False Advertisement and False Claims
The company advertised that they provide an address that could be used as your business address. Yet, when I purchased the virtual assistant and address for business, I was not able to use that address at all. It was rejected by state of Georgia licensing. I reported this and requested my money back because I was not able to use this business's address for my business address. The response I got for my request was that they (Opus) will be in touch with me and no one ever contacted me again. Twice, I requested my money back and did not get a response or refund.

We have 650+ locations throughout the US and Canada; however, as we explained to you on the phone on March 5th, the location you chose is a Mail Center, which is probably why you were unsuccessful in utilizing this address with the state of Georgia. While most of our addresses are premium locations, there are some smaller markets, where we have had to create partnerships with other companies in order to offer an address rather than offering nothing. As discussed, we are happy to switch your address to a premium location which does not cost any additional money, but could better suit your needs. If you change your mind and would like to switch to a premium address, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team at (888)898-9868.

I paid for additional service for phone calls. Got from them only one mail for clarifying which phone number will be in setting and that is all. It is almost a moth no actions from them, either I wrote them reminder mails.

Very disappointed with Opus Virtual…
Very disappointed with Opus Virtual Office. They refused to approve my ID, yet still charged me for a subscription that I was clearly never qualified for according to their own standards. When I requested cancellation, they ignored my request, continuing to bill me despite never providing the promised services. On the other hand, my experience with Regus was smooth and straightforward. I’d strongly suggest avoiding Opus if you value transparent communication and fair business practices.

We're sorry for the misunderstanding. We've reached out to you regarding your cancellation to be able to help you correctly submit your cancellation request. There is a 30-day cancellation notice, which happens to be substantially less than most of our key competitors who actually require a 6-month minimum contract. The reason we have a this 30-day cancellation notice is because there is a process (ie-assigning a suite number, completing the required USPS Form 1583, activating your phone number, etc…) and we would need time to deactivate all of these services when you choose to leave. We’re sorry if this upset you, however, this is standard for the industry, and we make sure message it clearly before an order is placed.

unnecessary and unethical
This place is a scam , every 4/5 star review i would seriously question. They’re ad specifies first month free, never received that , also a guarantee that you could cancel anytime with no hassle. They had been calling me for about a week, letting me know it was time to pay up i left several messages that went ignored and they slammed my card anyway- big surprise… while speaking with CUSTOMER SERVICE this morning i was told it was a BILLING problem and i needed to give 30 days notice to cancel! So scammy and un ethical. Now i’ve created a TICKET which i’m sure will get top priority, and they’ll stick with this 30 day nonsense. So now i have a virtual office i don’t want / need , never used. GREAT ! i guess OPUS needs that $119! Don’t spend it all in one place . CAVEAT EMPTOR.

I’m sorry that you feel this way, as we try to be very clear in all of our advertising. For instance, the free month that you mention in your review is only applicable when you sign up for a 12-month contract. The following is what users see when they click on this promotion: “When you prepay for 11 months you will get the 12th month free”. This is also messaged on the payment screen just before you place your order. Since you did not sign up for a 12-month contract, you were not eligible for the free month. Further, in regards to the terms of our agreement, we clearly state on the payment screen before you place your order that the initial agreement is for a 3-month term with a 30-day cancellation notice, which happens to be substantially less than most of our key competitors who actually require a 6-month minimum contract. The reason for these terms is that there are several things we need to do in order to coordinate with your local office to setup and activate your account (ie-assigning a suite number, completing the required USPS Form 1583, activating your phone number, etc…) and then have time to deactivate all of these services when you choose to leave. We’re sorry if this upset you, however, this is standard for the industry and we make sure to message it clearly before anybody places an order.
