WFH foldable desk is perfect and fulfill all the needs. The customisation take the product to another level. I enjoy working. 😉

Drop Top desk - curved monitor modification: My drop top desk arrived in wonderful packaging, all cardboard and easily recycled. The desk is quite sturdy and the metal mounting cleat has holes spaced for a 16" on center wall and holds the desk securely. I noticed a few discussions surrounding curved monitors not fitting. I did make an adjustment to my set up where I created a mounting bracket cutout in the back of the desk so that I could mount the bracket on the wall within the enclosed desk. Works wonderfully. I may have missed it, but this could be a cool custom requested feature? We did just fine using a jig saw and router to smooth the edges. All is hidden behind the monitor.

This desk is simple but great. It folds away well and is a great improvement to my earlier desk.

However, the Extendable Monitor Mount is a disappointment. I might have gotten a bad one but the last axis, the one that closest to the screen is to stiff and there is no way to loosen it.

I LOVE my desk (DropTop Single 34 Lite). I ended up opting for the cheaper lite version because they are expensive, but the quality is definitely there. Somethings that would have helped me: 1) read the emails that come after you order. The assembly instructions are online, not in the box. 2) if you order outside of the UK, I am in the USA, I had to pay tax before they would deliver. Not a big deal, I just didn't read that part. 3) Put the cam locks in place before you assemble, they are nearly impossible to put in after the sides are together because the build quality is tight, not loose like cheap furniture. 4) the locking part....that was the hardest part to figure out how to get right and it still takes a awhile to get it to latch and lock. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but you have to lock it to keep the desk from dropping.

If you don't have room for a desk, I highly recommend these desks!!!! I wish I could post pictures, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that.

9 weeks waiting for my order and it came with an incorrect piece which was manufactured inverted. Very slow response from customer care. Still waiting.

We selected a beautiful photograph of our daughter sitting by a lakeshore for our Drop Top, and the team cleaned up the image to absolute perfection. It arrived so beautifully presented that we couldn't stop admiring it straight out of the box.

Now hanging on our wall, it brings us joy at the end of each workday—we're no longer confronted with our workspace and endless to-do lists.

While the Drop Top is certainly an investment, we truly believe it's worth every single penny. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

just honestly not enough value for money, it's made literally from the same material as any other cheap flatpack you find at ikea; except at ikea you'd spend 80 as opposed to 500

Absolutely love my new Drop Top! Exactly as I envisioned it. Beautiful design, excellent quality, and a huge upgrade for my apartment and home office.

Products are pricey, but the desk I ordered is amazing. It fills the exact niche I needed with the quality I trust will last a long time.

Wanted to love this desk but haven’t been able to use it yet. The assembly (droptop light 29) was reasonable if way longer than the advertised 20-30min if you’re a single person working in a small space (it’s awkward).

on my unit the bottom hinges (holding the large flat desk portion onto the unit) won’t attach well enough with the screws into the mdf to keep the separate, heavy desk piece attached to the unit without sagging. As a result, it’s misaligned and I can’t lock my unit closed. The mdf area where the screws are supposed to go in is also now f’d/stripped after attempting to take the hinges off and put them back on.

This has legit been the most frustrating experience assembling furniture I’ve ever had in a lifetime of dealing with crappy IKEA. I expected more given the cost of these units. Have reached out to company and will update review after response.

I'm extremely satisfied with my wall-mounted desk. The quality is excellent, and the whole setup looks even better than I expected.
I chose the configuration with the monitor setup and deck, and evrythibg integrates really well! It gi es me a proper dual workstation while keeping the room cleab and organized, without taking up too much space.

This desk is fantastic. Arrived completely set up, amazing cable management, simply hung on the wall and plugged it in and everything was ready to go. Feels sturdy, the desk surface area is huge and then it folds away so nicely at the end of the day. Game changer.

Si me preguntan si compraría otro, mi respuesta sería:
(Si lo bajan 400 € del total de los 1.643 €uros, sí lo compraría, sino no).

Really perfect
Quality at top
Delivery in time

Hello Pith & Stem Team

We are absolutely fascinated by the DropTops, and the design is absolutely amazing. The quality is great.
The craftsmanship is flawless, and everything is exactly as we ordered it. The wood frame is finished neatly with no rough edges. The electrical connections and hinges are also neatly recessed or screwed in place.

Once again, thank you so much for the great communication, the support, and working with us on the pictures. You’re doing a fantastic job.

This desk has truly transformed my workspace. I no longer need to disassemble and pack up my laptop and accessories when moving between rooms. It’s always ready to use and easily stows away when not needed. Definitely a worthwhile investment. As someone who isn’t handy with DIY projects, I hired a professional via Airtasker to install the desk, and they completed the job in less than 30 minutes. The assembly instructions were straightforward and easy to follow.

I couldn't be happier about this purchase -- shipped out to NYC without a problem. I now have a way to make my kids room a workspace while they're out at childcare, and then fold it all away at the end of the day!

I love my drop top desk. It has transformed working from home.

Great service, had to wait a little while for delivery after ordering but all well communicated and arrived within the stated timescales so no issues and definitely worth the wait!

I rarely write reviews this detailed, but **Pith & Stem deserves one — especially for anyone in the U.S. who loves the DropTop but is hesitant about making a significant purchase from a company overseas.**

I had been looking at the Pith & Stem DropTop for **over a year** before finally ordering one. Between the cost of the desk and international shipping from the UK to the U.S., this wasn't an impulse purchase. I researched it, measured everything, and even contacted the company before ordering to confirm that my new 24" iMac would fit.

When the desk finally arrived, I absolutely loved it. **The quality, finish, design, and functionality are every bit as impressive in person as they appear online.** It truly is a beautiful piece of furniture when closed and an incredibly clever workspace when open.

Unfortunately, after having it professionally installed, we discovered that my particular iMac was about a quarter of an inch too tall for the Duo 24 to close properly — even after I purchased a different monitor mount trying to make it work.

I was devastated.

And this is where Pith & Stem earned a customer for life.

Daniel and the team didn't become defensive or make me jump through hoops. They asked for photos and measurements, figured out what was happening, and then offered an incredible solution: **they would replace my Duo 24 with the larger Duo 27 at absolutely no additional cost to me.** No upgrade charge. No additional international shipping charge. No additional import fees.

They also made sure the replacement would have **the same custom artwork, US power configuration, finish, and options from my original order.**

Then they went one step further.

I had already removed and discarded my old desk, so the DropTop had become my actual working desk. I asked whether I could possibly keep using it while the replacement was being manufactured rather than being without a desk for weeks. They agreed to let me keep the Duo 24 until the new Duo 27 arrives and use the replacement's packaging to safely box up the original for collection.

**That level of customer service is extraordinary.**

It's easy to give a company five stars when an order arrives and everything goes perfectly. I think the better measure of a company is **what they do when something doesn't go perfectly.**

This could easily have turned into a frustrating international purchase and return. Instead, Pith & Stem took responsibility for finding a solution and repeatedly asked what they could do to help.

For anyone in the **United States who is considering a DropTop but nervous about ordering an expensive, customized piece of furniture from a UK company**, I hope my experience gives you some reassurance. Based on the way Pith & Stem has handled my situation, I would absolutely feel comfortable purchasing from them again.

I originally waited more than a year to finally buy my DropTop.

**The desk was worth the wait — and the customer service made me even happier that I chose Pith & Stem.**

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Five stars, without hesitation.**
