Rude Female on front desk = Poor Experience
The mechanics do their thing and do it well but the whole experience is let down by one of the female staff who is abruptly rude and aggressive in tone (Mousy brown straight hair).
Priorslee offer a Blue Light Discount which isnât well known beyond word of mouth. Theyâre based in the middle of an ambulance, police and fire station so its good business strategy.
That said it doesnât state that bluelight isnât applied for all invoices. Apparently itâs not applied for tyres. No problem and noted for future.
When I initially asked for the blue light discount (as I have done in the past with no issues) to the person actually serving me, the female in question abruptly shouted to me in a patronising tone âCan you tell us in advance next timeâ before stating they did not offer BL for tyres (But they DO offer it for the MOT which wasnât honoured).
This was said with venom and in a patronising tone. In no other industry do I tell people in advance to invoice me with blue light because more often than not I need to provide proof first. Every other occasion I have asked and not been met with the hostility.
It would also be nice if you advertised the conditions âin advanceâ with proper marketing god forbid somebody ask again.
Others have noted poor attitude and customer service. Maybe thatâs just how this particular person is but Itâs not good business practice to talk with hostility to customers.
I suspect strongly said person holds a year long grudge after a negative experience last year. Needless to say I likely wonât come back and Iâm going to actively encourage others not to as well. In fact many have already replied in my group chat (from various services) stating they know exactly who Iâm talking about.
Poor customer service and unprofessionalism isnât accepted in any industry which is a shame because the rest of the team and mechanics are great.
Constructive feedback:
There is a sign on the wall behind the desk about abusive language and aggression. That works both ways.
Whilst booking an MOT is straightforward, thereâs no way online to change the booking or cancel which would be helpful especially when staff donât answer the phone.
Please advertise the conditions for Blue Light somewhere thatâs visible.
Please list your opening times and contact information on Google as you have to dig through your website to find the details.
