I would not use this company again. I eventually received something different to what I ordered. I tried emailing and phoning the company but received no replies. I sent the item back but the post office have been unable to deliver it on more than one occasion and it hasn't been picked up from the local depot. I ended up buying what I wanted elsewhere. Thankfully, PayPal have been able to get me a refund. My advice - avoid Purple Linda.

Having waited well over 8 days for yarn that was supposed to be in stock and posted immediately on receipt of the order I then emailed, several times with no reply, no phone calls were accepted. I have had to buy again elsewhere and am still waiting for a response and my money back. A company to be avoided

I Placed an order on a Saturday, I hadn’t had any updates two working days later. I know it had only been two working days and their website does specify that orders will be dispatched 2-5 working days after payment, but after seeing reviews on here about people not receiving their orders after payment had been taken, I was getting worried. I emailed purple linda crafts that same day for my own peace of mind, asking if there was an update for my order, I then got a dispatch email later that day and my item arrived as described Two days later. I was happy with it and it was considerably cheaper than any other stores, however due to so many recent bad reviews on here, I am sorry but I would be reluctant to order from here again.

Placed an order. Money taken. Confirmation email. No delivery yet. 2 weeks. Not replied to messages on website or emails. Usually very good .

Do not use this company! Took my order and said they'd be in touch to confirm despatch. No contact. I emailed to see if it had been sent. No reply. I emailed to cancel order and asked for refund. No reply. Had to contact bank to try to claim back my money which i gavr still not gotten. PurpleLindaCrafts have ignored all my emails, then sent the goods which I had cancelled (as i got them elsewhere) and have still not got my refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I ordered a week ago, it said online yarn in stock, got order confirmation, but nothing since, no dispatch email, send 3 emails to inquire about my order...nothing back. Having now read all the bad reviews here, I will send a final email that I will pull my payment back if I don't hear by tomorrow. At least they can put something on their website if they are in some sort of trouble

Placed my order on 6th Feb for wool that was supposed to be in stock. My £59 was taken but still no delivery.
I have also emailed (5 times) and tried the ‘disconnected’ phone number.
Unfortunately I didn’t pay through PayPal or I would have reported it by now. If I have not had a response from my emails or taken delivery of my order or been contacted to say my money has been refunded by Tuesday will be contacting Trading Standards.

Placed an order for wool on the 8th feb took my money immediately. To date no wool I've emailed couple of times tried ringing only to discover phone disconnects and website says they do not allow contact by phone. I'm feeling this is fraud. Wish i had looked here first as i would not have placed an order.

I placed an order 2 weeks ago as need yarn for business orders. The site said in stock. I have not received stock nor reply to email. Phone number now not on site. Had issues with them mixing up my order 2 years ago which to be fair ended in my favour but last time messaged them a year ago..no answer. If there is a supply issue then this is the 2nd company that has taken my money and not contacted the buyer. I will give this company until the end of the week to respond and fulfil order, If no response, then Paypal will be contacted and this time Trading Standards. I have been using this company for a long time and it has gone totally to the dogs in recent years. They may be cheap but I would rather go with RELIABLE and honest.,,and pay more. That is consumer power I am afraid! Update, I took out a claim with Paypal and over 3 weeks after ordering? Received, no letter of apology and they couldn't even be bothered to respond to Paypal claim. Sorry, Linda, I will not longer be supporting you and as a business , I will be telling other customers too.

I placed an order on 13th Jan and paid carriage. I had an order confirmation, and then I waited, and waited. After two weeks I emailed, 5 times. No reply. I tried a phone number I found online. Disconnected. Finally, I raised it with PayPal . They contacted Linda. Nothing. A week later I escalated it with PayPal. That seemed to spur her on and now after 4 weeks, I’ve finally got my goods!
I wouldn’t have minded if Linda had just replied and explained that there was a delay. I got exactly what I ordered. Linda, if you see this, please keep your customers informed.

