Bad clinic. Waiting ages for an appointment. Can't see a doctor because they saying i can see pharmacy doctor first and he can exam me and then decide if i need to see doctor in clinic or doctor from pharmacy can describe me an antibiotic. Useless clinic....

This surgery has been my main source of GP care for decades, even before it was in its current location, and two wonderfully caring doctors who looked after me have passed away. There are still good doctors and staff there, but I've been really distressed by recent problems.
I'm recovering from cancer treatment so the last thing I need is extra stress. But a prescription I have been collecting from the same pharmacy every Tuesday for years gets forgotten every 3 or 4 weeks, necessitating me trekking back and forth between surgery and pharmacy. This happened again yesterday. And on the same day I was told that samples I had delivered to their mailbox for lab tests would need to be redone as I had brought them too late - but in fact they later admitted they weren't sent because of an "oversight" by them. Nevertheless I had to redo the tests today.
I know the entire NHS is overwhelmed, but I don't understand why in recent weeks I have found myself walking around in the rain more than once just to sort out my prescription. The desk staff know I'm recovering from cancer and they look embarrassed by these snafus.
