Probably scam
I ordered their product Nanotechnology (Smart) bandage on 2 June 2026, and the estimated delivery date was listed as 8â25 June 2026. At some point, I received a message from Amazon stating that, because the seller had not confirmed the order, no payment had been taken from my account. Amazon recommended that I contact the seller, which I did.
Instead of replying through Amazon, the seller contacted me via WhatsApp on 9 June 2026. They began by explaining that they were unsure how customs duties would work if the sale went through Amazon and suggested that I purchase the item directly from them instead. I told them that I have never had any problems receiving goods ordered from outside the UK and that, given the relatively small value of the purchase, no UK customs charges would apply.
The seller ignored all of this and continued talking about customs issues. Eventually, I sent them a screenshot showing that UK customs does not charge customs duty on goods below certain value thresholds. The seller still ignored this and insisted that I send my consent for the sale to proceed through Amazon, which made no sense to me because I had never cancelled my order.
At that point, the situation began to look like a scam to me. For some reason, the seller seemed intent on frightening me with stories about long customs delays and additional charges. Yet if I bought directly from them, there supposedly would not be any problem at all.
Today, I discovered that the seller had cancelled my order on Amazon. I then did some research online and found a number of comments describing this seller as untrustworthy.
Of course, everyone can make up their own mind, but I think it is worth asking how a seller can be unable to deal with such basic matters as customs duties and international shipping, and why they advertise products on Amazon if they do not actually want to sell through Amazon or confirm orders placed there.
In any case, caution is advisable. When purchasing through Amazon, buyers benefit from Amazon's protections. If you deal directly with the seller instead, you may end up losing your money.
