At first, I thought I had been scammed, but everything worked out in the end. My duplicate photo situation was out of control, and I needed to find something to make it easier to find the duplicates. I read the ratings from Tech Pout and decided to purchase the subscription. However, after paying I tried to download the program, but Microsoft blocked it as unsafe. I emailed the company by copying the email address into my GMail and I received a response within a few hours from Bit Guardian. They wanted a screenshot of the problem. While working to getting the screenshot, I decided to try again and this time it downloaded the free version without any problem. Then I entered my license # and got into the more advanced program. I replied to the earlier message to let them know that I was successful. I also mentioned that there was a $10.59 price difference and asked if they could reimburse me for the difference that I paid. Their representative responded promptly and reimbursed me the $10.59. And the program seems to be working as advertised. So, I am quite pleased.

Malware included
Installed this to try and clear up duplicates on my computer, scan results were ok but I didn't complete the process.
Next reboot, I started seeing deceptive warning popups for Mcafee expiry (common scam, it's not even installed), and then nag popups with my kid's photos showing they're duplicates. Better free alternatives out there without risk, stay away.

You cannot cancel or file a complaint. It fails to send every time. Have to cancel my credit card I guess is the only way to stop the 34 dollar per month bill.

Another pathetic clickbait nowadays. This is not a freeware but a trial version, but they hide that fact at all cost. I wasted 30 minutes scanning for 1,000 duplicate files and this TRIAL version only let me delete maximum 15 files then blatantly asked me to buy the software to continue. No way I will pay for this customer experience; who paid my wasted time?
