Highly recommended! Great, comprehensive advice from Alan and patient, persistent badgering by Charlotte (of an insurer with slow turnarounds) helped me to move my DB arrangement to DC in the UK. As a career retirement income specialist, this gave me the flexibility I needed to structure my benefits to meet my family's unique requirements.

Excellent advice and support from Jayne and the PX Pension exchange team over many months. They assisted with the transfer of pension funds from the UK to Australia and made the process seamless and easy. They also liaised with my Australian advisers to make sure everything ran smoothly. Acting from NZ, it was very difficult to find an appropriately (& currently) accredited FSC-approved advisor to assist me with my pension transfers. I had tried and given up twice before over the previous ten years.

PX have been advising me from the UK since 2017, together with advisers in Australia regarding the disposition of my FS and other UK pensions, negotiating the very complex and changing regulatory demands. After much research, I selected Pension Exchange to help me through the process of transferring a Pension TV with safeguarded elements within it. (Such advice was mandatory in my case).

What a good decision. The IFA assigned to my case was Michael Hall who listened to what I wanted, offered ongoing advice if I wanted it, but never pushed it once I indicated that I didn't need this. He had a relaxed, assured manner and I took to him and his approach immediately.

Michael knew my strong preference was to effect the transfer. He emphasised that, no matter how keen I was, he would have to go through a thorough a review of my finances, assets and financial priorities before making a recommendation.

When he finally made a recommendation I went through it and was impressed by its thoroughness – indeed much more detailed than I would have anticipated.

Their fees were also less than I had been quoted elsewhere

Their admin contact, Charlotte Barnes, was first class, a friendly and proactive person who continued to take an interest in my case, chasing other parties for updates right through until she had confirmation that the transfer had been completed.

Overall, I could not fault them in any way.

In my experience this is a field where it is safe to assume the UK pension companies have your back and will be professional and timely. In fact this is far from true. UK pensions companies do not resource this work adequately, and appear to give it little priority. If you are to achieve your goals you need an outstanding team of advisers. PX Pension Exchange is just such a team, combining expert knowledge in this complex area with practical knowledge of how to get things done.
