What went wrong this time? EVERY time I try and place an ad it goes into limbo and my current one has been there for over 3 weeks. They used to be an excellent website and you could speak to PEOPLE. They don't reply to emails and I doubt I'll get a response for this. They are pathetic

Preloved used to be a great place to sell anything, but something's gone very wrong with it recently. I've been waiting for almost two weeks for my advert to be approved, and nobody answers customer service emails at all. Shockingly bad now, what a shame.

I have submitted numerous advertisements over the past few months which have never been validated. I have emailed about 14/15 times asking for these to be approved with no reply. I have also asked for the complaints procedure….no reply!! Yet other advertisements are constantly being approved in the same categories. Waste of a membership and time

Absolute useless website , Poor communication if any at all, and when you do nothing is clarified.

Absolutely excellent speedy review times and fast response to all queries, this site is unparalleled and definitely the best I have come across in my lifetime...

Ive put and add up weeks ago,and still waiting for it to be reviewed, I also have 3 unread messages that you keep sending emails to say has your item been sold as you have unread messages but when I click on them theres no new messages they,re not showing up,I have messaged them numerous times and have never had a reply, to have a great site for selling and buying go to crap is such a shame

Ad still pending in editorial review. 2-3 weeks now. Emailed and had nothing back. Site help info is just lacking any real information. Been on Preloved for years it’s definitely getting worse!

Very disappointing experience – poor customer service
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.
I ordered two items which looked much larger to me in the product photos than they were when they arrived, so I decided to return the entire order. The return was delivered successfully, but I then had to wait around three weeks for my refund and send multiple emails before I finally received the refund for the items.
Even then, the original shipping costs were not refunded. I had also paid an additional £25 separately for “prepaid customs duties”. I was told that these duties could not be refunded because they had already been paid to the destination country.
I therefore asked for a receipt or other proof showing that the £25 had actually been paid as customs duties, and I also asked where in the shop’s Terms and Conditions it states that these prepaid duties are non-refundable. I have followed up several times and am still waiting for an answer.
What disappoints me most is the lack of communication. Problems can happen with any order, but customers should not have to repeatedly chase a business for a refund or for answers about money they have paid.
Based on my experience, I would not order from this shop again.

Despite the seller's public response to my review, I still haven't received any further reply from Jasmine.

I responded to her email and provided the requested information, but it has now been two weeks with absolutely no response.

This is exactly the problem I wanted to highlight in my original review: extremely poor customer service and a complete lack of communication when something goes wrong.

A public response means very little if the seller then ignores the customer privately.

Having been a member for fifteen years, following this renewal (I paid twice) All adverts kept in editorial review for up to two months! All emails unanswered , no contact number! Informed them that unless my last email was replied too , I would close my account! No reply , therefore account closed! I believe this platform is now run by A.I.?

I have been a Preloved premium member since March 2011. This year l downgraded to Full membership as l was spending more on membership than selling. Mostly because 17 adverts have been awaiting review for months. Have messaged them many times with no response. What has gone wrong at Preloved. Seriously considering cancelling membership.
10/10/26 - Noted Preloved response earlier but could not find the response request- even messaged Trust Pilot for help but no reply as yet, so cannot move on with my original post problem

I’ve been a member for 10 years and it was good until June 2026 when it suddenly stopped working. My ads are awaiting editorial review for months on end. Emails not responded to. Are the owners definitely still alive?

Only giving one star because I have to. I have posted a couple of adds on preloved, well within the guidelines. My adds aren't being made live. I've tried to contact prelove over and over. I've had no response. This has been going on now for a couple of month. Preloved has become a total waste of time. Dee Johnson.

Would get a 0 star if I could. Requested advert over 2 months ago still stuck in editorial review and emailed them with no response absolutely useless should be closed down

Almost a week and my ad is still pending editorial review in order to go live. I wrote them an email a few days ago, no response to the email and the advert is still pending to be reviewed. That said I am paying a membership as well. Communication is absent. Very very poor.

Been waiting weeks for an advert to be approved. Emailed a few times and no reply.. quick enough to take my membership money though. Membership now cancelled, will advertise elsewhere

Terrible. Terrible lack of service. Adverts stuck in review nearly a week. No response to 3 emails querying why! Used to be such a good site. Also another moan about searching. When I put a radius of 20 mls, it keeps reverting to nationwide. Shockingly gone downhill. Avoid if you can!!!

Do not bother trying to put a advert on, my advert has been pending for over 7 weeks now! Emailed them 10 times no response...avoid!!

Honestly a joke. It’s been over a month and my advert has not been approved. I have tried to contact twice. It’s been 2 weeks. Heard nothing. I put a review on here, they responded within 24 hours asking me to contact them. Yet again, not heard anything ! They make it seem they they are helping on here but when you actually respond back you get blanked again.

I think the issue is when people advertise as will post, then they don't. Someone was selling body pray, said will go to charity but couldn't be bothered to post. It would have taken 30 seconds to parcel up. Make post out and option and if people change their mind, they shouldn't be allowed to sell it anymore.

I paid for the full experience and then uploaded an advert on the 27th of August 2026. There is nothing wrong with the advert, no links, no phone number and it's listed elsewhere with no issues. It's still pending today on the 17th of September 2026. What a joke, paying money to use an app and still being unable to use it, they haven't got in tough to say anything is wrong with the advert - it still says pending. I would like a full refund as the membership is only to list this one item and it's now sold elsewhere and you guys still haven't managed to post it, or failing that, tell me why it isn't posted or fail the advert from uploading. Worst webpage I have ever used and I beg of others don't pay this scam site for anything.

Edit: they have responded to this review and asked for a reference number? Which obviously doesn't exist as it's an account and I can't find any account number. Sent them my full personal details though so if they can't find my account it's on them.