Wish I'd looked on here before I ordered. Placed an order 2 weeks ago, they took the money within 24 hours and still haven't had an email to say they've dispatched the goods. No customer phone number available, no reply to email. Currently on the phone to the bank to see if I can get the money back from them. Really shouldn't run a business if you cannot fulfill people's orders and it's clearly not just my order which has been affected. No replies or responses to any of these terrible reviews on Trust Pilot as well I notice...
I would always like to give a small business benefit of the doubt, since there may be personal reasons why business is temporarily affected, but it's quite clear this has been going on for a long time and is exceptionally poorly managed. Absolutely no excuse to keep accepting orders and taking people's hard earned money when you have no intention of fulfilling their order for weeks, if at all.

I placed an order on 15 Jan and I have not received the goods, they took the money from my account on 17 Jan. I have emailed them but to date no response. I would not buy from the company again and I would advice you don't either as they do not send out the order and do not response to email. But they do take your money. There is no phone number so you can't call them. They should not be in business as they are treating good paying customers appallingly

As others have said, if I'd seen the reviews, I probably wouldn't have placed the order. As it was, I ordered some Sirdar yarn at £1 each; the normal price was over £4 and the absolute cheapest I've seen it at was about £2.50. I had no problems placing the order and when the yarn arrived, was really pleased with it. I bought an old gold colour - which was true to the picture - and Limey colour - which, when it arrived, was nothing like as vibrant as the picture. I decided to keep the Lime anyway - I can use it. Because I had no problems, I give it 5 stars but probably would steer clear in future if there is any chance I might have to return yarn and try for a refund or replacement.

I read the reviews here before I ordered but decided to give them a go. First order came no problem. The second time I ordered pink wool and they send blue. Emailed 3 times and no response not even an acknowledgement. Will not use again

Have emailed them about 5 times as there's no telephone number to ring. No response! Wool was faulty and I needed to arrange return and refund. I wouldn't buy from them again.

Absolutely terrible service, just under a month to deliver the goods despite me trying to get in touch with them. Only resolved once PayPal resolution team got involved, if you use this shop use PayPal

Disappointed , no correspondence have messaged several times and not even an acknowledgement.
Over a month since order, and still waiting.
If this is the service and customer support they operate . Would not recommend .

l was looking for some reasonably priced cotton 4ply and came across purplelindas damaged yarn packs. I have ordered a few packs on two occasions and I am pleased to say that they yarn was great quality and perfect for my project. A nice range of colours which worked well to make striped cotton socks. Im glad I didnt look at the Trustpilot reviews before ordering as I probably would not have placed an order. Delivery was prompt on both occasions, and delivered by Royal Mail which is always a bonus .

I wish I could give 0 stars for this dreadful business. A few weeks ago, I had to look on many websites for a colour of yarn that was not available at Wool Warehouse who I always deal with. I found on Purplelinda Crafts they were advertising the colour so I placed an order for that and two other colours which I could have got elsewhere but decided to order all in one go. After waiting over a week, having received details of my order with a telephone number and email address, I decided to ring Purplelinda Crafts, oddly it said I had dialled the wrong number, so I tried again, it turned out that it wasnt that number. So I emailed but the reply didnt come after a few days so I got in touch with my credit card company to raise a dispute. Eventually after almost 2 weeks I received an email from Purplelinda Crafts stating that they had been expecting the colour I ordered to come with a delivery (I could have ordered in that fashion from anyone) would I like another colour? I replied immediately and told them I wanted the colour I had ordered, if they couldn't supply, then refund me. By now I had filled in all details for my credit card company along with document copies. Still I didnt hear, then 2 days ago late in the evening I received an email to say they had refunded me. My message is clear, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY, because you cannot ring them, and if you do not persist as I did, and I consider myself a lucky one, you may never get your refund or your order. I will always, always, always, check reviews now after this experience, before ordering from a company on the internet.
