Box Came late everything was defrosted and ruined

My employer rewarded me with $300 in Omaha Steaks gift cards. I had never done business with them before. I was thrilled to have this reward, but my excitement soon turned to utter frustration.

After taking a while to pick out the steak packages, I went to check out. On that page, I saw that the price was 15% higher if I did not do a "subscription!" Okay, so I subscribed and then entered the first two of three gift cards. First, it told me that the code was not valid. Get this... The gift card lists the code in all caps. When I entered it as shown on the card, I got the error. Time and time again, until I entered that same code in lowercase, and then it was accepted.

The first two cards were entered OK, but the third one kept telling me that the code is locked. I tried again, and each time I had to do a seemingly endless CAPTCHA challenge. EACH.TIME.

Back to the order page. Now it says my password is incorrect. I re-enter it, and the page not only loses my order, but also the two cards that got entered successfully.

I have been in this fiasco for nearly an hour. Still getting the code error. Next, I used the "Help" chat and got the AI "Simone" assistant, who eventually sent me to a real person named "Aimee." She verified the card had $100 on it, but little else. I wait and wait while she tries to find out what the issue is. Guess what? The chat is terminated by her.

I am letting my employer know that these gift cards have not worked. Omaha Steaks is an option to our 100k+ user base for awards, and I cannot wait to tell them about my experience. I am hoping they can get refunded, and I can pick out a decent company.

Needless to say, there is NO WAY that I would ever consider doing business with Omaha Steaks again. What an epic waste of time for me today.

For the 2nd time in 6 months our package was delivered thawed and no dried ice inside. The customer service reps are always nice and gave us assurance that our package would be replaced. However, that doesn't help with the inconvenience it causes. The 1st time was at Christmas and we had planned our Christmas eve dinner around our steaks from Omaha. This time, we had planned our Sunday dinner around the Omaha delivery. We are pretty patient most of the time, but I think we are finished ordering from Omaha.

Excellent meat and the prices are reasonable. Much better than buying from a supermarket

Never had an issue with omaha, wish the shipping was cheaper! Meat is outstanding.

The advertisement on TV shows real thick burgers, however, was disappointed when I received my , they were not as shown in the false Ad, although very tasty, was expecting a bigger burger

The steaks were tough--small for the money--the taste was not what we are used to....

Beef Products Were Good..It was a Package which Included Jumbo Franks( Though it was All Beef) But Included Pork & Fillers..My Family Tasted That Along With The Pork Loin..Each Tasted Awful and was Disappointing.

I was very disappointed in how my order was handled. First of all I never got a order number or a confirmation. My delivery date kept getting pushed back. When I was told to track my order I couldn't as I had no order Number. When my gift was finally delivered my recipients name was spelled wrong and there was no gift card to tell them who it was from. Bad service all around.

I have enjoyed Omaha Steaks a few times before and totally enjoyed it

I have used Omaha Steaks before and have always had a good experience. This last order, however, was a huge disappointment. The order consisted mostly of burgers. There was no flavor at all. It is the most expensive cardboard I've ever eaten. Having paid a premium price, I'll find a way to choke it down but I will never order again.

I have been a customer for over 20 years and from time to time had issues which were resolved. Not this time. I ordered 2 boxes on 4MAY today is the 13MAY and I still do not have the second box. The first box was delayed and when it came every single thing including the dry ice was thawed. Somehow the boxes got mixed and only 1/2 of both boxes arrived. Customer Service replaced the first one. The second one, mostly pork never came. It was also delayed and to this day has not arrived. Customer Service replaced the box which was to come today and it did not come. Now I have to call them yet again. In this economy throwing away food because of a carrier issue is a sin. I am going to think long and hard before I place another order. Still waiting for my other box…..

Working with Kim is the best! She is very efficient and professional. The food is always wonderful and well received, our team loves the gifts!

Their products are very good and the prices are good, especially when they are on sale. The only problem I consistently have is their delivery. Shipping is rarely on the delivery date given and information when you call is almost always inaccurate. Delays are more the norm, which results in product frequently not in the best frozen condition. They need to take a real hard look at their shipping logistics management.

Omaha Steaks have great products, and their customer service is outstanding.

So, this was my first order from Omaha steaks and I was very much looking forward to trying some of their products. Delivery of my order was timely and everything remained frozen in their packaging. I was impressed with how the various items in my order were packaged and the individual boxes fit nicely in my freezer. The first item I tried from my order were the top sirloin steaks and I must say, I was less than pleased with the quality of the meat. I fixed two steaks and after seasoning with some of the Omaha steak seasoning that came with my order, they were tender and flavorful. Well, mostly tender as there was too much gristle and connective tissue making it very difficult to chew and enjoy. In the end, almost half of one of the steaks was inedible with the other slightly better. Based on the company's claim, I was expecting better quality. I am hoping that the other items in my order provide a more pleasurable eating experience.

Omaha Steaks product quality is always excellent, which is critical considering today's supermarket prices. There is never any waste or gristle. The delivery was perfect...we were especially impressed by the care taken to pack a sufficient amount of dry ice around the food to ensure that it would stay frozen.
