This company deserves zero stars. I received an acknowledgment of my order on 13 March and nothing since. I have emailed PurpleLina 3 times and have received no reply or my goods. Absolutely disgusting

I saw the reviews for this company after I had ordered and my heart sunk. However, my experience was very good. Received products three days after making order. Good quality beads, well packaged and hassle free.

Would give zero stars if I could. Completely unacceptable service from PurpleLinda crafts. Order placed and confirmation email received and then nothing. I contacted them several times by email asking for an update on my order but received no reply. After 30 days of not receiving my goods I had to get my bank involved and only then they emailed me to say they are refunding me. Completely unacceptable, they’re taking people’s money and not fulfilling orders or providing any updates or communications. Wish I had read these other bad reviews first!

Like most people who paid good money for goods promised but not received, I too am appalled by the lack of service or interest displayed by Purplelinda crafts. I ordered yarn on 6th March, my account debited on 8th March and received confirmation that my order would be dispatched between 3 to 10 days. It is now 8th April and still no yarn or replies to my emails sent during the past few weeks.
I have asked for my money back but no response so have contacted Trading Standards to report my findings.
I have never known a company yet to fail in their customer service but this company has 100%. Go elsewhere is my advice, this company does not deliver anything like the service it offered.

Just like so many others, money gone from bank account, partial order received, no response to emails.I dont think I will use company again. Will contact bank and trading standards. What a shame

I wish I had read Trustpilot. I placed an order two weeks ago. Money was taken from my bank account. I have since emailed 3 times asking about my order with no reply. I have now sent a signed for letter informing Purplelinda that I have consulted Citizens Advice and unless I receive a refund within 48 hours I will be making a complaint to Trading Standards

After getting a chargeback from my credit card company, my wool suddenly arrived after 6 weeks of placing my order! Linda could save a lot of problems if she only responded to emails and read these reviews. No customer service at all.
I have now instructed Mastercard to reverse my chargeback and pay Linda.

Made an order . Took my payment of £20 . They sent confirmation of payment . No order has arrived. No communication . I'm contacting trading standards.
The telephone number on their website doesnt accept calls.

My story is the same as the others. Ordered 7 balls of wool. Only received 5. Have emailed twice but no reply. No customer service whatsoever. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered wool 17 Jan. No delivery, no response to emails. Contacted Citizens Advise and Credit Chargeback with my bank last week. Amazingly the wool arrived this morning. No delivery note, no apology. Clearly either or both of the above have had an effect? Will never order from this company again. Don’t give up, report it! You may then get your order.

After placing my order on 9th Feb I have had no contact from Linda. Emails ignored, phone disconnected. So I sent a recorded delivery letter on17th March. Today, 27th March my order has finally arrived. No apology or any note explains why it took threatening to go to Trading Standards for my order to be sent. This used to be one of my go to companies, but will never order anything again. Communication is a massive part of running a business and you really need to work on it or you will have no business left.

This is the 2nd review I have written. I ordered on 7th February, the website showed stock of the yarn I wanted no goods, no refund, I had given up hope and put it down to a loss of £46.68, as an experience I wouldn't wish to repeat. My order has arrived today, all present and correct. Please Linda, do yourself and your business a favour, Communication is key, I would have been patient, given the times we are living in and, there would be no need for all of these bad reviews if we all knew what was going on. Would I order again, definitely, if I knew from the onset, there would be a delay.

I'm a writing this second review as advice for anyone still waiting on there order.
After not receiving any response for months about my outstanding order I want through trading standers to file a complaint. Once this was filed and sent to the company owner my order was magical dispatched within less than three hours. This woman is seeing a reading everyone of out emails but will only take the necessary Course of action when trading standards are involved. PLEASE ALL CONTACT TRADING STANDARDS!

I, similarly, ordered some yarns from this website 2 weeks ago and have not received any delivery update or dispatch information, and am not holding out hope of receiving my goods, especially after reading these other recent reviews. Such a disappointment!

I was happy with yarn I bought a couple of years ago so ordered more, over £50 of wool. That was on 21st Feb. Since then I have tried emailing twice with no reply but decided to wait for a month. Still nothing. Money gone and nothing since confirmation of order email.

I understand that trading may be difficult at the moment and I"m prepared to wait longer, but if I receive no reply to a further email, I will have to report it. A pity as I thought their service the first time was very good.. MGovier

Update - I received my order this morning, following an email to advise my order had been dispatched.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Disappointed to read all the reviews. I’m having problems as well. Order placed 20th Feb, confirmation received. Since then nothing, emails sent no communication. I’m embarrassed as I’m Scottish to note this is a Scottish company one which I was trying to assist during this pandemic but to be treated like this is awful. I’m taking my complaint up with Scottish trading standards. This web site needs to be closed and all customers monies refunded.

Don't even think about ordering from this company! Despite several e-mails, my order didn't arrive & I had to pursue a refund via my credit card company.

Wishing I had read these reviews before placing my order on 21st February, which of course hasn’t arrived. I’ve emailed 3 times now, no response. Completely understand that it’s difficult times for small businesses but that should be an incentive to ensure you provide good customer service. Responding to emails/ enquiries from your customers is just basic communication. Doubt I will see my order or money back. Will not be using this website again.

After placing an order on 16th February and not hearing anything for over 3 weeks, I emailed twice without reply. I then found the reviews on here and did wish I seen them before ordering. However to give hope to anyone else waiting, I have just now (18th March) had a dispatch email.
This was the second order I'd placed and to be fair, the first was sent within 10 days so perhaps they're currently having problems. Unfortunately, not answering messages does give a very bad impression of the company.
