Tomamos un tour grupal con mi familia con esta empresa especialista en caminata a la Montaña de Colores y tuvimos una muy bonita experiencia, el guía jhon fue muy atento con nosotros, la comida buffet fue muy rica, gracias por toda la atención, volveremos a visitar Cusco para visitar mas Lugares.

Una visita mágica a la montaña Arcoiris

Es una belleza natural que no puedes dejar de apreciar, si tienes conocimientos geológicos este lugar te apasionara al maximoooooo por su perfecta alineación de minerales, estratificacion entre otras cosas. Estemos concientes que la bella Wuinikunka estará allí por poco tiempo por la erosión. Quizas en un futuro ya no se pueda visitar por el cuidado que representa.Gracias Rainbow Mountain Peru por el Servicio Recomiendo encarecidamente esta agencia.

Gorgeous view and loved the trek! We had a perfect weather day with mostly sunny skies, a bit of small hails and mist rain which made it more special. Definitely worth waking up at 3am and the 6 hour bus ride. Meeting lots of llamas/alpacas was a bonus! I recommended rainbow mountain peru travel agency.

We were a little nervous to book this trip after reading some reviews regarding the difficulty of the hike. The hike itself it not too bad, however, the altitude makes it strenuous. Having done it, we recommend having at least a couple days to acclimate to the altitude in Cusco before attempting this trek. Make sure to drink plenty of water and bring along any altitude sickness medications (we used Acetazolamide) and coca leaves. Take as many breaks as you need to in order to make it safely to the top. Horses are available along multiple points if needed (80 soles round trip). We also recommended doing the extra hike to Red Mountain as the views are incredible.

There are two places to use the bathroom on the hike to Rainbow Mountain. There isn’t a bathroom along the trail for Red Mountain. We went during rainy season and while it was sunny during the hike, it had rained the night before, leaving snow on the mountain. Luckily by the time our group ascended the mountain (second group that day), the sun had melted most of the snow. Due to the changes in weather, make sure to bring layers, warm hat, gloves, sunglasses, good hiking boots, and a poncho if hiking during rainy season.

The tour was very punctual and it made it possible to arrive without there being a lot of people. Food needs improvement, both breakfast and lunch were not so good.
Other than that it was a very nice tour, demanding but worth it.

Worth every loss of breath, sweat and heart rate!!! takes from 4 to 5 hours to walk, you can ride a horse they are on all the way I recommend to try yourself most of the time to adjust to the altitude then take a horse to recover for the last hike up to the top with is very heavy!! And you have to do it by yourself anyway... Do it as the last tour on Cusco and take deep breath, bring good gear for cold and wind! You won't regret it!

Great Trip With Rainbow Mountain Peru Travel Agency

It was a great hike! Now it starts a little closer to the mountain (6 km, instead of 8 km it was before). I definitely recommend starting the walk no later than 6 a.m. to avoid the large number of people who arrive around 7 to 9 a.m. (That means leaving Cusco at 3 a.m. at the latest). I personally recommend Rainbow Mountain Peru Travel Agency, as they were great with us, included equipment, transportation, meals and took us there early to enjoy without people. And buy a beer on top of the mountain. It makes you a little drunk for the walk!
