Speedy resolution

From first contact to completion of my claim, a period of just 4 weeks, Prism have been very efficient and kept me informed along the way. The contractor they selected to carry out the work were also very good.

Prism are friendly but inefficient/ ineffective and hard to get works completed

Prism are very kind and friendly on the phone but we had a shower issue and leak in October 2025, reported it then and then spent the next 5 months trying to get the works completed.

Prism hired one vendor that started the works but the quality was soo bad (didn't follow any building regs and would have collapsed after a month or so) I stopped them from continuing the shower rebuild and asked for a new vendor. Funny as I had asked Prism if all people from this vendor had the right qualifications to undertake these works and they said yes to the best of their knowledge (this was not true). Also had a issue with a toilet that had never had an issue before after their subcontractors had been in the bathroom and they told me they could fix for some cash in hand, I declined and fixed t myself, felt dodgy.

Second vendor came and were brilliant, efficient and top quality but this was after months of waiting, irritation and bureaucracy and an official complaint....while Prism followed their internal processes slowly we waited as a family of 5 with one less bathroom for 5 months.

Created a complaint and mother company paid out some cash as an apology.

Actual works took 3 days to complete, if they had hired a decent vendor at the start and have some work on their standard operating procedures for claim approval, builder allocation etc. then this could have been taken care of in two weeks and would have been completed in October November 2025...instead it was completed March 13th 2026.

Prism were accommodating and friendly but need to improve their internal processes for efficiency and double check who they subcontract building works to.

Would not want to claim through them again, not the worst but unnecessarily painful and stressful for us.

Flawless

A wonderful firm. I dealt with Sarah. Despite my initial frustration, she kept calm, professional and showed genuine care. When I was slow in providing the correct information, she was patient, yet politely gave gentle reminders to help me out - what other firm does that?

Precise attention to detail and excellent care.

We have found the team from Prism to be very helpful, courteous and thoughtful in their dealing with us and sorting out the necessary works to be done. They keep us well informed and have been very helpful in giving us clear answers to our questions. They have been proactive in making sure that necessary works stay on track, and if we have needed to call/email to ask anything, their staff have been very kind, caring in their attitude.

Prism very professional

Prism explained everything that would happen following the leak in my property from the property upstairs. They appointed someone to assess and write a report for the scope of work.
That company was a little slow but prism contacted them and kept me informed
They gave me a full explanation of the options and answered all my questions.

Service as it used to be.

The damage caused to my property by a Homeserve contractor was repaired to a very high standard and in a short space of time by Hogar Construction and I'm delighted with the result. Customer Service kept me up to date with my claims progress throughout and I highly recommend Homeserve, Prism and Hogar Construction. Service as it used to be.

Service with a smile!

This organisation has revived my faith in British business! They have acted promptly and considerately to provide redress. Their regular and very polite communication via email and phone has been exemplary. Coupled with this was prompt and efficient liaison with their contractors (they offered me a choice of mine or theirs). Messages to the contractors were passed on and the outcome was that damage was put right within 4 weeks from first contact. This was a small claim but everything that went into its settlement suggests a company that understands customer service and how to meet customers' needs promptly, courteously and effectively. Keep up the good work Prism!

They did not earn even one star

They did not earn even one star. Appointed by an Insurance Co. to verify cost of specialist repairs (circa £5500) to Grade II Listed iron gates damaged by delivery lorry. Very detailed breakdown of costs provided and hour rate quotes for two other specialist companies provided. All they could say was that "the Insurers will pay X (being 15% less than the cost. They had no knowledge, did no research on costs, did not inspect, provide alternative quotes nor would contact/discuss my complaints with their clients, the Insurer's - who had accepted 100% liability for the damage. This firm are incompetant surveyors, do not pay sub-contractors when they appoint them, and are clearly solely interested to beating down a claimed sum as much as possible with no good legal reason whatsoever. I contacted the Insurer's direct that would issue County Court proceedings against their client insured, the delivery firm, if the did not pay my claim in full, within 7 days. They paid me the next day. Prism are an absolute disgrace. Insurance companies' reputation will be badly tainted by Prisms' appalling ethics, if they continue to subcontract out any claims handling process to them.

Liars and cowboys damaged my house lied and spoke to me very ill mannered and blamed me for their employ not bringing a ladder, a year later ombudsman found them to have damaged my house
Suggest if not satisfied take to the ombudsman as this company is clearly run by bogus con men

Very poor execution of repairs at 28 Consort Road, London, SE15 2PU took Prism Network

My dealings with Prism Network is hell on earth. They are liars, unskilled, and inconsistent. To carry out a minor repairs following a very minor leak at my one bedroom flat situated at 28 Consort Road, London, SE15 2PU took Prism Network nothing less than 10 months and still the repairs said ought to have taken a skilled workman between 3 and 4 weeks was botched and still not completed by the 2 roadside labourers sent to the property. None of the concerns I raised about the poor work from the inception was taken into consideration by these cowboy contractors called Prism Network. I will ever regret having had anything to do with this no fit purposes of an organisation. Dealing with Prism Network is the worst nightmare I have ever encountered in my almost 7 decades on earth. Prism Network's handling of my repairs is tantamount to a scam. Thanks. Mr. Marcellinus U. Iwuji

Disgraceful company

Disgraceful company. A wall was knocked down by an ambulance back in Feb. They have acted on behalf of the insurance company of the NHS who have caused the damage. We received 2 quotes from builders for £3800 and £4400 to rebuild a whole wall as it was damaged beyond any repair.

We have only been offered £2200 as a settlement. They have been absolutely no help in resolving the matter. Most concerns raised are completely ignored. They do not offer any help or support and I do not really understand what they point of them is.

After 5 months in now looks like we are going to have to go through our own house insurance to try and get this resolved.

Poor service.

Nearly 4 months into a severe water ingress claim. No urgency - still waiting for drying out! Poor communication: inflexible and non committal with very limited empathy. Very economic about discussions with 3rd party contractor. I suspect their focus is on cost saving rather than providing a pro active service. Zurich should look elsewhere as my experience thus far will inform my next household insurance decisions.

Awful company - waste of time and effort dealing with them.

Awful company - third party reviewers for Zurich insurance - took weeks to review our claim and deemed it to be late and not the right kind of damage to deem a payout. No one sent out, and clear evidence was rejected in matter of hours upon it being pressed. Very unprofessional handling of insurance claim, only rejecting it to save them time and money.
