My song didn't release and Customer support lied

(Jan 12: Edit 2) I will check on the 20th if it is on Spotify. I have updated to 3 stars.

I have recieved the message from Novecore and my song now shows "delivering". I will update my review in 3 days, as the website says it should take around a day to deliver to spotify. If it is delivered I will update to 3 stars.

I set my song to release 3 weeks in advance for a guaranteed like the website said. It's been 2 days and my song hasn't released yet. I talked to customer support and they told me I need the $5/a month for guaranteed release date. That makes no sense because the website told me I would have a guaranteed release date. What makes it even worse is that 3 days before the release date, customer service told me my song WOULD release on time. Full of lies, and unless this can be resolved quickly I will not use Novecore for my next song.

Impossible platform

Customer care is impossible to deal with. I released my album over 3 months ago. As yet, it only appears on YouTube Music. They can't resolve the problem with not having provided me with a Spotify artist name. And the only replies I get is that they are waiting and that they can't do anything. I can't even start to imagine what will happen when payouts are supposed to be due.... So try to find another platform, which is what I plan to do.

Bad customer service

If I could give 0 stars - I would. My release was rejected, and the customer service provided only an FAQ and no specific reasons related to my album; pretty much did not offer any help at all. This is the 1st ever one star review that I am writing, but guys, that's not how business should be done!

Update as of 12/6/2021 - I fixed this error and resubmitted. Received rejection again with the same reason, and a CS representative was not able to help again...

while I was not able to find the specific support interaction, I have checked your account and it appears that the primary reason for your release being rejected is that you have put multiple artist names in a single artist name field (instead of adding additional artists).

The response template I assume you are referring to lists this exact reason as a possible cause for metadata rejections ("You put multiple artists in a single artist field (i.e. "Artist 1 ft. Artist 2" or "Artist 1 & Artist 2")").

Please feel free to resubmit a corrected version of your release or contact our Content Operations team at content@staclar.com for more information.

Response to Update: It looks like you weren't interested in my suggestion of emailing to content team directly, who will have the most in-depth details as they handle review of releases. I can see that your re-upload was rejected because the release title was duplicated (once in Latin and once in Hebrew script).

YouTube Content ID service

They have a chatbox in the bottom left of the page which is useful in case I'm unsure what I'm doing. They create UPCs and ISRCs for you and allow you to use Content ID service on YouTube in case you want to collect royalties from other videos that will use your music (meaning your song will be automatically noted in the description of the YouTube video like major label artists).

It don't distribute to spotify

It don't distribute to spotify, and i can't make a vevo release before making an audio release.

We do distribute to Spotify again.

Unfortunately, due to a lot of abuse of the feature in the past, we only allow vevo uploads for audio that has been distributed on Novecore before.

They are a great distribution service

They are a great distribution service, just some issues with Apple Music but I sorted those! The verification is safe and a great idea. The live chat is very quick and their distribution services stores and methods are amazing! Great software ! Thx guys!

Imposible hacer que te acepten lo que subes, tras muchos intentos me rechazan cualquier subida que hagas. Mejor ve a por cualquier otro distribuidor.

They refuse to pay out the Juni…

They refuse to pay out the Juni Royalties and they say every time this is Spotifys fault. that not cool. They also take down your songs without any problems.

Whilst the vast majority of our artists generate their streams legally and have not participated in this fraudulent activity, Spotify decided to remove our entire catalogue. This is why many you will be unable find or play your tracks on the streaming service. Spotify issue with no fixes

At this time, I simply can not suggest using this website at all. I would refrain from using it for any website because if Spotify did it then all the other music sites could do the same.

A few weeks back, a large amount of users lost their music on spotify. They just disappeared. Without a reason or anything just gone and it caused a massive issue towards Novecore. On their twitter they told their customers that they are addressing this issue. After a few days they got a response saying that people are doing some shady stuff using this service. Supposedly they banned a lot of users due to that and people were caught in the cross fire.

However, despite Novecore saying they are addressing the issue. They honestly haven't been showing any results. Its been a long time since the last update on their twitter page addressing this issue. It's still not solved, however. They aren't giving us any information other than that they are merely "trying". Now they could be trying, however, it would be best to show/update us on the situation. They also removed that notice of the Spotify issue on their website so I feel they are thinking it isnt a problem anymore. I am a little freigthened that I wont recieve my streams but its not something I can change.

I plan to change distributors in the future if this isnt resolved because it's hard to trust a company that doesnt really tell anything to us.

This is simply my opinion and its your choice to use this service or not. I would advise against using it but thats your decision and not mine.

Horrible service

Horrible service , they still owe me all my streams, i hope i will still get them.

They removed my songs without reason and blame spotify. But haven't done anything to re-upload.

Went with a different provider now.

edit ; After some good research .

Owner of novecore. Matthias was fully aware of botters. there's even proof out there that he was ADORING botters ( invite discord servers that were selling software for botting. )

Just to fill his own pockets.

On 23rd August 2020, we discovered that Spotify had removed a large proportion of Novecore’s catalog from their platform, impacting thousands of tracks and artists. Despite seeking urgent clarification and repeatedly trying to contact the company, Spotify offered no explanation for their action. We were then notified on 18th September that Spotify had identified artificial streaming by a small number of Novecore users. The use of artificial streaming is indefensible. As is clear from our terms of service, Novecore takes the issue extremely seriously and operates a zero-tolerance policy. As soon as we became aware of the breach, we launched an investigation, identified the problem users, and removed the culprits from our platform.

Whilst the vast majority of our artists generate their streams legally and have not participated in this fraudulent activity, Spotify decided to remove our entire catalogue. On 27th August, Spotify informed us of their decision to withhold royalties. They also announced their intention to investigate past royalties paid out and may claim damages if they find evidence of longstanding artificial streaming. For a small distributor like ourselves, recovering royalties already paid to artists in breach would be incredibly difficult and leave us financially liable. In light of this, we have been forced to temporarily freeze payouts to all of our users.

We are working tirelessly alongside our legal team to resolve the issue and to understand the situation in its entirety. We empathize deeply with the anger and frustration felt by you, our users. Many of you have done the right thing, generated your streams legally, and find yourselves caught up in a situation through no fault of your own.
