurring thing. I am never coming back again and I recommend not going to this salon for all of my friends and family too. Don't go here if you expect things to be done right.
