The Site is full of negativity, too much dictatorship from moderators. Seeing too often my comments would get censored by negative votes (when my comments are actually very useful to general public). Hence showing how illiterate the community is on this website, its full of garbage people and moderators. You can even get bullied and so much harassed on this website, and mods, and admins wont do a single thing about it

You are basically going to be banned if you think you can say whatever you want on this site.

Moderators and admins dont give a dam about you, they only give a dam on human traffic that this site gets, Hopefully this site will go down in future. If they think something bad posted is okay then its okay (as long as it's not an average person posting that like you and me). You complaining mods about a post not being appropriate will do absolutely nothing. But you getting a complain will trigger you a message from MOD saying we have been getting a lot of inappropriate activities blah blah blah from you., If This continues you will be banned.

Also be very careful on posting anything on this website as they will not take ANYTHING DOWN on your request. Also from my personal advice do not talk on Ozbargain private messages (THEY WILL STORE ALL THE DATA ABOUT YOU, and my guess is sell it to other companies). YOUR DATA IS NEVER PRIVATE ON THIS WEBSITE

Also generally speaking Ozbargain isn't even that full on bargains its mostly full of CRAP for a long time, with occasional good deals.

Even if you follow the guidelines if a select few don't like what you post they get the mods to remove going against their own rules with nonfactual comments but you still get banned and their comments are allowed to remain, when confronted on why its banned they will eventually get back to you and say they have implemented a new rule just to ensure your post can't stay absolute waste of time unless your in bed with the moderators absolutely not community run as they choose what you see and it has to be what they want to see.

I can see a lot of offers from them, but most of the promotions are not relevant to me to be honest. However, I do recommend using the referral codes they offer and I often get a bit of sign up bonus.

The one-star reviews here are all from dishonest sellers who thought they could post their $2 iphone cases on there for $20, to make a quick buck, having a cry when the community dared to ignore their "bargain".

A bit like criminals reviewing a jail. It's not supposed to be great for you guys, LOL, that's what makes it so useful to normal people.

Terrible. Randomly was associated with a store. When I enquired they gave me evidence that my IP matched another users when my IP was not even that. Seems to have some buggy code in the backend, its easier to just use the site to find deals. Don't bother contributing.

Is just a forum for men with small man syndrome or other small bits to be with rude/abusive/smart alec commentary to others to make up for their own short comings..basically a site for a bunch of rude males.

BEWARE IF you negative vote an admin account, they will directly ban you. you open a voting platform and you ban ppl cos they dislike your comment not even post.

Use to have lots of good deals, but not now anymore. Some of the stores use it as a marketing platform just post some poor quality deals. In this case, your event cannot give them a minus voting....

Too many unnecessary rules and adamant team makes it very difficult to sell through their website. They take advantage of having great traffic. They ban the stores for unnecessary reasons which are not in business's control and dont lift the bans even after requesting and sharing the arguments. Too adamant and rude team and moderators.

Thye suffocate the business and people running that

Admin/mods abuse their power and ban/penalty box for pathetic reasons. Clear humor and jesting, sarcasm, without foul language. Ban. It's behave like this perpetuates a lack of resilience and why terms like snowflakes gather momentum.

Very rare to see a bargain on this site, seems to be easily spammed by retailers.

The community is quite rude, mainly made up millenials by the feel of the site. Deals are negged and rude comments made. Used to be good but not anymore, normal people are no longer posting great deals and freebies for fear of being abused...

Corruption and exploitation at its finest. The community will knowingly abuse a bug without a second guess - they have no regard for the damage it can do to business.

I used to be a contributor. Now, the vast majority are keyboard warriors with no respect for anyone.

Do not list your business here. If you find your business listed here, pull the offer. They are nothing but competition/offer pigs.

scam website - beware

A site that reflects modern Australia - dishonest, racist, full of political censorship, and a business profiting from ordinary people sharing their experiences. Bullying people it doesn't like is routine on this site, and it allows and encourages far right propaganda and violence. Its published guidelines on trolling for example are only employed to ban people using the word, and self confessed trolls are allowed to do whatever they like on this cess pit of a site.
That's why its full of trolls, bullies, racists and fascists because they are encouraged to post. Its a business being paid to put forward far right thinking into the Australian community, and its reflects our current pathetic clime.

Kelly M is like Trump. If you believe them, **only you will be missing out.** OzBargain is the best and most authoritive community source of bargains on the internet in Australia which began in 2006. "OzBargain is an independent community website which has no association with nor endorsement by the respective trademark owners." It derives no income from the information it provides. It is like the ABC. Trustworthy, independant and well moderated.

Great bargains good community

Use it everyday to find great deals and offers. The community is also great.

Lots of low life bullies and trolls who make condescending statements. For instance, if you make a genuine enquiry, a troll will respond with something like "I don't care about___", or "your question has no relevance to anyone". When you tell them that they don't need to respond if they aren't interested, guess what happens? The moderators warn you or unpublish your comment, but allow the condescending trolls comments to stay up.

My top go to site for deals, bargains and freebies. There's always something new to discover - even the occasional entertainment in the comments section.

Full of bullies, trolls, and stupid people who try to put u down. Funny part is most of them don't even make any sense, and will try to make fun of u and personally attack you instead of ask or clearing their doubts about your posted deal.
