Four of us wore the bands (one on wrist one on ankle) and three of us were bitten, one quite badly. First time I used the s product but won’t use them again

Awful customer service. Bands did not arrive on time for my holiday. Contacted customer services, a week before I went away. They told me if I ordered some more that day. I can have a discount on express delivery. I told them the product would be sat on my door step whilst I was away. There response was!!! They will last 2 years!!!!
Awful company to buy from AVOID.

Sadly these have been of no use whatsoever.
I started with one on a wrist plus one on an ankle.
By the evening I had a line of bites up the leg and around the knee on the leg with band on!
I upped it to 2 on a wrist plus 2 on an ankle, trying them for several days, and actually putting new ones on daily rather than reusing.
3 bites on the foot with bands on.
Bites on arm with band on, and one right underneath a band!
And so it continued, along with bites all over my torso, my neck, my shoulders, my thighs.
As you can probably guess, I have given up with them.
This was at home in England, no somewhere exotic.

After 10 days in Tunisia with no bites. I remove the band on the plane and got bit on my shoulder! 5 people went away and not one bit.

Wore the bracelets on wrists and ankles for the entirety of my 2 week holiday (in the uk) and got bitten virtually every single day!! Very disappointed!

Sadly these just don’t work - have been bitten worse than ever on holiday in France and used the bracelets and spray! The customer service was good and prompt but sadly they didn’t work for us.

Bought these as I am a mosquito magnet as soon as I step off the plane hoping I could have a bite free holiday.
Wore one on my ankle and one on my wrist every day and even one on each ankle overnight but unfortunately still got bitten every day.
They helped me not get bitten as much but were definitely not 100% effective for me.

Bought the bracelets for the first time for a family holiday to Como, Italy. The first evening we all put them on and ALL of us were bitten very badly. The reactions to these bites have been the worst we have ever seen.
They smell nice but utterly ineffective against mosquitoes. Don’t bother.

I suffered for many years with dreaded bug bites, they seemed to gorge themselves on me, as most summers were spent camping in UK or Europe with family and or our Scout troop, but having to put on lotions which never really worked, I was recommended the Pestect bracelets by my wife as she read some reviews on Amazon then got me a pack, to be honest I was skeptical to start off with as the idea sounded crazy but she insisted it was worth a try, shock and surprise I managed a camping for 2 weeks with zero bite whilst wearing Pestect bracelets, one on each wrist to begin with, but I lost one halfway thru trip so even with one bracelet it still did the job.
Colour me impressed I then recommended them to scouts, other leaders and parents plus friends, really anyone I knew. It's a very simple idea 💡 just wish I'd thought of it myself, I'd be a rich man with this perfect anti bite product which does what it states on packet, I can whole heartedly Recommend them if you suffer as I used to with dreaded bug bites of any sort. I started using these in 2019 onwards I just wish I'd trued them sooner 😪

Products dont work. When i reached out about them not working I was ignored.

More importantly i’ve tried to unsubscribe from their marketing countless times now, and am still getting emails.

Dont bother.

My family is huge on after dinner walks, even our two year old asks for them! We meet friends out in our neighborhood field so the kids can run wild together. There are five families, twelve kids total. The mosquitoes can get bad some days. I was ranting over my purchase for a week until they finally arrived! Everyone was excited and anxiously awaiting my experimentations! The first three days I wore the same band for about two hours each, placing the bracelet back into the bag like directed! I thought I hit gold! I sent my daughter and husband camping for five days (two on my daughter, wrist and ankle, for extra protection)! I swam at our neighborhood pool as the directions say safe to get wet. The mosquitoes started biting end of night. I thought maybe too much chlorine from the pool may have compromised my bracelet. Tonight I took out a brand new bracelet...I was bitten alive! We left, even when the kids wanted to stay. I even got bit about five inches away from my bracelet! Very unsuccessful and sad to continue my repellent search elsewhere.

These are excellent and I haven’t been bitten since wearing these on holiday. In fact, I took the band off a day before my holiday ended and this was the only day I was bitten. I wish they offered more attractive colours such as a light beige / stone / neutrals pack like their solid colours but in a lighter tone

I visited Spain in July and got several painful Mosquito bites.
On my return I purchased a pack of bands,bracelets, a bottle of spray a relief pen.
I returned to the same place in Spain for a week in August.
I wore one band on my wrist and one on my ankle & also used the spray a bit.
All I can say is they were amazing - I didn’t get bitten once.
I was sceptical and thought they might be a bit pricey but they were worth every penny and I have enough for my next couple of holidays.

Love this product. Used for two holidays so far and not a single bite! Would 100% recommend

Don’t buy these expecting a completely bite-free experience. My daughter-in-law was bitten so many time on her legs, despite wearing a bracelet on her ankle. The rest of our party were still bitten but probably less so than in previous years.

We had these recommend to us we have used them in Thailand we have had a good result we have had a bite on the ankle for one of us the other was using a band around the ankle had has not had a bite Thailand is well known and people are recommended to buy there spray out here and I had this on the ankle I was bitten on so still no guarantee overall we are pleased

This is my third time ordering the repellent spray which had been working very well for me and my daughter. So this review isn't for the product but for the customer service.

I put one star due to the bad customer service provided. The option to chat online is really poor. It's been an hour since I gave them my order number to track because I've been waiting since Wednesday morning (it's now Monday evening) for a shipping confirmation (which they said would be within two days of ordering).
I sent an email to their support email address, but no reply. There's really no other way to get in touch with them. It's annoying to pay over £13 for the repellent spray and have nothing to show for it. I am not sure I will want to order from Pestects again after this experience. That's a shame

I really wanted to like these, especially because they use natural ingredients, but unfortunately they just haven’t worked for me.

This is now the third holiday where I’ve used them and the third holiday where I’ve been bitten. During my current trip to Mexico, I’ve been changing the bands regularly, wearing one on my wrist and one on my ankle, and keeping them on consistently throughout my stay.

Unfortunately, despite doing this, I’ve still been bitten quite a lot. I’ve also been out in jungle conditions on trips here in Mexico, where I’ve been bitten particularly badly — even while wearing both bands.

I genuinely wanted these to work because I’d much rather use a natural alternative, but based on my experience, they simply don’t cut the mustard compared with other repellents I’ve used previously.

Hopefully the company will take this feedback on board and look at the formulation or effectiveness of the product, because I’d really like to see a natural repellent that genuinely works.

Unfortunately, for me, these just haven’t done the job.

These have been a god send . My partner in particular was bitten a lot when we travelled abroad but wearing these bracelets . Putting a fresh one every night have been fabulous . The choice of colour is great and they are so easy to put on . Will use all the time when travelling

We starting using the bands around 18 months ago & 3 holidays abroad later, we wouldn’t be without them. Prior to this, I would get bitten on every single holiday & they have been amazing! I was once bitten so badly & by a mosquito that was infected so I had a terrible allergic reaction & all my eyes & face swelled up so I had to go to hospital for intravenous antihistamine. I have recommended them to all my friends & family & would never leave for the airport without them. Another plus factor is the brilliant colour choice that you can match to any outfit they just blend in perfectly! Needless to say I will be buying them again or topping up the existing bands with the spray. Great value too, there’s nothing negative to say they are just brill!
